"𝖍𝖊𝖞, 𝖞/𝖓! 𝖜𝖆𝖎𝖙 𝖚𝖕!" During her walk for fresh air, Y/N turned around to see Itadori running towards her with that big smile on his face like usual. She decided to wait this time, not that she had a choice the last time he ran up to her, until he caught up and joined her on the pleasant nature walk around the school.
"Everything okay?" Y/N started the conversation as put her cold hands in her jacket pockets. The boy responded the usual 'yes' and explained that he wanted to walk around and admire the scenery himself and so happened to find her doing the same thing.
Y/N commented, taking in the earthy scent from the plants surrounding the area. "Yeah, it's a great get-a-away from the curse situation stuff."
Earlier today, Satoru had Y/N practise her curse magic and technique. It was simple at first until the girl started to feel light-head and thirsty after an hour so assumed a glass of water and a walk would do the trick.
"I agree, one of the reason why I'm doing this is for my grandpa's dying wish," Itadori confessed. "He didn't know about the curses or anything, but before the mess at the school, he told me to help others and that's what I'll do." He says with such confidence.
Come to think of it. Y/N didn't have a proper reason herself as to why she was taking on his big opportunity. Was she ever wanted to save other people? No one was there to help her when curses attacked, then why should she help others, right?
You could say to be a good person, but no one is ever a good person when you think about it. Everybody got their flaws that are defined as bad. Doing good things for the sake of doing good things doesn't make you a good person, think otherwise consider that selfishness.
But the acknowledgement of your bad ways and the willingness to adapt and change the badness into something better is different. And that's the lesson Y/N herself hasn't realised, yet.
"That's remarkable, Itadori." Y/N smiled back before her nose sensed a familiar scent right next to her. She stopped and turned to her left, and gasped at the sight of multiple blackberries growing.
"Oh, blackberries." Yuji picked a couple with Y/N. "Haven't had these in a long time."
"Me either." The girl agreed after grabbing a small handful and nibbling on them. "My mum/mom, dad and I used to pick them all the time when we go down for the beach, my sister S/N didn't like them. Now that I think about most things I like she didn't like one bit."
Itadori asked after putting a handful in his mouth, "Oh you have more than one sibling?" Y/N shook her head no, as she giggled at Itadori's puffed cheeks while eating.
"Careful, you're gonna spill some." She used her pointing finger and thumb to close Itadori's mouth by his chin, before walking with him to a nearby patch of grass from them to lay in the sun.
She laid on her back as Yuuji flopped onto his stomach and rested his head on his arms.
"S/N passed away a few years back and Azumi is my foster sister." Her voice saddened a little at the mention of her twin sister. Thinking about S/N in the sun's bliss reminded Y/N of something.
"Hey! Hey! Could you move?" A feminine bossy high pitched voice Y/N remembers that it belongs to:
"S/N!" A younger and happier Y/N groaned. The two were playing in the garden, Y/N was playing with pastel crayons using them on the rocky surface of the stone wall and S/N was using the wall to practise her ballet moves she learned in class that same day. "You know, you could always say please!"
"Never!"
"Why?"
"Cause I get what I want, when I want and how I want it." The stuck up girl confessed sassily sticking her nose up judgementally in the process. Her sister shrugged her shoulders and continued her masterpiece with her tongue sticking out showing that her full concentration was on his crayon piece.
The little ballet dancer grew irritated that her sister wasn't focusing on her. Coughing purposely wasn't working so she went with a direct approach.
"Why are you looking at me!" She stomped her foot and screwed her face up as if she was going to cry.
"Maybe because.." an unbothered Y/N replied innocently and honestly. "I don't want to-"
"B-but I am the star!" S/N sulked loudly.
"Want a blackberry for your troubles?"
"NO!" The h/c haired ballerina slapped the Berry out of her sister's hand. "Just look at me!" She sung joyfully as she twirled around with her arms up in a circle. Before she could finish her turn the girl tripped her other foot and lost balance causing her to fall on her legs.
Y/N dropped everything and jumped down to her sister's aid. Ready to help S/N, she exclaimed worried. "S/N are you okay?"
"I don't need your help, stupid!"
S/N was always an attention seeker, her mother and father knew that putting her in ballet was only to make it worse than it already was. It's not that she didn't anyone confirmation that she was the best at everything she can do.
It was because she wanted people to know that she was the best and no one could beat.
"You know pearls?"
"From... Spongebob?"
"No! No! No! Pearls."
"Yeah what about them?" Y/N turned her head after from the stone wall and faced Itadori who looks like he's been staring at her for quite a while. A strange yet welcoming sweet smell travelled through the air, Y/N didn't know where it came from, possibly from the flowers nearby.
"You remind me of them." He said brightly at his classmate. "Call me crazy or weird, but I like the way your skin shines in the sun," Itadori admitted through his nervous chuckle as his cheeks started to mimic the colour of his hair.
"Itadori, that- ow!" A sudden immense pain stabbed Y/N in the gut. Three days, Amai said before leaving Y/N's field of view. She swore under her breath as Itadori helped her back on her feet, only for her to fall into his arms again at the pain stunning her body momentarily.
"Saying this in the nicest way possible." The pink-haired boy said, before asking his questions quickly "Are you on your...?"
She couldn't tell Itadori about Amai and her needing human flesh, since he's mostly read The Belladonna book and probably still has it. She wouldn't like him would grow fearful of her. So she took this opportunity as an advantage. "Promise you won't tell anyone?" She stuck out her pinkie finger.
Itadori joined his pinkie finger with hers and smiled. "Promise. Come let's get back inside!"
"Okay- Ah! Itadori!" Before she knew the rather strong boy carried her on his back and ran down the rocky path. Gojo watched the teenagers share many laughs and grins from the top balcony. He was surprised how Y/N's descriptions from her parents' point of views was completely incorrect.
Almost the complete opposite. He was happy that Y/N was happy and smiling. But it felt oddly unnatural.
"What are you up to Amai?"
no. N
"quite the pretty girl." the leader confessed to me. "Such a shame!" I hollered at my hand being pinned to the one end of the satanic star with a rusty nail and hammer. "you going to die in a matter of seconds." he continued pinning both my hands and feet onto the floor.
