Ann groans in her sleep to the sound of the vacuum cleaner mikoto was using to clean the floor, she then turns it off and moves her bed curtain Aside " Ann come on get up" she says, picking up the vacuum and moving it to her side " vacuum your side of the room" she says then takes the dirty sheets " then strip the bed cause I'm washing the sheets, oh I'm doing the futons too"

Ann groans opening her eyes, and lifts herself up a little " heh where's naoka?" She called out

" she left hours ago!"

After she washed everything, she placed the laundry out to dry, Ann was at the table eating her breakfast

" clear the table once your done then take sakuras lunch over to her at the library" mikoto says as she walks pass " hey" Ann says groaning while trying to eat

" what do you mean hey?" She says mockingly while doing something to the washing machine " your going to the library already"

Ann focused eating her food " or do you want me to go instead" Ann looks over at her

" then You can clean the toilet, the bathroom and the entry way" hands on her hips " the n you can go to the grocery store"

Ann starts eating fast as mikoto listened " told the laundry, make the beds and cook dinner, how does that sound?" Ann Quickly finishes the miso soup and collects her plates, together and rushing to the sink, she places the lunch box in her the carrier bag, and bolts for the door " see you later!" She yells, then sighs when she closes the door

Rushing down the stairs, she was about to leave when she heard " Ann!" She flinched and looked back to see mikoto waving something in her hand from their floor " put this in the mailbox for me!"

Ann runs back only below her " what is it!?"

" it's mail stupid!" Mikoto chucks it down, Ann Runs back and forth trying to catch the Letters with the clip, she finally catches them and looks " you don't need to read it!" She grins hiding her mouth behind the letter " can't you just put it in the mail box?"

"It's a love letter isn't it" Ann waved mockingly then takes off as mikoto "Shut up!" yells and walks into the apartment

Ann arrives at the station, she places the mail in the mailbox for mikoto, then walks into the station, taking a seat as the train starts to move, she turns her head and looks out the window

She heard the sound of the pa announcing the next stop, she looked back and out of the corner of her eye, she saw a tiny kitten hid g under the seat, it then crawled out and jumped into the seat next to her

She looked at it for a second before smiling and talking " hey little one, you here all alone?" No response "So where you headed? You here all alone?" She asked, the cat was too busy looking out the window, as if it's looking for something
"Ohhh the silent treatment" she smiles turning her head jokingly, She could then see her stop coming up" This is my stop how about you?"

The train then stops and the doors open, people started getting off so Ann got up " Bye kitty"

She walks out, as she does the cat gets up, and rushes past her, surprising her, it turned his head to her, meowing, then running off down the stairs " hey!"

She follows after it, in the process not knowing she lost her hat, not only that but not noticing the person on the hood following her, she runs out the exit, loosing sight of the cat, she looks around and sees it about to cross the road " he's heading in the direction of the library!" She runs after it as it along with people cross the road, the person following her loosing sight of her in the crowd, grunting

She crosses the road and looks around for the cat, but had no luck " aww, and I thought that cat was leading me some place, but apparently I've been tricked"

So she continued on her journey to the library, waking up the path as cars drove by, she climbs up the stairs, but before she went in, down below, she sees the cat again " hey!" She goes around and starts following again from where she was, she goes over the personal sign, down the steps she keeps an eye on where it's going, saw a door ahead but couldn't open it, so climbs over, seeing the cat ahead of her, it looked at her and meowed, she throws over her book bag, and places the carrier bag on the ledge, climbing up, the bag stats to hall " Ahh!"

Thankfully nothing spilt, she gathered her things and follows after the cat down a narrow pathway " what a steep climb" she pants " how far does this go?"

