the sun was shining brightly as two boys sat on a small blanket at their local park.

they had chosen a secluded area, which just happened to be next to the river and many flowers.

it was just the perfect spot.

"say ahh"

the older of the two boys picked up a strawberry and turned to look at his boyfriend with a cheeky smile on his face.

said boyfriend stared at him, mouth not opening even an inch.

"oh come on, you love it when i feed you"

those words made a smile form on the younger boys face and he stared up into his boyfriend's eyes before opening his mouth to receive the red fruit.

and through mumbled words, he spoke,

"you're right, i do"

the two boys admired each other despite the very obvious sweat that was forming on their faces from the heat of the sun.

"have i ever told you how pretty you are?"

the older boy leaned closer, if he even could since they were practically on top of each other, and rested his hand on his boyfriend's cheek.

he then wiped away a small drop of sweat as his boyfriend leaned into his hand.

"yes you have. every day, Gyu"

the younger boy spoke as the soft smile stayed on his face and he reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind Beomgyu's ear.

even that one small gesture made Beomgyu's cheeks grow pink.

Taehyun didn't dare make the first move though, because to him, his boyfriend was delicate and could break with any fast movement.

"don't stare at me like that.."

Beomgyu finally spoke, his voice coming out softer than he wanted, and Taehyun just tilted his head.

"like what?"

"like i'm the most fragile thing in this world"

Taehyun's smile only grew as he scrunched his nose and crossed his legs over his lovers.

"because you are.. you're perfect"

Beomgyu didn't know what to say. he was just so in love with the boy in front of him. so he didn't speak, and let his body speak for him instead.

the pair met in the middle with what would look like a short kiss to others, but to them it was everything and more. their lips moved against one another like they were made for kissing each other, and each other only.

Taehyun took this small chance to move himself on top of his boyfriend, trapping the older boy between his legs.

they pulled away with a laugh.

"what are you doing?"

Beomgyu was the first to speak, his voice slowly fading as Taehyun let his body fall down and embrace the older boy in a hug.

"i seriously can't imagine being with anyone but you"

it wasn't often when Taehyun was all soft and romantic, so Beomgyu took advantage of this rare moment and wrapped his arms around the boy.

"i love you"

"i love you too'

this was just a short little chapter to calm down from all the darker stuff i've been writing recently 😭
