Teaser For: Whitechin's Depression

Whitekit's eyes were wide. In the distance, he could see a bright glow and orange streaks licking branches and the sky. Even silver pelt seemed to light up.

Everything the orange licking thing touched, it was destroying.

There were sharp sounds of snaps and some small but sharp splinters spat at his head.

Whitekit yowled in alarm and protest once he felt large jaws grip around my scruff.

Moment later, something large fell right over where he previously was. It was also drenched in the licking orange glow.

"Corallake! Go down to the river!" a cat yowled.

Whitekit closed his eyes tightly. Overwelming heat grasping at his fur. But the carrier seemed to feel it even more.

He looked beneath them. Just in time to see a large jump being made and the orange flare licking up at them. As though trying to kill them.

Panicking, he slashed his tiny claws. His imagination kicking off like he was cutting the glows like the infamous Dark Forest cats.

The cat carrying him dodged every orange glow. Like a bird escaping claws, the cats fur skimmed against the cruel claws like feathers.

It gradually grew cooler. The orange flares finally becoming something distant. He shivered. Coming to an abrubt stop. Talking came from every which way.

"Corallake! Lakestar was burnt terribly! Whitekit's mother was killed by the badger! What will we do?"

Whitekit grew exhausted. His head hanging a bit low. But before he passed out, he heard the last few words.

"Nobody tell him of his parents..."

Nothing...