She finally made it to the top, she looks down a street of houses but doesn't see it anywhere " here kitty" she calls out " here kitty" she walks down the path " he must be here somewhere" she continued walking until she was at a ledge looking over the houses and seeing the city
She hears barking and turns around to see the cat again" hey!" She rushes after it " Ahh!" She yells when a car passes " hey! Where you going you crazy cat! You live around here?!" She asks while it walked along the top of a wall, then a fence

She comes towards the end " ah ha!" She jumps to a stop in front of the wall at the end of the path where it should have come to, but the cat is gone again " what the heck?! That cat is magic!" She pants

She looks around and finds herself in a lovely neighbourhood

" what a gorgeous neighbourhood, I never knew there was a such a place up here" she murmured  to herself

She heard barking and saw the cat above the dog that was barking " no way, it came here to tease that dog?" She frowned, it started moving again, the dog still barking at it " maybe it's tricking me too"

She then watched it look at her, meowing before proceeding to go into an antique shop " he's going into a shop?" She follows it inside

It was filled with all sorts of things, old but beautiful furniture " I didn't know there were still stores like this"

She then noticed a certain item on a table, it looked like something was shining int he cracks " what's that?" She the heard shuffling and saw an elderly man " oh hello there" he greeted

" I'm sorry" she says

" no please, it's good to have visitor, look around as much as you like, it gets boring around here sometimes"  he says walking on her direction with a stool

" really, this shop doesn't seem boring" she says

" how nice of you, but it does sometimes" he says walking to an old clock, he places it down and starts climbing it, it starts to rock so she rushes over and supposed it " oh thank you" he says " but it's okay, I do stuff like this all the time"

" beautiful clock" Ann says

" it was found in an old abandoned castle, all covered in rust" he shows something in his hand, it looked like part of the clock, a gear shaped like a person, of a young man, it was colourful and very lovely  " beautiful" Ann smiled " so what does it do?" She asked

He chuckled " it might not do anything, I just finished restoring it" he puts it into the clock, then winds up key " I haven't tried it out yet"

Ann watches in awe as it ticks, the old man turns it to  close to twelve o'clock, then closes the glass door, the clock the starts playing music, Ann gasped with a smile, She then sees the bottom opening and reveals little figures of dwarfs mining gens " wow! Dwarfs in a mine, just like a fairy tail!"

The old man kneels down "you like
Fairy tails?" He asked " this clock had a terribly romantic fairy tail that goes with it" he said

he gets up " look towards the clock face, atleast I hope something happens" the clock strikes twelve and a hole opens up revealing the piece of the young man the old man paced in the clock, the sheep about golds away, and a female figures appeared on the top " what is it?" Ann asked trying to look

" here climb up, You'll get a better look" the old man says gesturing to the stool " okay" Ann climbs and sees the female is a beautiful fairy " it's a fairy!"

" that's right, but soon she will turn back into a sheep" the old man says, Ann looks at the two pieces staring at one another " their in love aren't they?" She asked feeling something

" but their always apart, he's Prince of the dwarfs, and lives underground, while she is cursed to live as a sheep, only when the clock strikes twelve, is she a fairy" he says as the fairy disappears and runs back into a sheep " so the prince appeared at that exact time to see the girl he fell in love with" the prince then Disappeared  " what do you bet, that the person who made this, was separated form the one they loved"

" that's must be why their sadness is so real" Ann murmurs " the clock then ticks and she gasps " that clock isn't on time is it?" She asked in a panic " no it's five minutes too slow" he says " oh no!" She exclaimed gathering her things

" I have to get to the library!" She exclaimed running out, she pokes her head back inside "  I'm sorry! Do you mind if I come again some time?" She asked " sure, but it's better to go left to get to the library!" He says then flinched when she yelps

She takes off running, she Almsot went the wrong way, if she hadn't stopped herself and put herself on the correct path, she turns and runs down a flight of stairs " there it is!" She exclaimed " that place was absolutely wonderful!"

