(And you're to blame)

Rosa ducked behind a corner, breathing heavily. The sounds of gunshots echoed in the distance. Things weren't looking good. The enemy team had swarmed the base, shooting any intruders on sight.

She checked her weapon. "Good... fully charged again," she muttered, brushing hair out of her eyes. She needed to be on guard. Defeat was not an option.

Peeking around a wall, Rosa took out two sharpshooters hiding on higher ground. They didn't even have time to call for help.

The sound of footsteps pounded past and Rosa crouched down behind the wall again. If she was going to infiltrate the base, she would need to be sneaky. So far, her sharpshooting and stealthiness skills had prevailed. The enemy wouldn't know what hit them.

Once all was quiet again, the girl creeped out of her hiding place and down a dark corridor. If her memory served her right, it was only a few turns after this place, and she would reach the entrance. Nothing could stop her then.

Suddenly a flash of movement appeared out of the corner of her eye.

Rosa turned around only in time to be swiftly pinned to the wall behind her.

"You," she barely had time to exclaim before a pair of lips met hers. In her surprise, her laser tag gun clattered to the ground.

Rosa closed her eyes, letting her grip relax. She couldn't help but smile slightly as she recognized her attacker.

Hugh smiled in return...

Before shooting her point blank.

The bling of a direct hit sounded from Rosa's laser tag vest and it lit up. Hugh gave her a quick peck on the cheek before jogging off down the hallway.

"Love you!" He called, before disappearing around a corner.

"Hugh you son of a- "
