Yes, I know what you're thinking: 

"But person who wrote this book, why do we have rules and regulations for a short story collection?"

Allow me to answer your queries. 

The reason is because even though this is my short story collection, I want my community to try their collective hand at pushing me out of  my comfort zone. You see, I first started as a fantasy short story author, and then went on to create longer "novels" out of my enjoyment of fantasy. My writing of short stories, is a way for me to feel the genre and test my skills. I will be putting the genre of all the short stories either, suggested by the community of readers that read my work, or the genre that I have put. 

So you might be thinking:

"Well how can I, (person reading this book) suggest a short story idea to get it written, and for the author of this book to test their skills at writing in a genre that they haven't written in prior much if not at all. "

We.. person who hypothetically asked that question, here's how:

Now, before you get too existed, there is a catch, that catch is:

There, as everyone, are genres that I want to write in and some I really don't. The genres I will happily do weigh out the ones I wont.