She jumps and skips across the road " that was amazing!" She giggled

Just as she was about to run up the stairs

" hey Ann!" She looked back and saw Sakuya about to walk past" isn't this your hat?" She yelped when she noticed her hat In His hand and found her hat wasn't on her head, she rushes down " your so forgetful" he chuckled handing her hat over " how'd you get this?" She asked as he starts walking away " you dropped it by the station, by the way, That looks like a large lunch in that bag" he says smirking while walking off

She looks dumbfounded, before gaping and looking at the bag " hey!" She shouts looking at the direction he was running in " see ya!" He yelled

" it's my sisters you jerk Sakuya!!!" She shouts

Inside Sakura was placing books back on shelf's, she then noticed Ann, she hands her the luck with a little pout on her face " what's wrong?" Sakura asked getting down " it's hard to explain" Ann says

" and?" Sakura asked

" I was having an extraordinary day, like in a fairy tail, then I ran into Sakuya and he says something that makes me mad that ruined it all" she turns her head away as her sister laughed " sounds complicated" they two walk together " are you gonna check out some books today?" She asked

" yep, I've got seven left on my list to gather" she says

" you never stop reading" Sakura smiles " you want to get lunch with me?" She asked

" I'll eat later" she says

"Alright, see ya" Sakura then walks away as Ann turned to get some books

Time skip

" so this is the girl who's the white star, Ann tanaka" misono says examining the photo placed on the table, he couldn't deny he found her cute

" the white star is the most treasured, so she is our top priority, you should bring her here when you get the chance" he says " and there's another thing we have to address" he says

" what else?" Mahiru asked " your weapon" misono says the turns to Kuro "I am completely astounded by your laziness. You haven't even given your eve a weapon yet! You live up to your title sloth" misono sighed as Kuro sat in on the table, obviously in cat form.

"Hm? That's Right. Why haven't you given me a weapon yet Kuro? " mahuri asked, looked down at him."What's the point in doing something so troublesome . wouldn't you two rather just look at how cute I am!" Kuro cooed rolling on his back happily."Your not that cute!"

"I have a lot to learn, I barely know anything about vampires or what I should be doing as an eve or how to protect Ann" flashes of when ryusei got bit

"What I do know that there are people I want to keep safe, I can't sit back and do nothing if vampires are attacking humans" Kuro then sighs

"Do your really thing you need a weapon?" He asked

"If it gives me the power to protect others, yeah of course" Mahiru nods

"Wait a sec... What's about to happen? Aren't you going to explain things first?"

'BANG'

a large confetti can went off, flying all over him and landing in his hair.

looking around the dark gray blue world that had scribbles everywhere and small birthday party set up.

Finally looking in front and saw a creepy black cat standing on its hind legs with pink facial features."Welcome! Happy birthday!" It cooed its voice dark and echoey.

"Happy birthday! Your inside of Kuro now" It repeated ."Come on! Follow me!" The cat ran off, mahuri followed after it."Your here for something right? Your very own birthday present!" The cat exclaimed as mahuri looked around

."uh. My birthdays a ways off- wait your talking about a weapon aren? Who are you?" He asked in confusion."I'm another part of Kuro! I'm in charge of his power!" The cat explained slipping around in front of me.

."Now it is time for you to chose your fate! Unwrap which ever one you like" the cat smiled gesturing to a huge pile of presents

."Out of all of those?" He panicked as the cat held up a beautiful cake that had my name frosted to the front in it."Yes happy birthday mahuri. Pick any box and obtain your very own power. Though you must know that you may not return it once you have already opened it"  the cat smiled.

"But you will become a stronger person who can't protect others like Ann and not depend on anyone but us" the cat quickly added smirking as he said

."Oh man... This is so hard" mahuri
muttered."Choose very carefully the ending will be the same no matter what routes for you to take. But what is important is that your choice will reflect who you really are as a person." He found the smallest box that was white  with a red bow

." Well on that case, I'll take the simplest looking one, when he touched the box, I'd dissolve and formed what looked like a broomstick

"Well, you pick the broomstick" Kuro says as mahuri was brought back to reality

"A fitting weapon for a commoner" misono says "Now that I think about it, you tried to attack me with a mop the first time you saw me In this form. What's the deal? Do you have a weird thing about using cleaning supplies as weapons?" Kuro asked as the broom flew in a circle pattern

"No of course not" Mahuri said, it then flew down and, turning blue turning into what looked like a tattoo around his wrist "Like A tattoo? What the hell?" He muttered examining it

