ONE THING THAT CONFUSED YOU THE MOST WAS: BABY FOOD. Yes, a baby needs to eat a healthy amount of food containing the correct vitamins and minerals, but why is the food the most weirdest combinations ever.
"Carrot, potato and hotpot lamb?" You say to yourself. Well, it sounds delicious when it's all layout out on a plate, but mashed up in a tiny glass jar. Ew. Unfortunately, you couldn't be rambling more on futile topic since Dosei's bedtime was soon.
But you let out one more gag at the thought before grabbing a spoon, Bib covered in tiny race cars patterns, a packet of crisp ( or chips, I'm British), and made your way upstairs. On your way, you heard loud gigglesβbelonging to Dosei of courseβ growing louder as you went close for your door.
Or so you thought as you opened to door to see Kuroo alongside the baby, both laughing on the ground as their tears fell down their faces.
"Dosei.."
"Huh?" The baby said.
Kuroo, trying not to burst out with laughter, replied, "....oyaβ" the player couldn't finish his sentence, thanks to his volcano sounding of a laugh with Dosei who couldn't help hiccuping through his giggles.
"Boys.." You sighed after placing the food on your bed then rolling Dosei over, off his belly and lifting him on the bed next to you.
"It seems that I have missed something." You assumed the obvious, after putting the bib on Dosei and feeding him his dinner. The volleyball player finally got over his giggles and sat up and wiped his tears away.
"Oh my god, I love that child." He confessed.
You smiled, "And I think he loves you too. Now can you finish up the instrumental for the song?"
"Mhm!" Kuroo jumped up and brought your laptop over to the bed. sitting on the over end closer to the window, he waited for your music software program to load up. "What else is there to do?"
"We need to add some little sounds at the back, to elevate the song more." You responded, before doing the aeroplane rhyme for Dosei. "Oh, and we need to record the song as well with the girls."
Kuroo thought for a moment. "If you want to elevate the song, what about some hi-hats for the chorus?"
"Hi-hats are used a lot in dubstep. I like that." You agreed. "Maybe even some snare drums right at the beginning."
"A lot of heys in the beginning." Kuroo pointed out. "It's Kpop we're talking about, in speaking maybe even some harmonies too, and maybe inversion*.."
You were truly amazed by Kuroo's knowledge and creative ideas in music, Dosei's food falling off his soup back in the jar didn't snap you back into reality. He was kinda like you when it came to science, testing your brain to its limits and beyond.
"Kuroo! You're a genius!" You exclaimed joyously, before feeling his finer touch your lip shushing you since a little Dosei so happened to fall asleep right on your pillow. An 'oh' came out of your mouth, then gently and quietly as you could carry the baby in your arms and walked him over to his room.
You softly place your sleeping brother back into his blue crib, before kissing his little nose and covering him with his little cotton blue blanket.
"Cute." You were startled by Kuroo whispering next to your ear as he looked down at Dosei.
"Jesus don't scare me like that, Kuroo.." you whispered back. He looked down at you briefly before replying.
"Tetsuro."
"Huh?" You looked up at him, he chuckled at your lost expression.
"Call me Tetsuro." He repeated, "Isn't it fair?"
"Yeah, I guess you are right." He is right since he calls you by your first name however it did feel weird calling Tetsuro, Tetsuro. Since first name bases and usually used between people with a very close relationship.
The two of you returned to work, you sat across fromΒ Tetsuro on your bed with your laptop on his lap while eating some crisps, while you set up a mic stand ready to record your part.
You were excited to record the song, it reminded you of your Dad when he would record songs, writing little melodies for baby you.
You miss your father a lot.
"You ready?" Kuroo placed the headphones on your head and then fixed your glasses due to the headphones pulling them back a bit. You nodded in response, then music started to play.
Your first recording wasn't great, your flow was perfectly fine however your pronunciation wasn't as great as you expected.
Some tries you felt like giving up, but fortunately, you had Tetsuro by your side pushing you on.Β You were thankful for his encouragement.
His (in Kuroo's words) ascendency, motivated you more to push through and finish your verse.Β After a good couple of hours you completed your task, you let out a triumphant groan ( whatever that is) and threw your hands in the air.
"You did it!"Β Before you knew it a tired Kuroo threw his arms found their way around your waist, making the both of you fall back down in the bed.
"Get off me!" You tried to come off scary but a little giggle that slip out of your lips ruined your vibe. You gave in and wrapped your arms loosely around his neck.
"I don't think you want me to." Tetsuro chuckled with you. You know. There are these moments in movies where two people are in this exact moment and you know what's going to happen, and they know what's going to happen.
There's an indirect agreement with you and the characters on the screen, that one out of two things are going to happen. Sometimes both, and both seemed to be the right answer here. Hit the love violin song and overdramatise and uncomfortable writing button.
The two of you remained silent, your body was gently pressed against Tetsuro's, apart from his soft pink plump lips. The peculiar yet thrilling sensation between the two of you grew as the volleyball player gradually lean in.
Your breath hitched as his own brushed against your lips. Your finger trailed his jawline as your other hand rested on his shoulder for literally fucking reason just when his soft plump lips were about to touch your own.
If it was for your friends falling out of the door, scaring both you and Tetsuro jumped away from each other.
"Get off me!" You heard Hina squeal from the bottom.
Genuny followed behind, "Hold on lemmeβOW!" The girl was cut off by Keisha joining the pile and jumped on top of Genuny, before realising you had to witness three Humpty Dumpty's falling down on your carpet floor.
The girl tried to play resting her head on her hand and putting on the most stupidest smirk ever, "So how ya'll doin'?"
