"What's wrong?" Kuro asked watching the screen as he played his game

While Mahiru was fiddling with a piece of a small paper. "I can't get this stupid letter to open" Mahiru grumbled.

. "Huh?" He looked over at his eve. "What with this seal?" Mahiru murmured. "It's probably junk" kuro stated grabbing it from Mahiru and crumpling it up in his hand and starting his game again. "Hm. Ya think? Whatever" Mahiru shrugged and walked away

As soon as he did, he clenched the letter in his hand,

At the stars home

Everyone was doing their own thing, Sakura was working on the computer, naoka was writing, and mikoto was finishing dinner

when Ann noticed a letter in the door, with a strange seal

" what's up?" Mikoto said as Sakura walked out of the study area, and her eyes widened at the letter in the girls hand

" what's this stupid letter?" Ann tried opening it, but couldn't " I can't open it" she muttered

" it's probably junk mail" Sakura says, taking the letter while the littlest sister looked confused " really?"

" yeah, don't worry" she assured " alright" Ann shrugged and went to the room to study, Sakura immediately crumbled the letter and threw it in The trash while the other two watched, understand why she did it

meanwhile in some building, people were walking into a meeting, but what was in the big screen, was Mahiru and kuro, and a small file that said fallen stars, and in that meeting, was a familiar, but at the same time not person in there

At school

"Oh little Kuro here, have some of this egg!"

"Don't you wanna cookie?"

" he's so cute!" Mahuri along with Ann, who was in a wheelchair, Koyuki, yuko and ryusei watched as the three girls fed Kuro giggling and calling him cute.

Mahuri wasn't happy

"Look at this cat. This has to be the best of his nine lives!" Koyuki laughed. "Its almost like he understands what their saying" Ryusei watched them while eating his lunch

While Mahiru glared at the cat, after school

Everyone changed their shoes and were leaving the school

It was the first year of our high school, Sumer break started the next day, Ann's siblings trusted me to get her safely home

Walking through the streets. "What are you gonna do if people figure out that your actually a vampire?" Mahiru asked "Hey don't get all mad just because I'm popular with the ladies" Kuro said while Ann giggled slightly

"I'm not getting mad, what if one of them turns out to be enemy try to get close to" Mahiru muttered

"Bah. How are you both paranoid and too trusting? Forget about it. Just watch me roll around in your hands and be cute and stuff!" Kuro rolling in his hands and trying to be cute.

"Your not helping!!" Mahiru growled, while walking through a neighbourhood, he and Ann could hear music, and a bright smile appeared on their faces, they knew what it was

Time skip

"This takes me back. I remember when we came here with my uncle when we were little! You remember that Ann?" Mahiru looked at her

"Yeah all the tim- where Kuro go?" He looked at his shoulder " kuro? Where'd you go!?" He looked around

They eventually found him, with a lot of food

"How did you manage to get all that food so quickly!!" Mahiru screamed.

"Ugh. Never underestimate a hungry vampire" kuro said

the three just sat against the railing, well Ann was in the wheelchair, plus except Kuro who sat on the railing

"The fireworks are about to start soon.." Mahiru smiled happily

Ann giggled and looked at the night sky awaiting the bright lights. "Excuse me" "Eh?" They all looked up to see a tall man with his white hair swept back and a strange eye patched on his right eyes wearing a white suit.

"I found this case. Someone must have lost it! I'm in a bit of a hurry now. But could you take it to the lost and found for me? I'm afraid I just don't have time to! Please make sure you get it there before the fireworks begin" he handed mahrui a strange silver briefcase.

Ann looked down at it and went to tell the guy something but he was gone

. "Huh?" She muttered looking around the bridge. "I guess it the simplest thing to do.. I'll be right back guys!" Mahiru exclaimed. "I'll come with" Ann called out to him, trying to follow in her wheel chair, but he stops her " then let me push you" he says, placing the case in her lap and pushing her from behind while she pouts " I can move without you pushing me you know" she says

" I know, but it's just simpler that way" he says

The two were walking, or wheeled through the crowd " oh wow, it's so crowded" Mahiru  said, just then someone bumped into him Making fall to the si and looked up to see a super tall blonde, with a short white haired girl

"Sorry" he stated holding his huge hand out, the boy was pulled up and felt a little intimidated by his height

'So tall.... Hm what's that giant box?'