"I don't get how this thing is a weapon, how will I be able to fight with it?" He muttered

At some restaurant

"You can't put a plate back on the belt once you've touched it, berukia" tsubaki said as his subclass was about to put a plate back on the conveyor

"What, seriously? This stupid place has too many rules more importantly" he grumbled, eating what was on the plate, meanwhile someone was dragging something with him to the restaurant they were eating at "tsu tsu isn't that joker a little late? How long are we going to have to wait?" Just then the person they were waiting for arrived in the doorway

"Look. Not very long at all" tsubaki smirked "Hi, sir anywhe-" the owner along with the customers gasped when they saw his state, covered in blood, and dragging a person body

"Looks like someone is in a bad mood"

"Let's get outta here" one guy says in a panic "Wait for me!" His buddy runs after him "tsubaki, you called?" The guy with blood asked "Why don't you explain what you're holding first?" Tsubaki questioned "I'm pretty sure this guy was following me around earlier, especially since I was following the white star" they said, dropping the body

"He might be someones subclass" tsubaki says "Who knows" they shrugged "Aren't you afraid someone from school might see your current state? It'd be pretty obvious that you're a vampire right?" Tsubaki smirked "Sakuya?" He asked while the teen licked the blood off his fingers  "That doesn't matter to me anymore. They're Liars. That's just something I can't stand" he glared downwards

At the mansion

"And now I awaken my power!" Mahiru yelled, but just like before, nothing..."Why is it anything happening?!" He exclaimed

"You need to be able to pull that weapon out at Will before you can start learning how to fight" misono says

"Hey, Kuro, is there like, a trick to this or what?" Mahuri  asked his SerVamp "I'm busy. Don't talk to me until you can summon it" he responded, playing a video game "Ugh!" Mahiru grumbled

"Mahiru dear, why don't you try focusing on exactly why you wanted this power to begin with, let that thought guide you" he said

"But how will that help?" He asked

"Your SerVamp Lacks motivation because you like resolve, that you would like together" misono explained

"If Kuro acts based on how I'm feeling, does that mean Lilly keeps trying to strip because you secretly want to?!" Marlo exclaimed

"No, it's because he's a damn pervert!" Misono exclaimed blushing while pointing at lily next to him who was removing his sleeve

"Focus on why I want to power. Okay. Because I want to protect others. Everyone I possibly can. Especially my friends..."They've been family to me since I was little. Since I don't have parents I probably value my friends more than most. Hey we should introduce you to them,misono! There's ryusei, Koyuki, yuko, Ann obviously, But Sakuya Has to be the first. He is my oldest friend!

"You can't. You just be getting your friends involved. And besides tsubaki is the only reason we are connected to each other in the first place" misono mumbles

"That's not true. There is no reason we can't all get along, our old friends and our new friend. I want to keep everyone important to be safe, my friends and family number to what we face, will take them down! Right?kuro?" Mahuri said turning to him

Don't know why you're asking me, you're in charge. I'll do what you say, Q or protect whoever you order me two that's the job of a SerVamp

"Oh come on Kuro, don't you even care a little?" Just then he thought he felt something and a small flash from his tatto "Huh? What was that?"

"Ah. Must have be-" suddenly Misano's head dropped and the clock struck the next hour, while the two eves began to worry "Misono?" Mahiru called out

he began snoring."Oh I didn't realize it was so late! He always falls asleep st nine of the dot" lily sighed

." like a little kid?" Mahuri asked furrowing his eyebrows."Well why don't we pick this back up tomorrow?" Lily chuckled  " yeah. Sounds good, thanks for all the help and advice, both of you" Mahiru smiled slightly looking at the purple haired boy

"Our pleasure" lily smiled

At school next day

"huh? Sakuya's out again today?"Ann looking up at the name of the green haired boy was mentioned

"I know, its unusual for him to be missing classes in a row" Koyuki says."Maybe he's got some kind of cold and is stuck in bed" Ryusei shrugged

"I did call him yesterday, But no one answered the phone at his place, I wanted him to try on this uniform" Mahiru said pulling out the butler costume he'd been working on

