i actually finished this super
quickly, within like... 2 weeks,
so i apologize if the plot is
ahh,, questionable hahasj

as i was writing
this story, i actually got
'round to wrapping up its
theme while i was
browsing pinterest—the
difference between
falling in love and
falling hard for someone.

although i'm sure that
some of you may disagree
with tsukimi's choice in
the end, understand that, just as
tsukimi stated it would be, it was
merely a matter of preference. and
she chose suna.

of course, spending the rest
of your days with someone who
is surely in love with you is a
comforting thought to most. but
understand that while tsukimi is
also young, the type of love she
feels for suna is different from
the love she feels for akaashi—
whereas the latter one is calmer,
more consistent, and sweet,
the former is dazzling and grand,
surely enticing for someone as young
as she is.

the fact that she cares dearly for the twins
is also a deal-breaker, as we see in the
final chapter.

all in all, writing this story has
actually helped me come to terms
with many of my own experiences—
the closure we see for akaashi and
tsukimi is as much closure as it
is for me. i deeply regret the
fact that starstruck has now
come to an end, but i'm truly
glad that i was able to close out
both this story and a chapter of
my own life.

again, thank you so much for
reading this story! i know it was
super wordy and lengthy, but
i'm overall pretty happy with
how everything turned out.