"Okay then well see ya. We're on the look out for someone" he stated

" a friend?" Mahiru asked

"Uh no" He said " i got separated from him" the guy stated looking away.

"Well in that case, you should just page them over the intercom. Simple" Mahiru said

  "That's a good idea, How do we do that?" He asked  softly. "Oh, well we are headed to the lost and found right now so they should be able to help you. Just come along with us!" Ann smiled softly

"Wow. Your a big help... And your kinda cute" He said which she blushed

" oh...w-well thank you" she stuttered while mahuri pouted with his head turned

"The guy I'm looking for is kind of odd, so I'll notice him, if we pass him on the way there" the guy explained. "Okay. Works for me" Mahiru shrugged.

'The shape of that thing...it almost looks like...' mahuri thought " so, about that box" Ann began beating him to it

"Huh? Oh this? Its just a coffin" the guy stated

Both teens froze and looked at each other who had the same exact face then back at the tall guy. "Eh.. And uh why do you have it exactly...?" Mahiru asked nervously. "Uhm well it's like I said. It's a coffin so obviously its for vampires to sleep in.." the guy replied

'Could it be, are this guys another vampire...'

"If you live around here, you'll probably know-"

Boom!!!

Both gasped and turned around in horror and saw a huge explosion

"What the heck?!" Ann screamed falling back as someone bumped and knocked her wheelchair.

Blondie quickly wrapped his arm around her waist and they all watched in horror as the small mushroom cloud disappeared.

Suddenly people around began to scream and panic.

"Whoa what happened!"

"Someone said a bag exploded!"

"It was a silver brief case" both teens eyes widened and looked down at the silver briefcase in Ann's hands.

Ann's eyes widened even more as she remembered the eye patch guys warning. 'Please get it there before the fireworks begin'

'The fireworks start at seven shape, right? Okay calm done! If this is a bomb I can call Kuro and have him take it far away, but what about this guy? Is he in on on it? Is this a trap?!' Mahuri then remembered what Kuro said

' how are you both paranoid and to trusting'

"Listen, would I be right in assuming your a good rational person?!" Mahiru asked them both

"Hm. I guess so.." Blondie muttered

"We may be too trusting but I'd rather give people the benefit of the doubt! If I get tricked I'll worry about it then! Things are simpler that way! " Mahiru exclaimed.

"Mahiru we don't have time for this!!" Ann hissed. "Huh. That's a smart way of thinking" Blondie admitted

Mahiru moved dark wooded area with the brief case "Kuro!!" Mahuri screamed

Kuro popped out of know where and bites mahiru's wrist,

the tall blond was surprised

"You need to get it away from people? The sky will do" Kuro muttered grabbing mahuri and flying up in to the sky, they could here him yelling from the ground

" he's a servamps..."the blond guy muttered, while Ann gasped when he said the word 'What?!'

"Come on! throw it as hard as you can!!" Mahuri exclaimed passing him he briefcase.

Suddenly he threw it up and it barely went above our their heads " that's not going to be high enough! If that thing falls back down on us we're dead!" Mahuri exclaimed

"Meh, this will be fine.. These situations always work out. He bag will Will explode into he air while we watch" Kuro rolled his eyes landing on the top of a bridge yuno flying down to meet them

" it's coming back down!" Mahiru yelled
Got it!"  Blondie guy appeared, and put it in his coffin, Ann behind him in her chair

"What's that gonna do!" The boy exclaimed as he stood a few feet from the two

"Everything's fine now. Just watch, Absolutely nothing can destroy this coffin of mine" He stated

Suddenly the loud boom of a hug firework went off, which made Ann almost jump, but then she realised it was the firework and not the bomb since it blew up inside at the same time of the firework

and nothing had happened.

He set it down and the group watched in awe as steam seeped out the sides.

"Hot springs?" Kuro muttered reading the words on the other side of the coffin. "Who the heck are you?"Mahiru asked. "Tetsu Sendagaya."You may know my family's hot springs resort?"

