Originally, the reader wanted me to do mother's day, but it's a bit past that and father's day is here, so i think it would be more in spirit for this one, haha

i'm sorry i didn't do mother's day, i hope that's fine... ;-;

Waking up at 3:00 am takes some dedication. Staying up until the time your fiance wakes up takes more resilience. And to top it all off, I had to wake four groaning children, plus an angry aunt, and an uncle.

"The reason I called you here today is because it is Father's Day back on Earth, and we want to make everything right for our Space Dad! Right, cadets?"

"Yes!" they responded, saluting.

"Now, I've set up roles for everyone of you! Keith, Lance, you are in charge of stalling Shiro for when he gets up and alerting us of when."

"You got it."

"Hunk, Coran, you are in charge of breakfast."

"Whoo! It's gonna be the best meal you've had!"

"And finally Allura and Pidge, you guys will be focusing on the decorations."

"Allura, let's do this for Shiro!" I smiled as they ran off, eyes shining.

"Shiro, just you wait. This is going to be the best day of your life."

"Lance? Keith?" Shiro asked groggily, "What are you two doing in my room?"

"We just need your help setting up the mainframe for an engine we're working on, Shiro."

"Since when do you two work togeth-"

"It's homework."

"What homew-" Before the Japanese male could say anything else, he was dragged away by Keith and Lance.

"Places, everyone!" I whispered, shushing the whole room as I prepared for Shiro to walk in. The door slid open and everyone yelled, "Surprise! Happy Father's Day, Shiro!"

Pidge and Allura popped confetti cannons while Hunk and Coran made jazz hands.

"Y-You guys, wow!" Shiro stuttered. "I'm really flattered!"

"You're the best space dad anyone could've wished for, Shiro!"

"#spacedad!"

"Space Daddy~"

"Lance, I swear to God-"

"Happy Father's Day, babe," I giggled, hugging him and placing a soft kiss on his nose.

"Come on, enjoy your breakfast, Takashi." Shiro smiled and took my hand, going to the dining table.

"I whipped up some paladin grub. Grilled flugubers, and brewed kie juice. Brightens the skin and opens the eye!" Coran said enthusiastically. Shiro flinched and gently set that aside.

"I made pancakes. Nothing fancy, just chocolate chip, blueberry, and regular batter."

"It looks great, Hunk. And thank you, Coran for making us breakfast."

"This is your day, don't be thanking us."

"Oh, you guys," Shiro sighed. "That was amazing." I giggled and kissed his head, clasping both of his hands.

"I have one more surprise," I whispered, pulling out a little box.

"Wait... (Y/N), I told you. I already proposed to you. You can't propose to me again." I laughed and shook my head, handing the box to him.

"It's not a ring. It's much better." I watched as Shiro ripped open the wrapping paper and cautiously opened the box. He took out two little slippers, another longer box, and a candy.

"Baby Bottle Pop?" he questioned, reading the candy label. "Alright...?"

"Open the longer one, dumb-butt," I demanded. He chuckled.

"Alright, alright, I opened i-" He stopped in the middle of his sentence to check the little thermometer-like rod inside, showing two lines in the screen.

"(Y/N)..." he whispered, eyes gleaming. "You can't be serious." I looked down.

"I thought you'd be ha- Woah! Takashi!" I yelped, feeling my body lift into the air.

"I'm going to be a dad! Oh my god!" he whooped, swinging me around. I giggled and placed longer kisses on his lips.

"You look so happy."

"Of course I am! I'm having a child with the love of my life!" The paladins all surrounded us and gave reassuring hugs, smiles, and thumbs-ups.

"I'm happy for you guys."

"I'm going to be a grand-uncle!"

"I'll help babysit!"

"You two are going to be so cute together as a family!"

I smiled in glee and sheer joy, tears brimming my eyes.

"Shiro... I love you so much."

"Love you too, baby. And the other one in you."

"You nerd."
