Her Sib from the Same Crib.
K A M E K O
Today was the day. Kameko hated today. She despised it.
Today she had gym first period, and if that weren't bad enough, a new transfer student arrived.
Kameko touched her torso with her cold fingers, the last place he touched her.
-
"Hey, Pipsqueak." Aiko's voice rang through the hallway.
"What is it, loser? Kameko was in no mood for talking today.
"There's the cutest new transfer student! He's so my type." She gushed on. "And looks surprisingly like you."
Kamekowiggled her eyebrows at her as they entered the gym. "Does that mean I'm cute and your type?"
"No way, stupid" Aiko snorted.
"Everyone, please settle down. We have a new student today." The teacher gestured towards the boy.
Wow. Aiko was right. He did look like me, with his brown hair and similar facial features.
"Aha. I HAVE FOUND MY GENDERBENT SELF."
The boy's voice snapped me back to reality, " Hello, my name's Maaku. Nice to meet you."
Kameko looked up and their eyes connected for a split second and he ran towards me.
"Oh my god. He's going to takedown me. KAMEKO DOWN. I REPEAT. KAMEKO DOWN."
She cringed and braced for the impact. Instead of feeling the floor against her back – like she expected- she felt warm hands embracing her.
Kameko began to panic, "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?"
She tried to weasel out of his arms, but man, his grip was tight.
He finally let go, "Welcome back, I missed you."
"...Who are you..?" She had no idea.
He looked hurt, "I'm your brother. Your twin sibling."
SHe was now even feeling a little more panicky, "Ok, first of all, let go of me. You stink of B.O.".
He blushed and finally released her.
"Secondly, when you say 'brother' and 'sibling', do you mean like 'sib from another crib' or..?" She was über confused.
"Nope." Maaku popped the 'p', "We're blood related."
"Wait. So my mom hid my long lost brother from me? Ha. My mom would never do such a thing." She reasoned and turned away from him.
"Then why don't you ask them..?" He asked.
The atmosphere of the room suddenly got drearier. "..They're dead.."
"Keep thinking that, sister of mine." He smirked as the bell rang, and headed out of the gym.
-
Kameko sighed, "My brother, huh..?"
"Oi, pancake. Who were you hugging in the gym today?" Ayato's voice spoke up.
"He's.. my brother..?" She was questioning herself.
He snorted, "Right. But because you touched someone besides me, you must be punished."
This time, she rolled her eyes, "Punished. Right."
He grabbed her wrist before she could say anything and began to pull her off her bed.
"Hey, what're you doin-" She started to complain.
"Snake." He whispered in her ear.
"Eep!" Kameko squeaked and allowed Ayato to pull her into the bathroom.
"Here, now stay still." He ordered and plopped her down onto the floor and grabbed a bucket.
"What's he gonna do? Sud me to death? Death by soap. I like it." She wondered as Ayato came back with the bucket filled.
"Hey, so what're yo-" She began.
Splash.
"ACK. ARGG." Kameko screeched.
She was now soaked from head to toe with f*cking ice cold water.
"Hehe. Now you're cleaned and clean." He snickered, but sniffed the air. "Maybe once more, his smell is still lingering onto you."
He went to refill the bucket. Her senses were still numb and she was shivering. She began to stand up until.
Splash.
He sniffed the air again, "That's odd. Why isn't the smell coming off? Should I have used hot water instead?"
"N-no. That's m-m-my smell. W-we're related." She spluttered and weakly knocked the now empty bucket out of his hands.
"At least you can't complain of smelling like rotten gym socks, like you did yesterday."
"V-very f-f-funny." She shivered as Ayato threw her a towel.
She looked up gratefully.
"You don't know how pathetic you look right now." He began to laugh.
Kameko had to admit, she probably looked really stupid, with her hair wet and droopy and her uniform drenched.
But in spite of that, she smirked and looked up at him, "You know, it would've been smart to wait till I at least wore white. What a shame."
Ayato's eyes widened, "Tch."
She slowly stood up and left the bathroom. She flopped back down onto her bed and closed her eyes.
"Ah~~? Look Kanato, doesn't Kitty look cute all wet?" A voice cooed.
"If you ask me, she looks really pathetic." Kanato's voice responded.
Kameko grunted as she opened her eyes and sat up. Her hair was still wet, so her shirt was sticking to her back.
"What do you want? To cover me in dirt again so you can soak me again?" She grumbled and covered her face with a pillow.
"Nfu~ that won't do, Kitty, we want to talk with you. Let's play!" Laito grabbed the pillow and threw it on the other side of the room.
"Hey, my pillow!" Kameko whined. "Fine, let's get this over with."
She stood up and faced the triplets. "Can we play a guessing game..? A game where I guess your past? "
They looked a little surprised, but agreed, nonetheless.
"You only have three chances." Kanato told her.
Kameko pondered over their past. "Umm, did you guys own a pet?"
"No."
"Had a girlfriend..?"
"No, you'll never guess our past."
"Oh, shut up." She paused.
"Might as well go with the most ridiculous story ever."
"Uh, ok. Um.. Did you guys all gang together to kill your mom? Imma guess that Ayato was hated by his mother because she wanted him to be the best. He finally cracked and injured his mother. Next I'm going to say that possibly Laito pushed her off a balcony, nearly ending her life. Lastly, Kanato used his fire manipulation to burn her corpse." Kameko breathed and eyed the brothers.
None of them spoke.
Kameko was confused, "What..? Don't tell me. I got it right?"
"..."
"..Oh. Okay."
Awkward.
"..Kameko, how did you know that..?" Kanato was hesitant with his question.
"Huh? Oh lucky guess.. Ahaha- wait. This isn't funny." She deadpanned.
The silence was getting to her, so she began to leave her (emphasis on her) room. They've dominated her territory. The next thing she'll know, the triplets would've also wolfed down her chocolate and used her coconut-scented shampoo.
And touching her shampoo, was a no-no.
"I'm such a nincompoop."
But before she left, someone grabbed her wrist. Can people stop doing that?! They could at least grab her non-dominant hand. Yeesh.
Kameko was feeling bad about their past, so when Ayato pinned her against the wall, she didn't protest. It was probably due to the fact that their childhoodbeing really messed up, so she decided- her blood was going to be sucked.
Like a packet of Kool-aid.
Instead of going for her neck though, Ayato seemed to look at her lips- which were pursed into a thin line. He inched closer and he kissed her.
She finally snapped to her senses and pushed him away.
HER LIP-GINITY. WTF. SHE'S NO LONGER A MOUTH VIRGIN.
"Asshole!" She hissed and ran out of her room.
It's fine. She'll just camp out in one of their rooms. As revenge, she also brought some whip cream and paint along with her.
One thing was a given: that was not a kiss. She would not believe that was her first kiss. It was completely, and utterly, unacceptable. Unlike her teachers, who felt that things that were considered 'unacceptable', she did not want to make him redo it. Never in a million years. Quickly turning into another path, she stood in the doorway.
"Heh." Kameko laughed and entered Ayato's room, forgetting the tingling feeling on her lips.