"Is that a butler costume?" Koyuki asked "Whoa! Did you make that?" Followed by ryusei "Your so crafty mahuri" yuko smiled

"This is going to kill it the festival" ryusei grins "Sakuya Will flip when he sees it" Ann said

"Hopefully" Mahiru shrugged "I'll stop by later on this house on the way home after school and let him know" he says, getting an approved nod from Koyuki 

After school

Mahiru stopped at a store to get something healthy for Sakuya to eat, then left the store on her way to his place

"Are there any chips " Kuro asked while trying to peek inside " bad cat, this is for Sakuya" Mahiru says

"Sakuya is the one always telling stories and has weird hair right? The one we saw the other day?" Kuro asked "I don't think he'd get along with that stuck up brat" he states ."Stuck up brat? You mean Misano?" Mahiru hummed before quickly running again

"Yes. Say how do you know this Sakuya again?" Kuro asked

."We were childhood friends he was with me when our parents died...we've been friends since elementary..." just then ther was a weird staticky feeling in his head

" or wait was it middle school..." he tried to remember, but something felt wrong " Sakuya lost both his parents just like me.." he then paused for a moment

"..wait....how did they die again?...I should know" he stopped walking and placed a hand on her forehead

" and where does he live...why can't I remember?...his address...I've gone with mahuri so many times....When was the last time I went there?...'

"What am I saying, we've Known each other since we've been kids after all of you" she started to feel a pain in her head "Are you okay?" Kuro asked

"Why is my head hurting? We were inseparable!" He then Felt something crack

"This Sakuya...who is he again" he wondered in shock

He then noticed Ann was there ' Ann?' He hid behind a tree and gasped when he saw she was talking to Sakuya ' what she doing here? And with Sakuya?'

"What are you doing, all the way out here?"he asked her

"Sakuya, you scared me! But more importantly Where have you been!?" She Said " everyone's been worried!"

."I can explain," he started. " after I left Mahiru when we met up, at The station, a vampire totally attacked me! So I holed up at home! Scared!" She looked shocked as did mahiru ' he got attacked?!'

Kuro looked at him suspiciously

"Soooooo.. so how much do you wanna bet I made that up on the fly?"  He smirked

"You and your stupid stories! I'm serious!" She yelled " sometimes I wished you'd act a little serious" she said

Just then a scream broke out. She turned her head to the sound of a woman screaming " someone's in trouble!-"

" Ann, this way" Just then he grabbed her wrist and pulled her arm and dragged her into the alley with him "Hey! Sakuya! What are you doing?!" She exclaimed

Mahiru gasped and followed after then

" stop!" She yelled but he refused to listen
."Relax. I'm.. your friend. I would never do anything to hurt you." slowing down as the two reached the end of the alley.

He had stopped further up than her, keeping his gaze ahead of him "Sakuya?" Anyone could hear the nervous tone in her voice, "Where are we?"

"Be honest Ann. Do you trust me? If you trusted me you wouldn't lie to me, not ever"

" Sakuya?...your being weird..why are you trying to say?" She asked

" there's one thing I have to know..." she grew confused " how much of our relationship was a lie, or was our entire friendship a complete sham"

Suddenly She was lifted from the ground shrieking as strings ties around her body so tightly she could barely move, and

Suddenly two swords dropped and they landed on either side of her ."help!" She yelled trying to move in the wires but they just tightened.

Just then they heard the sound of someone yelling and footsteps running towards them.

Mahiru coming this way. "Ann!" He yelled, "I heard a scream and came looking for you!" Kuro was on his shoulder pretty much looking like he was about to fall asleep

" Mahiru?!"

Before he could make it a step closer, two swords slammed into the ground by his feet, temporarily keeping him from moving.

."Now for the applause! This spectacular is about to begin! Featuring the white star!" The familiar pink haired vampire cooed as he jumped from the building where he had been staring down at us.

" not this guy again!" Ann grumbled

"Mahiru I warned you didn't I? That there our vampires around here? I told you so SO SO SO MANY TIMES TO BE CAREFUL!!" He screamed his voice dark and incredibly frightening.