. "W-Wha?" Suddenly they heard the small whining and groaning of person. "I can't believe you blew up the coffin. Even though I was inside" The door slowly opened and a small bat slowly flew out who collapes when out

"Hugh? You were in there? I've been looking for you everywhere! Thought you disappeared" Tetsu stared down at the bat

Kuro, Ann and Mahiru leaned over and looked at the small bat

"Hugh?" Mahiru muttered. "Huh. Long time no see. This are the SerVamp of pride. Old child" Kuro sighed

Time skip

"Alright Hugh you've had some of my blood. Have you recovered yet or do you need some more?" Tetsu sighed

"I'm fine of course! Don't mistake me for someone who is easily beat! I embody strength! My name is hugh the dark algernon the third! And I am the mightiest of servamps! The true from of pride! Quake and fear before me!"

the small black haired boy in a magicians outfit began to speak, ann points at him while looking looking at kuro, who was a deadpanned look on his face but nods

"Uhm are you sure you completely recovered?" Mahiru asked uncertainly. . "You fool! Weren't you listening to me!!? Or maybe terror is keeping you from thinking straight! In the presence of a furious vampire!!" Hugh screamed.

"Uhm so we can call you Hugh then?" Mahiru asked. "You can call me by my full name human" Hugh huffed "That's way too long" Kuro sighed. "Yes it has been a long time. Sleepy ash. While you were of lazing around, the world fell in to chaos thanks to him" Hugh huffed

"You mean Tsubaki?" Ann asked. "Before we get in to all that. Why don't I tell you the story of how I met up with Tetsu here!" Hugh grinned jumping down from the coffin and steeling a pocky.

"Why would we care?" Mahiru asked while he ignored him. "I had followed the scent of some big quality blood to a hot springs in where I intended to find a person worth of being prides  eve. He had greeted me pleasantly at the front door like a true servant. Tetsu may be young but he's got top notch blood and physical strength as well as common sense! We were a perfect match!" Hugh bragged.

"Young huh? I don't know if I'd call him that but I guess when your an ageless vampire all humans seem like kids" Mahiru chuckled.

"Tetsu's only fourteen years old" Hugh explained

"Fourteen years old? Your in middle school!?" Mahiru yelped

" second year" the blond boy showed two fingered

"And here I was thinking you were a college student! " Mahiru exclaimed.

"Observe! My weapon proves just how great potential he has as an eve!!" Hugh exclaimed. "This coffin is your weapon?!" Ann exclaimed

"Yeah, I don't know how to get rid of it so I figured I could use it as a free advertisement" Tetsu shrugged

The two sweat drop " that's actually pretty smart" mahuri commented

"Well of the customers a vampire then its my job as an in keeper to prepare a dark room for them. That's just good business! Tourist destinations don't do well if there's fighting so I do everything I can to keep the peace between human and vampires" Tetsu explained.

The two smile slightly

"no question about it. This was the work of one of Tsubaki's men" Hugh sighed, Ann's eyes widened and long with mahiru's

"How are you sure?" Mahiru asked. " I have more subclasses than any other SerVamp because I like to stay well informed about the world" he said

" we couldn't get in contact with any of your sisters I'm afraid, so we weren't at ease until I caught your sent today" hugh says while looking at Ann

" I could smell your blood from the wound on your back" she flinched when he mentioned her wound

" y-yeah...I wasn't really prepared when I was attacked..." she stuttered

" oh you poor dear" he says sympathetically " if pride were there you'd be unharmed, anyway" he clears his throat "We were on high alert today because of certain information that we had received earlier. It would probably be best for all of us to stay in contact and help each other out. We can face Tsubaki together" Hugh explained.

"Your probably right" Ann muttered biting on her lip nervously. "This is such a to do" Kuro grumbled, while the girl elbowed him, he was also clenching the letter in his pocket

"But be warned. Tsubaki isn't the only player here. There are other enemies that we must watch out for" Hugh stated staring at them.

