56. Lotor- Rewrite The Stars

(Requested)

This is going to be so fun! It's from the Greatest Showman and I'd thought it'd be fun seeing our two spaces babes do a duet.

"You know I want you. It's not a secret I try to hide," Lotor sang, walking towards me, "I know you want me, so don't keep saying our hands are tied." I smirked and walked away.

"You claim it's not in the cards, and fate is pulling you miles away, and out of reach from me." His melodic voice made me shiver the slightest bit.

"But you're here in my heart, so who can stop me if I decide that you're my destiny?" I walked up to the acrobatics rope and started to secure it. I rolled my eyes as he decided to follow me again.

"What if we rewrite the stars? Say you were made to be mine, nothing could keep us apart, you'd be the one I was meant to find." I paid him no attention, my mind focusing on my act, and the rope that was going to secure me to it. He drew closer to me and stared at me, noses inches apart.

I went to the center of the ring, holding the rope and looking up, not looking at him. I let out a small gasp as he placed his hand on my hip, looking into my eyes, lips now so close. I ducked under his arm as I tried to avoid him.

"It's up to you, and it's up to me, no one can say what we get to be, so why don't we rewrite the stars? Maybe the world could be ours, tonight." He used the rope to pull me closer and resumed the same position we had before, now this time, with him holding the rope, and him dancing me around the track. I smiled and took back the rope, looking at him.

I pulled the rope and suddenly went shooting upwards. I looked down at him, looking around dejectedly. He finally looked up, where I was hanging by a hoop.

"You think it's easy, you think I don't want to run to you," I started to sing back. Two can play at that game. I started to descend to the ground. "But there are mountains, and there are doors that we can't walk through." I let our noses touch for a brief second, and let his hands rest on my hips willingly.

"I know you're wondering why, because we're able to be just you and me, within these walls. But when we go outside, you're going to wake up and see that it was hopeless after all." I started to position myself on the hoop, and it started to go up. I smirked as he got a hold of it, but landed on the ground.

He looked around until he finally found me pacing on the rail. I jumped down, swinging in front of him, starling Lotor.

"No one can rewrite the stars, how can you say you'll be mine? Everything keeps us apart, and I'm not the one you were meant to find." I stopped for a second as he grabbed me and rolled us both to the ground. I growled and pulled down the rope, and went up again.

"It's not up to you, it's not up to me, when everyone tells us what we can be. How can we rewrite the stars? Say that the world can be ours, tonight." I rolled down from the top of the rope, into his strong arms. I linked my hand with his, my feet now on the ground.

"All I want is to fly with you, all I want is to fall with you," we sang together. He grabbed the rope and wrapped his other arm around my body, lifting us both into the air. I felt... safe. More safe than anywhere else, in his arms. I jumped out, his arm still grabbing me.

"So just give me all of you."

We landed back down on the ground, eyes still locked on each other.

"It feels impossible!"

"It's not impossible!"

"Is it impossible?"

"Say that it's possible!"

We latched onto each others' waists and swung into the air, making circles. He landed back onto the ground while I stayed airborne.

"How do we rewrite the stars? Say you were made to be mine? Nothing can keep us apart, 'cause you are the one I was meant to find." I swung to the railing, and kept running circles around him, smiling. He laughed and jumped up onto the railing.

"It's up to you, and it's up to me. No one can say what we get to be, and why don't we rewrite the stars? Changing the world to be ours." He jumped off the railing, laughing as I caught him. We smiled at each other, looking into each others' eyes. I rope slowly halted as we placed our feet onto the ground, his arms wrapped around my waist.

"You know I want you, it's not a secret I try to hide. But I can't have you, we're bound to break and my hands are tied..." I softly sang, tears pricking the corners of my eyes. I slowly placed my hands on his and slid them off my waist.

I turned away, gently grabbing the rope. I slowly walked away, flinching with every step I took. I felt his warm hand on mine. I clenched my jaw and turned around to meet his clear yellow and blue eyes.

"You know I want you..." he sang softly. I smiled a little.

"I know you want me..."

"So why don't we rewrite the stars... Together?" he suggested, voice almost a whisper. I softly smiled as his arms looped around my waist again. He brought his face close to mine and pressed his lips against my lips.

I smiled and broke away, pressing our foreheads together.

"Maybe we can rewrite the stars."