Ann looked at him with wide eyes scared too

."mahiru...your friend is Tsubaki's subclass!!" Kuro exclaimed, Ann felt tears well up in her eyes and slowly stream down her face " what's happening?..."

"Sakuya" Mahiru muttered " put her down!"

"Mahiru do you ever get the feeling that everything you ever knew about the world had been created five minutes ago? You probably think that's crazy. After all you have memories of the past but what if those are fake memories that were recently implanted in to your brain? What I've only been your best friend for five minutes? Can you prove something like that is impossible? Can you prove anything actually existed more than five minutes ago?"

'What is he talking about?...'

"What did I say to you guys when your mom died, do you remember? Was I even there?"

'Wait...why don't he in my memories from the past...'

Suddenly he pulled out three knives " just how many of your memories are lies my friends!" ran towards Mahiru " Sakuya please no!" Ann screamed, Kuro had always jumped in Front

"Kuro!!"Suddenly Belkia attacked him too."No stop!" The silver haired girl struggled around the strings as they two subclasses jumped away

' he slashed Kuro...he was going for me...he's killing people! This has to be a bad dream!'

."Your making it up! Your not actually a vampire right?!" Mahiru screamed

."Oh you'd live if that were a lie would you? If vampires didn't exist and I wasn't one of them you could chalk this up as some kid of trick! Psh people always wanna believe the lie that's most convenient for them! Vampires take advantage of that and tend to hypnotize humans" Sakuya chuckled softly his voice dry and threatening, a tone Mahiru never heard him use before

"You two were easy to fool. You wanted to connect with someone so badly."

"Mahiru... Why'd you have to get involved? Ann...why'd you have to be the target? If you hadn't picked up that cat. If you were human, If you hadn't lied to me then I might still be standing by your side right now. We could have woken tomorrow still best friends! Things could have kept going like they were!" Sakuya began to cry.

"Why does the world around you fall apart around you so often, its not fair!"

" Neither of us meant to lie! We just didn't want our friends getting caught up with vampires! And I wanted to keep you safe! To protect all of you guys!" Mahiru yelled

"SHUT UP! your still lying to me which means you really don't trust me!! If I was actually your best friend then you would have told me the truth no matter what!! DON'T YOU DARE SAY YOU WERE LYING TO ME TO KEEP ME SAFE! " He screamed

"i was!" Mahuri exclaimed

While Ann was shaking

"You know, I hate liars more than anything. Once someone lies to you, you lose all trust you can't believe a word they say ever again!" He looked down glaring darkly at the ground.

Suddenly he scrapped his nails across a broken mirror and Mahiru and Ann winced at the ear splintering sound

."It feels like my entire bodies being torn apart . that what happens when your best friends lies to your face" he began to laugh crazily."Your being a tad bit dramatic but suppose so" I sweat dropped."AND THATS NOT ALL!! IM NOT STUPID! I KNEW THE WORDS COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH WERE LIES!! BUT I JUST STOOD THERE PRETENDING IT WAS OKAY! I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING WHICH MEANS YOU MADE A LIAR OUT OF ME TOO!"he screamed.

'Kuro...come on!...we can fix this somehow!...the two of us will work together again and make things right!..' meanwhile belkia was covering his ears form the agonising noise

' we...have to stop him!'

Mahiru began to struggle on the strings again when he noticed Kuro move slightly. "Kuro?!" "There's no point" he stated  "W-What? What do mean there's no point? Of course there's a point!" Mahiru exclaimed. "Drinking your blood isn't going to help anything. Not when you like this.." He grumbled  "What.."

"The stuck up brat explained it to you didn't he? We're linked, that's the reason I'm so lazy. Because you lack certainty powered by the resolve flowing through the veins of his eve. That means my power is only equal to the strength of your will. You don't have any resolve right now. I can't tell If you want me to protect your friend or to kill him" Kuro sighed

Just was cut from he thoughts as the strings holding the girl dropped and Mahiru fell harshly to his ba."Argh!"