Few minutes later

"So Misano, Tetsu, and that traveling antique dealer. And you too Ann, and your sisters." Mahuri said

"Right that make 3 eves. And four stars.. I hope. The other eve and SerVamp will work us you too" she said as Kuro yawned

"How are you tired?" Mahuri asked softly looking over his shoulder Suddenly the elevator doors open and a hand yanked him in to the elevator, Ann yelped as her wheel chair was knocked over and Kuro fell of the eves shoulder

"Mahiru?..." he glared at the elevator

Ann gasped when she felt something hit her neck, which turned out to be a tranquilliser dart, her eyelids get heavy and she fell unconscious, lucky Kuro caught her head " Ann!"

the door opened again; two were present inside, one with a gun, pointed right at him, and another landing on his shoulders " haha! Looks like I'm gonna take in some serious cash!" He smirked

Meanwhile

Mahiru sat at a table with an orange soda and another can that said bozz ( might be an aalcoholic drink, I don't know 🤷‍♀️)

" where am I?" He mutterd  "Most potential problems are easily avoided" He turned his head to the persons voice and saw a familiar pranged haired person sitting not far from him "I'm sure You must be thirsty. Please help yourself I've prepared this spread especially for you"

"If you'd prefer something else I can have other options brought in" he sighed fixing his glasses

  "No thanks I'm okay. dont I know you?" mahuri asked, he then remembered the person who he bumped into "I'm Tsuyaki and I work for a group called C3. We're a neutral party between humans and vampires" orange haired explained.

" neutral party?..."

"Yes, I'm your ally. mahrui Shirota. I apologize for the unusual way that we brought you here but it couldn't be helped. There's an important question which we must have an answer. Will you work with us? Will you help us stop Tsubaki?" He asked drinking his drink as I stood up and looked at him

. "Um, Hold in a sec, This is all really sudden"mahrui said "One of C3's top priorities is to create harmony between vampires and humans. And to look out for the stars To ensure peace. As you can imagine. Tsubaki's existence is a threat to that mission and in order to guarantee success. So we need all the power we can get on our side. That's why we have brought you here today. We'd like your SerVamp to work with us" Tsuyaki explained.

"You should ask him about is the next time you see him. I'm sure he knows all about us" he said

"Really?" Mahiru questioned

"Our goals are the same mahrui. There is no reason to refuse this partnership"

" sure but...I need to Kuro about it" his eyes darken " how can you be running an organization if your a high school student?" Mahuri asked

"I'm 22 years old. I'm an adult" he stated.

"But I saw you at my school!" mahrui said

" I was only there to come in contact with you. It was all apart of my preparation"

'I thought he was just a a year above me, when did I get back at telling people's ages?..'

"It's our responsibility to capture Tsubaki and get him off the streets. You see he used to he a SerVamp that C3 was ... Using in their research"

"What do you mean?" Mahuri narrows his eyes

"It was before I joined the organization so I wasn't actually involved. I've only read about it in the archives" he explained.

"Wait! Hold on a minute! Back up a little! Your saying Tsubaki was a part of C3?!" Mahrui shouted

"I'll tell you all the details when you agree to dedicate yourself to working with us. Again there is no reason to deny" he drank tea again

"Tsubaki has been getting out of control and we have taken much to long to prepare an offense. We must ban together to break Tsubaki of his subclasses. There is simply no other way Mahiru" he explained whole mahrui clenched his fist

. "Break them.....? you mean murder them.
Then Sorry I can't help you. One of those subclasses is My best friend! And i promised I'd save him!" He glared angrily. "Your speaking about Sakuya correct?" His eyes widened

"You...you know?"

"Yes. In order to prepare for our little meeting today I looked through the information we had collected on you" Tsuyaki muttered

"What?!"

"It's time to stop acting like a applied child and start being mature about this" he spat.

Mahrui eyes widened and his eyebrow twitch slightly.

"Trust the adults and the good people working at C3 to improve society. Your personal feeling have no place in this matter!" He scolded

"What makes you know what's best...sitting there drinking black coffee and calling me a child doesn't make you mature! And if adults murder!" He grabbed the orange soda " then I'll stay a kid who likes drinking orange soda!" He started drinking it down while the guy sipped his coffee

"I see. And I understand. You have the right to refuse us-" " yeah I do" mahuri cuts off, putting down the empty can " see ya, I need to be somewhere" but stops at then many doors labelled with numbered

"However. There's a total of 52 doors in this room and I'm afraid only one of them leads outside. Please feel free to see yourself out. I'd hurry up though or you'll never see sloth again, or you'll miss tanaka"

Mahri gasped. "WHAT?! WHERE'S KURO?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!!" He hollered angrily

" the stars hold too much power, either they work with us by their own free will, or we'll have no choice, but to make sure that nobody comes in contact with them again, even if it means coming to something as cruel as death" his eyes widened " what?..."

