This is something I literally wrote in my notes app over two years ago and just came across again. Pretty sure I was half asleep and thought it was amazing and didn't want to forget it. Let me know what you think.

We all think we know our answers; we know that if we were put in that situation, we'd know what to do. But that's not true. We never know until we're in the moment, until the decision has to be made.

I thought I knew the answer, what I would do when they came for me. Now, as they stand on my doorstep, I'm not so sure.