He looked up in surprise and saw Misano standing in front of us with Lily, who was holding the swords that were stabbed in to Kuro's back."M-Misono?" He gasped

."Stand back mahuri shirota! Ann tanaka! I'll take care of this!" Misono exclaimed

."Hold on a second! You can't that's our friend Sakuya!" Mahiru exclaimed

"Right! I'm his very best friend in the whole world! So what are ya gonna do with me huh?" Sakuya smirked

"This guys was one of you friends? Your kidding. We won't get along, vampire" Misono muttered.

Sakuya just laughed tilting his head back in amusement "I'm not very good at fighting but I'll do my best.. If it really brings you pleasure" Lily hummed before summoning his scythe and swinging at Belkia as he lunged at him

"Not a very good plan. Do you think you can take me down alone? That's pretty damn cocky of you witless little punk!" Sakuya scoffed

"I wanna know when and why you got close to Mahiru! And Ann, What were your motives!" Misono yelled angrily

."Huh? Your talking like some kind of jealous boyfriend whose been cheated on, why do you care so much about them.....you've only met her tonight, and Mahiru? Didn't you just meet him a few day ago I mea-"

"It doesn't matter when we met! It matters what he said! The shirota called me his friend! And I plan to be tanaka's friend as tell! " Misono exclaimed."his friend.." Sakuya looked behind Misano at them

Misano's eyes darkened and he held out his arm."What are you doing now? What's a kid like you gonna do against me? Your so easy. Your a lonely eve who's about to get knocked off the board" Sakuya huffed.

"Ah some applause please! Ready for the securing belkia and his magic murder box!" Belkia cooed taking a weird box from his jat."Lily only left my side because he had a good reason too. Watch closely you two. This is one way I can use my power" Misano explained standing closely on front of them.

"If an enemy target comes between lily and I. Our weapon activates"Watching with wide eyes the two saw a purple sphere type thing appear below belkia and lock him in Misano's chair " wha the hell is this thing?!"

."Your kidding me! Misano's weapon is a chair?!" Mahuri muttered with Kuro in his lap

" what's happening...this must be a dream" Ann says in disbelief

Suddenly lily came up behind belkia with the scythe under his neck

"Nighty night now!" Lily cooed.Before cutting belkia and throwing him at mahiru and Ann's feet.

The twos eyes widened as looked down at the pinkette."One down" Misano mumbles.

"But it looked like you chopped his head off!! " Mahiru exclaimed. "My power only destroys the mind not the body. To be honest with you I'm out of practice but it's good to know we can still put up a fight" lily smiled turning to us slightly

"Misano really wanted to show off for your friend Ann~" lily cooed. Her eyes widened and blushed slightly. "Hey! Quite Lily!!" Misono exclaimed blushing slightly himself.

"Its unfortunate. Mahiru was talking about how excited they were to introduce his friends to me. He wanted you to be first" Misano sighed turning back to Sakuya. "He really wanted to introduce me? I see" Misono's posture tensed up.

"I wish we could have stayed friends... Even if it was only for just another week or two. I was actually pretty pumped to go to the school festival that was coming up" Sakuya sighed.

."If only if things had turned out differently... Who knows, Misano you and I might have even been friends ..." Sakuya smirked."Misano! Don't let him distract you!" Lily warned

"Mahiru, I wonder what your new friend intentions are, sounds to me like he wants us to fight, is that it?"

Misono break the chain " misono! What are you doing?! Where'd he go-" just then lily was cut off by someone appearing behind him, which turned out to be belkia?!  " hi there, I'm the grand duke of skewering belkia" his voice was different through, he then lifted the sword he had stabbed Lily's leg off with

Sakuya rushed at Misono, his small blades glinting in his hand.

Misono braced himself for the pain

But there was no pain.Instead he felt shock and horror at seeing a familiar white haired girl suddenly in front of him.