With Kuro and Ann

Kuro booked it down the street dodging bullets from here and there, while carrying Ann in his arms, who was still unconscious

when suddenly one hit him right in the shoulder. "Argh!" He fell back and gripped his shoulder

Suddenly spikes flew up and he jumped to his feet and jumped away as they appeared beneath him,

"Whoops! Your one slippery target cat!" The insane brunette called " and might i say, what a lovely little star you have" he smirked

Which the vampire glared

Someone else with pinkish hair was rubbing in the ground " sorry Tsurugi! My coordinates were a little off!" He yelled " it's fine! You've been out of the field for a while, and you've gotten fat raising that new kid of yours!"

"Come on! I barely gained any weight!" The guy complained

Suddenly Kuro was kicked in the back, Ducking down he avoided one of the blows but he brought down his other foot and kicked him harshly across the face causing blood to shoot out of my cheek a bit, he held Ann protectively while Flying back he groaned and slowly sat up painfully

" Tsurugi! Stop the useless chatter and focas!" A long haired blond guy glared holding the gun" hehe, sure apologies yumi" the crazy guy turned to him

"Oh I get it! Your from C3" kuro hissed wiping his mouth

"Tsurugi Kamiya! Age 26! I'm the kind of scum who would kill his whole family if the prices was right! Seriously! I'll lick your boots right now if pay me to do it!-" "Would you please shut up!" The guys with a blonde ponytail behind Tsurugi growled.

Tsurugi just laughed and Kuro glared up at them.

"If you would have came when you got that letter then we wouldn't have had to go through all this trouble! Its your own fault" blondie hissed at the servamp " now hand her over before something bad happens"

The vampire glared, while clenching ann tightly " never gonna happen..."

" fine then, you leave us no choice..." the crazy one was about to take her from him, when all of a sudden her eyes open, surprising him

" Ann..." Kuro gasped, she glared at the agents, He gasped as she sent the guy flying

Kuro stared while she got up painfully, pulling him with her " come on...." She says weakly, still weak in the legs

" Tsurugi!" The ponytail guy exclaimed while the other guy was still in shock at what he saw, The guy on the ground groans, but sits up grinning" I like this girl! She's fun!" He laughs, jumping up and they run after them

Back at c3

"What are you doing to them? Where are they?" Mahrui glared

"Your SerVamp and probably your friend are currently with expert vampire and magic hunters. The most talented team that C3 has. I am positive they are giving sloth and white star some exercise" he states

" vampire hunters? Seriously?"

With the group

They start running down a ally, dogging the bullets while Ann deflect them with her wind power, while the crazy one runs across the wall

"do you have to run away? I should ask for a bonus on top of my flat break!" He smirked .

C3

"Vampires have a different name for the hunters, They call them the mad dogs of C3" he said.

Mahiru glared at him and turned and and picked a random door ' Kuro...Ann...i have to get to them!!' He books it down the hallway only to come out a door " this way!" back in the big white room.

"Welcome back Mahiru." Tsuyaki greeted, while mahrui sighs in dismay "At this rate it will most likely take you all day to find your way out. Do you know the maximum limit of an eve and a SerVamp?" Tsuyaki asked reading a book.

He looked up confused

"If you stay apart from each other for too long you'll start to feel pretty sick. Eventually you'll die from the separation!" He hummed in amusement

"Huh?!... I'm gonna kill that lazy cat myself! How could he forget to tell me something this important?!" He growled

"You only have two options here. You can find the way out yourself or you could agree to work with us and hand over miss tanaka" Tsuyaki said holding up two fingers

"Why the hell would I work with someone who's putting me through crap like this and make my friend a slave to them or kill her?!" He yelled, Running to another door and doing the same thing over and over and over again

"  have teenagers always been this childish?" Tsuyaki sighs " surely I was never like this"

Back with the two

They fall down a steep hill. "Argh damnit!" Kuro groaned before quickly jumping to his feet, grabbing ann and running again along the lakeside

"Your just wasting you time trying to get away from us! I mean we do have your eve in our care! We have the upper hand right now!" Insane brunette yelled, Kuro and yuno froze and turned to look at him.

