Not much is known about Eva and Serena's pasts, only that they are siblings and both watched their parents turn. Together they escaped and founded the start of the group by searching for other survivors. Serena is a skilled assassin due to training with multiple weapons and although she prefers her katana and throwing daggers, she is also well trained with a bow and arrow; close range combat; spear combat; and axe combat. Apart from this she is a very kind and intelligent girl who takes it as her responsibility to heal those injured. Her sister carries her herbs for her and they are usually never more than a metre apart from each other unless Serena trusts someone else to look after Eva.
