Their valiant efforts to escape only lead to their capture, and as they find themselves imprisoned, Padme makes a decision that sends shockwaves through Raina's heart.

She loves Anakin, and Anakin loves her.

The revelation strikes Raina like a bolt of lightning, threatening to shatter her entire world. It should have left her paralyzed, incapable of moving or even breathing, but instead, it ignites a firestorm of rage within her. It fuels her with a newfound determination to break free from their chains and fight back against their captors.

In the heat of the moment, Raina's fury knows no bounds. With a primal scream, she unleashes the full force of her power, shattering the creature meant to kill them and breaking the chains that bind her. Her actions inspire the other captives to rise up and join the fray, turning what was meant to be a spectacle of death into a chaotic battle for survival.

Raina fights with a ferocity that borders on madness, her mind consumed by a single-minded desire for vengeance. She doesn't think, she doesn't hesitate—she simply acts, channeling the power of her broken heart into every strike.

Obi-Wan watches in astonishment as Raina transforms before his eyes. Gone is the sweet, gentle girl he once knew, replaced by a force of nature driven by rage and determination. She is no longer his padawan learner—she is a whirlwind of darkness and death.

As the battle rages on, Obi-Wan struggles to rein in Raina's fury, coaxing her back to reality as they finally make their escape. But even as they flee to safety, Raina remains haunted by a sense of incompleteness. Count Dooku still roams free, their victory tainted by his escape.

Their journey back to safety is fraught with danger, their ships crashing amidst the chaos of battle. Obi-Wan finds himself facing off against Count Dooku himself, and just when it seems like all hope is lost, Raina and Anakin step up to join the fight.

Raina's jaw clenches with determination as she faces the Sith Lord, her breath coming out in angry pants. He may not be the one directly responsible for her father's death, but he represents everything she despises about the Sith—betrayal, manipulation, and cruelty.

Together, Raina and Anakin launch themselves into battle against the formidable Count Dooku. For a time, they hold their own, matching his every move with precision and skill. But Dooku proves to be a cunning adversary, and with a swift stroke, he severs Anakin's forearm and sends him crashing to the ground.

Raina watches in horror as her partner falls, his cry of pain echoing in her ears. In a blaze of fury, she charges at Dooku, her saber slashing through the air with deadly precision. But even as she closes in for the kill, Dooku strikes back with a cruel blow, impaling her through the chest with his saber.

Pain flares through Raina's body as she collapses to the ground, her vision swimming with darkness. As her strength begins to fade, she reaches out to Anakin, her last thoughts consumed by the love she holds for him.

Raina falls to the ground as the dark void of nothingness consumes her. Her mind becomes a blank slate, until it magically awakens.

She finds herself lying in a medical bed with bandages wrapped around her, covered in a white blanket, and as she turns her head, she finds Anakin fast asleep while holding her head.

" Anakin?" She asks in a horse voice.

He gasps awake, lifting his head to reveal his tear-stained face that forms a smile from the sound of her voice.

" Raina!" He exclaims, " Y-You're awake."

" How long was I--"

" Just a couple weeks. You'll be okay."

Raina nods, going to sit up in her bed while Anakin holds his hands out just in case she falls.

" How do you feel?" He questions.

" Sore," She responds, " Almost like I was stabbed with a light saber."

Anakin laughs as she swings her legs off the side of the bed... but his smile is so different than usual. It seems to be wider and his eyes seem to be brighter.

" What is it?" Raina asks.

" I have news. I have... really great news," Anakin beams, " Padme and I... we got married," and in that moment... Raina's heart stops and drops to her stomach, " Can you believe it, Raina? It finally happened!"

She feels as though she's going to be sick. Raina hops off the bed and walks to the corner of the room, where she puts her hand on the wall to steady herself as her breathing comes out in labored pants.

" What's wrong? Aren't you happy?" He genuinely asks.

Raina lets out a pathetic, heartbroken laugh as she shakes her head.

" No... I'm not," She finally admits as she turns around, " I'm not happy... I'm devasted... because the man I love just told me he's married to someone else... and he's been so blind to my own feelings this whole time."

" What?" Anakin ponders as he steps forward, " You... you love me?"

" Yes," Raina nods as her voice cracks, " Has it not been obvious? How... how I always look after you on missions, or how I hold you when you sleep, o-or how my heart skips a beat whenever I see you laugh or smile at something I said? Has it not been obvious that I'd do anything for you? That I've been by your side for years! That... that I can't get you out of my head?" she sighs, " I guess not... because you just continue to break my heart."

" Raina... I had no idea," He steps forward once more.

" How could you? When Padme has been the only thing your heart has ever desired?"

" Raina..."

" I need to get out of here."

Raina goes to exit the room, but he still won't give up.

" Raina..."

" What?!"

As she turns around, Anakin closes the gap between them and grabs Raina by her hips to bring his lips down onto hers. For a moment, she doesn't believe it. It feels so wrong... yet it feels so right. Her eyes close as she melts into the kiss... but forces herself to pull away.

" Don't," She shakes her head, " Don't do that."

" Don't do what?" Anakin asks.

" Don't get my hopes up," Raina states, " Don't make me think for a second that you could love me."

" I might," He adds, " I might love you. I just... I don't know."

" Don't know what?"

" I don't know how to explain it. With Padme, it's... so easy. I know exactly how I feel about her... but I feel it in my heart. I feel something for you as well, I know it."

And that makes Raina scoff.

" You expect me to believe that?"

Anakin slowly reaches down to grab Raina's hand, and then brings it up to his chest where he presses it against his heart while his eyes bore down into her very soul... and she feels it. Raina feels Anakin's heart, and while his feelings for Padme are as clear as day... his feelings for Raina aren't, but they're still there.

There's still a chance.

Raina finds herself throwing all caution out the window as she leaps forward to kiss Anakin yet again. She doesn't think about the Jedi code, nor does she think about the fact that if they go forward with their torrid love affair... it means Anakin will be cheating on his wife for as long as they remain together.