'Mahiru?!' Suddenly They walked in to a trap, metal rods sticking out of the ground around them

Ann tried to lift them, but she was still weak from her injury

With Mahiru

He was panting exhausted, and there were still doors that were not checked through

"Now then. Are you ready to act like an adult and make the right decision?" Tsuyaki said

"Decision?"mahiru muttered ' all of this, is to force me to work with them, they prepared this elaborate trap so I have no other choice, I have to comply, but is there one way to get out of here? Only one way to save them?' He had an idea when looking at the ceiling

" you must realise  the only option you have is to listen to us, to join our cause and give up Ann tanaka, you don't have much of a choice"

"Your actually right about one thing! My choice is simple!" Mahiru yelled, he pulled off his wrist band, and summoned his lead '  the so called adults may have prepared  a correct answer' he placed his hand on The ground and his body upwards ' but I've got a better idea!' His legs spread out and started spinning

" what are you-break dancing?" Tsuyaki glared ' Kuro and I will decide what to do on our on! I will protect ann! I don't care!' Every memory of their life's together flashed before him, and even when she got attacked by vampires

' I won't loose her! she's always putting herself in harms way! This time! I will protect her!'

Tsuyaki pulls out a gun and aims it at mahrui, mahrui yells as it gets more intense and a mini Tornado forms, bursting though the ceiling, creating an opening

"Unfortunately you found it... Another way out. Let me warn you about something mahrui. You trust that SerVamps and that star, but you shouldn't. They will be your down fall. Those things are not your friends! Their vampires and all they do is suck the lives out of people!..that girl has lied about who she is! What she is! Right to your face! Yet you still trust her! Every vampire must be broken! Tsubaki is just the beginning!! Then that star! Then the rest!!" Tsuyaki shook his eyes a bit glossy

"You want them broken...why do you keep using that word? Why do you want to Break them? Maybe you've never seen a vampire rolling around on the floor playing video games and eating junk food...Or a vampire apologizing for killing while crying tears of regret...and you don't know Ann and her sisters like I do, I know the type of people they are....ann always helps people...and even hurt herself in the process...but will smile to know as long as their okay" His mind wander to Kuro, then Sakuya, then yuno

" and her sisters just want to leave normal lives like normal people, their just like us" and the sisters

"Or a vampire who just wants to be left alone but he'll still save the life of a human and witch he just met. I've been around many vampires, and Ann's family, lately and believe me not all of them are bad, in fact some of them are new friends" orange head seemed confused

" I don't know what history c3 has with vampires and the stars, or what your trying to do, but thinking simply I want to keep anyone from getting hurt, human or vampire, or whatever" Mahiru was about to leave on his lead when he heard

"There's someone I know....his father was murdered by vampires..."mahuri looked back shocked " even after ten years then pain hasn't gone away..." he didn't know what to say "no...never mind..." Tsuyaki shook his head, then collapsed on his knees

Mahrui looks sadly back, but continued his mission to save his friends

After some time he saw Kuro and Ann trapped in a strange cage of some sort with a creep guy/ tsuragi walking up to him

" I don't t wanna deal with this..." Kuro muttered

" guys!" They looked up and saw marhiru heading their way in his lead, Kuro wrapped an arm around Ann, while stretching his arm up for Mahiru to grab and pull him, along with the girl holding the servamp away while the vampire hunters watch

"What should we do? Chase them?" tsuragi Asked, just then the guy with the ponytail got a call " hello....yeah understood...." he then Hung up " that's it, we're done here" he says to the other two " oh man, I really thought we might earn a bonus tonight" tsuragi whined

"Well at least none of us got hurt" the pink haired guy said " we should get some food"

" one two three not buying!"

" what?! I'm not buying you guys dinner!"