Blood was gushing out from the deep cuts Watanuki made

Ann winced, feeling the blades pierce into her skin but she stood her ground "T-tanaka!?" She heard Misono stutter in shock

"ANN!" Mahiru wore a horrified expression on his face at seeing the amount of blood she was loosing, he body falls

Lily quickly ran to misono's side and supported her, and the Sakuya looked at Mahiru."So just how much of what I said earlier was lie? Mahiru? Does it make me a liar to fail to mention we aren't alone?" Sakuya laughed evilly

."So there's someone else here. Pulling the strings" lily hissed.

"Sakuya why are you doing this to us?! What the hell happened to you?!" Mahiru screamed angrily."I thought the four of us could all be friends! And you ruined that! You need to stop this!"

"M-Mahiru......"both looked and saw ann looking weakly ."a-Ann?!"

"Did I do...something wrong? I just wanted to protect you..and my new friend" she asked weakly, While misono eyes widened

."No... you did perfect. I'm sorry I didn't help... You did something noble... damnit!" Mahiru exclaimed clenching fists angrily,

Misono was angered too, he was supposed to protect her, not the other way round

" now to cut out her heart and deliver it!~" belkia-puppet says, Lily stood up with the weapon ready while misono held Ann protectively " I won't let you touch her!"

someone grabbed Mahiru from behind and heard the distinct sound of a blade opening and the hot breath of someone Much taller than her on his neck

"You have no idea Mahiru. No idea how your supposed best friend felt this whole time. Hanging out on the way home from school. The more friend I had with you guys the drier my throat would get!" He hissed

"It gets so bad I think of killing someone. I guess that's just to be expected. Its just the way I'm wired. Vampires exist to hurt people, humans" he hummed

" no...it's not an excuse.." he muttered, grunting

Suddenly he let go, and grunted when he stood on him."Mahiru!" Misono yelled

"But its true guys! And honestly the guilt feels pretty damn good too! It's all part of being a vampire! The reward for my thirst! Now listen if your going to try and kill me be serious about it! Otherwise...I'll attack your new friend too like Ann and this time HE'LL DIE!!" Sakuya growled crushing his head in to the concrete.

Just then he heard the sound of someone whisper in his ear " your a liar...would you do to them what they did to you?" She whispered " you won't betray them..." he turned around in alarm, while Mahiru watched

"Keep quiet Mahiru..." he turned to find Kuro next to him "You can't fight him in the state your in!" Kuro said

."Huh? Wait your wounds" his eyes widened."They're better. So it'd be smart for us to run now" he stated.

."No way Kuro!"He began stomping towards Sakuya."We have to go!" Kuro exclaimed grabbing his hand

" we can't go! Ann's hurt! Look at her!" The boy exclaimed

"Do you really wanna use your power like this? You haven't done anything you'll regret yet. You can walk away with a clear conscience" he exclaimed

"I can't just sit back and do nothing!" He ripped his hand backs and started stoping towards Sakuya " your not listening mahuri..." Kuro began as mahuri took off his wrist band "what I mean is your unsure of yourself right now..." Sakuya has caught the band that had been thrown " Sakuya!" With his hand out, he summoned his lead

"Good. your doing the right thing, Mahiru. All liard should deserve to be killed" Sakuya smiled slightly.

On the roof

The girl who was controlling belkia then noticed how Suddenly it began to rain "its raining, even though the moons out" she said " but I thought you weren't going to be joining us here today" behind her, was tsubaki, watching the fight

He leaned forward " so mahuri shiota, I want to see the true shape of your despair, it would be interesting if you bacame the key. please" meanwhile mahuri Swiped his broom at Sakuya. And smacked him

' don't loose sight of yourself, don't be swayed' while Sakuyas body skid to a halt

' I hit him. I hit Sakuya...' something in Kuro changed, and he felt it " don't get swallowed!"

' i Dont  think I'm the one swinging' it was like something was controlling his body ' it's like I'm the one being swung around'

"It won't stop bleeding. Is it because of that broom? What do you know. Maybe you will he able to kill me!" Sakuya exclaimed rubbing his bloody eye.

'Wait a second. What does he mean by that?...I'm not gonna kill Sakuya!' His broom started fading " no. Don't go down that path. You can't mahuri" Kuro yelped
