YOU WERE IN A COURAGEOUSLY GOOD MOOD TODAY. You weren't stressed, conflicted but harmonious an antonym to conflicted. Expressing yourself in this way, to some it was a little adjustment to your appearance. But to you, it was a challenge, a quest for you to accomplished and evolve into a new and improved you.
"Y/N! You're wearing your glasses!" A deep voice geek'd out like a teenager girl from the inside of the gym. Your head gradually turned to the side to face a gobsmacked Kuroo leaning against the sliding door with his jaw on the ground.
You, clearly embarrassed in front of a group of people who were even paying attention, hastily pushed into the empty rim hall, ignoring his slurred lines of complete gibberish.
"Shh! It's not a big deal!" You contradicted your previous thoughts away as you hushed the black-haired boy. You looked away from Kuroo and examined the gymnasium. "So this is where you play volleyball?"
"Yeah!" Kuroo nodded after attending to his duties, "We don't have any practice after today, because of the fairβ" The male was cut off by you. You are walking around with your head in the clouds allowing your curiosity to conquer your mind.
You had that adorable expression you would do when your focus on something, making your cheeks irresistible to pinch, the glasses that framed your face perfectly weren't making it any better, for the captain. He walked up behind you as you examined the net, "Wanna play a game?"
You scoffed, "No! No, I don't."
"Hmm... yeah you do," Kuroo smirked.
You shook your head at him, "I don't."
"Yeah, you do."
"I do not!"
"Mhm?" He questioned, "Tell me why.."
"I will!" You passive-aggressively replied, "Volleyball may be an exhilarating and competitive sport from the audience and players' perspective. But I, a person with no interest in the sport, couldn't possibly enjoy something youβ ah!"
A volleyball hit against your hands and your stomach but the force of the ball had caused you to fall right on your ass. You looked at Kuroo, he was laughing down at you. You felt like steam was coming out of your ears, "Game on!" You growled.

You didn't expect yourself to be fairly good at the sport. Well, Kuroo was three points ahead only because you hit the net a couple of times, technically he was ahead because of your mistakes.
"Not a bad game Y/N." Kuroo shook your hand finishing the small game. You shook his hand in return before grabbing your bags and walking out with him to the main school building. "I have quite the...ascendancy on you."
"Ditto!" You were clearly shocked by the male's choice of words, "Ascendancy meaning influence."
He nodded, "Mhm, and~ occupation of a position of dominant power or influence." There's the catch.
"You got that from Google didn't you?" You questioned with a raised eyebrow and your arms crossed.
"What if I did? That's a secret I'll never tell."

The first part of the school day continued a little different than before. You were getting compliments for your new look, not only from your friends (praising you for wearing them outside your home) but from other people resulting in your self-esteem increasing rapidly. Course Akira and her friends were doing their mean girl things, but to be honest:
You could tell she was pissed off. Hence the phrase four eyes, in your definition.
"I can't believe we have Mr Yume for cover class after lunch!" Keisha squealed as the two of you walked down the halls near the end of lunch period.
"Huh really ?" You were confused since after lunchtime it was science class with Miss Niko, you assumed she was off for the rest of the day, despite her being present this morning.
"You shouldn't question your destiny, Y/N," Keisha tutted with disappointment, "Mr Yume is a dream girls say he's like the Japanese Kirk Douglas come to life. That name sounds hot to me."
"You said that in history when we were learning about Prince Philip," You recalled with a little cheeky smile.
The two of you walked up to the science room, you both took a little peek inside the empty classroom, only to see a very old man taking a sip of his coffee and reading the newspaper. "My point exactly."
"Ew! It looks like he's shredding skin!" Keisha cringed before gasping, "He could be a snake, I hear that American celebrities are lizards and snakes!"
"You were watching conspiracy videos last night?" You figured.
Keisha scoffed as the bell signalled the end of lunch, "Bold of you to assumed that Y/N."
"Yeah anyway, I'm gonna go give Miss Nizo my and Kuroo's permission slip," You played the note a little in your hand before looking up at Keisha once more, "Tell Mr. Yume I'll be back." The girl nodded before you left your bag with her and walked all the way to the science block.
You arrived at the classroom, through the same window on the top, the curtains at the back of the room were closed but a little light sneak out. Despite your assumptions being she wasn't in the classroom, you still knocked.
No reply.
You knocked again before walking in, gasping at the room's state; papers were lying around everywhere and chairs, desks and random equipment were destroyed.
"Jesus..." That was all you had to say.
