beomgyu grew worried as he saw taehyun's eyes scrunch up when he drank from the bottle yet.. nothing seemed to happen. did my plan fail?

beomgyu didn't want to seem suspicious so he reached down to his bag and took out another full water bottle before taking a sip.

their three other friends had engaged in a conversation so it was just beomgyu and taehyun silently drinking their water.

the older saw taehyun grab his head from the corner of his eye so he turned to him with concern. "tae are you okay-" 'have i ever told you-".

the red haired boy closed his eyes for a second and lost his balance before standing up straight again and opening his eyes.

beomgyu took the boys wrist and began dragging him out of the gymnasium in a rush. "i'm taking you to the nurse". he heard a quiet whine behind him and stopped.

he turned to see taehyun pouting slightly. he tilted his head in confusion, "you must be really sick if you're pouting lets go-"

"you didn't let me finish my sentence". they both stopped walking again and beomgyu turned back to the boy. "finish it then".

the younger boy then looked up at beomgyu with a bright smile, shocking the black haired boy. "have i ever told you... that you look very handsome?".

he stared down at taehyun and didn't know how to react. the potion worked? the potion worked! a smiled made it's way onto beomgyu's face and he took taehyun into a hug.

"no you haven't, but say it more often". he heard a little giggle come from the other boy and it made his smile soften. if only this could happen without a spell.

"there you are gyu- oh and with taehyun". the two boys looked over to the voice and saw their three other friends. yeonjun came speeding over and he grabbed beomgyu's wrist.

his hand then got smacked away by none other than taehyun who just tightened his grip around beomgyu. yeonjun stared at the two in shock along with soobin and huening kai.

"gyu what did you do to taehyun?". beomgyu immediately gasped and looked over at soobin. "I didn't do anything".

"except steal my heart", taehyun mumbled but everyone heard it. soobin then glared at beomgyu again, "you did something".

"you did what?!". he looked down to the ground as his three friends were staring at him in anger and taehyun was clinging onto him.. oblivious.

"i- i'm sorry, i guess i just wanted to know what it felt like to have taehyun love me". yeonjun sighed before ruffling beomgyu's hair.

"you will just have to suffer the consequences, because we all know what will happen once the spell wears off".

he sighed shakily as he looked back down again, a tear now slipping from his eye. unfortunately, taehyun noticed the tear fall and he grabbed beomgyu's face.

"what's wrong? why are you crying? don't cry". the younger boy cupped beomgyu's face and wiped the tear with his thumb.

beomgyu couldn't help but weakly smile at the boy and the three other friends all gave each other knowing looks. beomgyu was going to get heartbroken.

the said boy lifted up his hands and put them on top of taehyun's, "i'm okay, really". the red haired boy pouted and removed his hands from beomgyu's face.

huening kai then looked up at beomgyu, "how long did it say in the book that the spell would last?". that made beomgyu freeze.

"i- oh my god i didn't read that far". the three other boys stood up leaving a confused beomgyu with a taehyun latched onto his arm.

"we're going to get the book, don't do anything while we're gone, alright?", beomgyu silently nodded as he watched the three leave the dorm.

"where are they going?". he turned to taehyun with a small smile and brushed his fingers through the boys hair. "don't worry about where they're going".

the two sat in silence for the next few minutes, taehyun playing with the hem of beomgyu's shirt while beomgyu played with the youngers hair.

"if he wasn't under some spell, you two would make a good couple". yeonjun then whacked huening kai's arm.

"don't say stuff like that, it will just hurt him more when the spell wears off". he sat down in front of taehyun and beomgyu.

"the book said that it should take about a month to wear off since it is a strong spell". beomgyu silently nodded and looked down again.

"so you have to deal with a loved up taehyun for a month". huening kai then whined like a child, "does that mean i have to hear him talk about beomgyu every night?".

soobin chuckled and nodded at him. the youngest fell back with a small groan and then looked up at beomgyu. "you better not take advantage of him".

beomgyu gasped rather dramatically. "why would i do that?!". huening kai rolled his eyes as he sat back up again. "i've got my eyes on you".

he tried to look intimidating but failed miserably, making the three others laugh at him. yeonjun then looked down to his wrist and widened his eyes.

"we're supposed to be in our own dorms by now. the guards should be checking around in the next twenty minutes, you three need to go".

beomgyu looked down at taehyun and smiled at him. "tae, you need to go now". the said boy looked up and pouted, "But i'll miss you".

beomgyu couldn't help but chuckle as he stood up, making taehyun stand up with him since the boy was still clinging onto his arm.

huening kai then groaned again before walking over and grabbing taehyun off of beomgyu. "you will see your precious beomgyu tomorrow, now lets sleep".

the three older boys could hear taehyun's whines as he was dragged out of the room and down the hall. soobin and yeonjun then turned to face beomgyu.

"just don't- don't take things too far". the youngest of the three nodded before walking towards the door, "see you tomorrow?".

the other two nodded silently as they watched their friend leave the dorm. "do you think he'll be okay after?"... "i'm not sure"
