Super Villain! AU

I laughed hysterically at the scattering people.

"You all better run!" I screamed, a delirious grin lacing my features. I threw one of my grenade-mice into the crowd and doubled over with laughter as the people collapsed, passed out from laughing gas.

"You're all mad!~" I howled, grinning like a Cheshire Cat. I look behind me as the superheroes made their way down.

"Oh, the Paladins Of Voltron, how nice of you to join me!~" I cooed, swinging my teapot around, "I suppose I can make reservations for 5 at my tea party!~"

"Leave here, or prepare to face destruction!" the blue one cawed, waving his arms around, striking a ninja pose. I hummed in amusement.

"How fun~ Little old Blue is playing cat and mouse with me~" I screeched, still smiling, with a dangerous tint in my eyes. I took out my gun and pointed at the paladins.

"Why don't we play a game?~" I mused, taking off my steampunk glasses, my hair and face mask, and my hair tie. I seductively smirked at each of them, fluffing my hair.

"If you can guess what card I'm holding, I'll willingly go with you to your base. If you can't, well, it's going to be a bloodbath," I suggested, pointing my gun at them, holding two teacup grenades.

"How do we know that you're not lying?" I giggled madly, drawing an "X" over my chest with my red marker.

"If I don't go, this will kill me," I said, pointing to the marking, which already disappeared.

"Pick a card, any card!" I held my hand out to black one, winking at him. He glared, but picked out a card and handed it to me. I looked at it.

"Oh~ It's a good one~ Now, take three guesses, blacky~" I cooed, holding the card in between my teeth.

"3 of diamonds!"

"Nope."

"King of Spades!"

"No, dear~"

"7 of- Wait a minute..." the black one said, narrowing his eyes, "The marker, your chest... Your suit. I'm guessing... 10/6."

"Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!" I exclaimed, letting the red bonds wrap around me, "Good guess!~"

"I guess it's our turn to get rid of you."

"If you want to~"

I sat, smiling in the chamber in which I was held captive in. My eyes followed the handsome Japanese male.

"Hey, Shiro, was it?" I asked, feeling my vision return to normal, and my face falling.

"Y-You remembered?" he asked, coming up to the glass, "How?" I smiled genuienly.

"It's the mercury in my hat. It makes me go bonkers," I replied, picking up my green hat and touching the rim, "It's not really my fault. I didn't want this."

"Can I come in there with you?" Shiro asked, touching the number pad on the wall. I nodded, beckoning for him to come in. He pressed a few buttons, and came into my little room.

"So, tell me more about your backstory," he said, placing a hand on my knee. I looked at him in surprise.

"You're not scared? Afraid of me? Of what I might do to you?" I asked, cocking my head.

"I might be, but I take your word for what you just said. You didn't want this. I can make that happen. Join us." I recoiled.

"The villains are my family. The only one I ever had. I'm not going to leave them."

"Think about it, you can have a new family: us. We'll take better care of you, treat you with more respect. How did Zarkon treat you? We can make you feel truly at home." I teared up a little.

"I-I need more time... Time to think about this," I stammered, looking at my hat. He nodded and quickly kissed my head before heading out of the chamber. I blushed and looked at him in surprise. He chuckled and turned off the lights, leaving me to think in darkness.

I woke up to a buzzing noise from inside the basement.

"Shut up!" I yelled, "I swear, Sendak, if you're trying to put new fingers on your fucking arm, I will rip it off and throw it into the ocean!" The buzzing stopped and footsteps rang through the room.

"Guys, she's awake." I looked up and saw Keith.

"Why the fuck are you here? I was trying to sleep!" I grumbled, stretching out. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms as the rest of team Voltron gathered to see me.

"What the hell are you looking at? I'm not a zoo exhibit," I snapped, glaring at everyone.

"Have you made your decision?"

"What is this? CSI? No, duh, Einstein. I'll join you guys," I sighed, grabbing my hat.

"The hat stays."

"No way. It's part of who I am. My... past, persay."

"The hate stays, or else you'll be locked up in here forever." I sighed, tears coming to my eyes as I looked at the bright green hat. I set it down, visibly shaking. Something broke inside of me, releasing a tidal wave of tears.

I ran into Shiro's arms, his warm body calming my nerves as I cried. The rest of the tea, watched as the hat undid itself and folded back into a small rectangle, with the sign 10/6 on it.

"You did it..." he whispered, "It's fine now. You're not connected to the Galra anymore." I sniffed, wiping my tears.

"What... Was that?" Lance asked, picking up the box.

"I-It's something... My father gave to me before he died of mercury poisoning. I-I was the only one who could open it... S-So I-I... Went... Mad, just like my father did. Zarkon said I was too dangerous and made me join him... I didn't want to, but Sendak became like a second father to me," I cried.

"I didn't want to leave him... But when Haggar brain-washed him... He became more aggressive... abusive... less of a man he used to be... I decided to go off on my own, searching for a person that could cure me... That soon ended, the poison taking control of my whole being. That's what you saw at the city. I was... mad, you should say," I explained, calming down a bit, lightly laughing at the end at my own corny joke.

"Look, we're going to shape you into a new person. You now have a real family to look up to." I smiled at Shiro.

"Thanks."

I groaned in frustration as I threw down the book "Alice In Wonderland."

"Why did they have to make me read this goddamn book? I'd read literally anything else!" I screamed, punching the wall.

"You know, the first step is to forget about who you were, (Y/N)."

"It's not that easy, dipshit!"

"You have to learn."

"I can't!"

"I did." I widened my eyes. Shiro stepped into the room again.

"You...?"

"Yes, I was formerly known as 'The Champion.'"

"No, it was you? That killed Myzax?"

"Yes, it was me. But the paladins rescued me from that horrible place, and... Look where I am now. I'm better than ever. If I could do it, you can too."

"... I'll try. I can't guarantee it, but I'll try." Shiro smiled and hugged me.

"I know you can do it, (Y/N). Just you wait."

I breathed in the fresh scent of the city air.

"Black Panther, you're finally here," I chuckled, eyes gleaming in amusement.

"You don't look to bad yourself, White Lion," Shiro said, wrapping an arm around me. I smiled and kissed him.

"Ready for patrol?"

"You know it."

"Let's start with the East wing, then Lance and Keith will swoop in and check the West wing. Pidge and Hunk are responsible for the South wing, and Allura and Coran will scan the North wing. Clear?" I spoke, pressing my earpiece.

"Roger that!" the team spoke. I cracked my knuckles and smirked, taking Shiro's hand.

"Remember when you said you couldn't recover?" he teased, kissing the backside of my hand. I rolled my eyes and smacked him playfully.

"Shut up, we don't speak of those times now." Shiro laughed heartily and picked me up, swinging me around.

"I wouldn't have recovered if you weren't around, Shiro."

"Hmmm~ I believe that," he said huskily. I smirked and wrapped my hands around his neck, kissing him. I pulled away when I heard a small ringing. The bank. I sighed and kissed his jaw one more time.

"The bank is being robbed."

"Time for a super heroic duo to come into play, I guess," Shiro replied, activating his arm. I smiled and took out my bow and arrows.

"It's showtime."