In the air

'Thinking in simple terms, you don't have to have an excuse to help people' Mahiru thought

' but if you hate someone, if you hurt another person, you must have a reason' he slightly held Ann's hand, while her arms were around his waist, with her head buried in his back

Kuro hopped out and sat behind her arms were crossed leaning on her head

"I want to know Tsubaki's reason," Mahiru said

after a while of flying in silence. But then they went straight down.

"Don't act cool when you can't even control your broom!" Kuro shouted, while Ann yelped in fear

" I thought I was getting good at this!" Mahrui yelled, the eve and the star yelled as they pasted a big scene, the bird too

with a boy with dark hair and a white Streak playing the piano

He then Stopped, sniffing the air " well..." he then smirks " I smell a star..."

Mahiru and Kuro too Ann home, having to apologise for the missing wheelchair and promising to return it tomorrow " no problem, don't worry about it" mikoto assured " it seems she's beginning to walk again anyways" she says while looking at the girl with an amused smirk while Ann laughs nervously

" well anyway see you guys at the meeting" Mahiru waved before he and Kuro walked off

" bye!" The two wave

" it's getting late...," Ann commented looking at the sky.

" let's get inside" mikoto says

Her and Ann began to walk up the stairs to their apartment when something in a bush caught Ann's eye.

Making mikoto stop and turn "Ann? What you doing?"

"Huh? What are you doing here little guy?" Ann bent down to get a closer look at the animal

A tiny hedgehog.

The hedgehog looked at her. 'An angel?' It thought

Ann noticed that the poor thing was hurt and reached out to it but its spikes came out, making her flinch

"It's okay, I'm here to help," she said.

The hedgehog let her rub him and she carefully picked him up. "What are you doing?" Mikoto asked

"I'm helping him," Ann responded " he's hurt"

The two walk inside house the apartment " hello?" Mikoto calls out to see if anyone was home, but got no reply " yep they're not back yet" she sighs

Ann sat down at the table since she was still tired and weak and put the hedgehog on her lap. "Can you hand me the first aid kit sis?"

" sure" she nods and walked towards the bathroom, returning and handing Ann the kit she requested, Then Walking off to do her own thing

Ann carefully wrapped the hedgehog injured paw while soothing it.

The whole time, the hedgehog was looking at her with curious eyes "There, all done. I'm glad I help you little hedgehog. You are just too adorable!" Ann pet it's head.

Then all of a sudden Poof!

"Oh my dearest Juliet! I am thankful for you help And the lovely compliment you've graced me with," a person said

The hedgehog was now a person...or rather a vampire.... he had blonde hair and black tips, red glasses and crimson eyes.

He was also holding Ann's hand

"AHHHHH!!!!!!!" Ann screamed a literally punching the the stranger off her, mikoto raised in alarm when she heard her sister scream " who's attacking!" She fumed with rage when she saw the stranger

And jumped in front of her sister to protect her

"Oh Juliet! Your words wound me!" The man clutched his chest as if it hurted then ran over to ann grabbing her hands and getting on one knee.

"No matter how much you hurt me my dear Juliet, I'll always love you. We were just meant to be!"

"WHAT?!"

"Paws off!" Mikoto swung her electric hand at the blonde male but he stopped it with his sword making her growl.
The blonde chuckled deeply and fixed his red glasses

"So the rumors were indeed true about the stars being in Japan You must be the
Yellow star, and, and the white star," he said

"Who are you?!" Ann while holding behind mikoto "I'm the fifth Servamp. Lawless of Greed but you can call me Lawly, Leading Man, or whatever you want okay?!" he said excited

' this guys an idiot..." mikoto deadpanned

"Okay Lawless, I a-"

"I do prefer you call me Romeo my Juliet."

"How about she calls you Creepy instead?!" Mikoto yelled

"Noooo!"

"Then be quiet!"

"You two are too much for me."

"Be quiet! Now, as I was saying, I'm Ann and this is my sister mikoto. Do you have an Eve?-" "WHERE ARE YOU ROTTEN HEDGEHOG?!!!" They flinched when They hear someone shouting from outside .

"I do. That's my Angel cakes calling now right now! I hate to leave but duty calls! Till next time my Juliet and sister of my Juliet!" He kissed her hand, making her blush as he bid farewell before jumped out the window

Ann gasped and hurried to the window to find him gone
