Iridium, home of the Saber-Toothed Tigers or Sabers as the locals say. Iridium was founded by Richard Alcott and Iris Penhollow in 1743. Named Iridium after the Greek goddess of the Rainbow and Iris' namesake, Iris.

Iridium is home to humans and a safe haven for supernatural creatures, it is also a massive tourist spot. To most, Iridium looks like a paradise, kind of like Hawaii, if a visual is needed.

Monarch-Belle University, the most prestigious university in Iridium and the current home of The Knights of Evercrest. Founded in 1806 by Jonathan Monarch and Valentine Rowenger, named after Jonathan Monarch's wife, Talia Monarch, and Valentine Rowenger's daughter, Wilhelmina Belle, both who died the year before the school had opened.

For years, Monarch-Belle strived in its ability to produce prominent and successful supernaturals. But as the years went on, the number of supernaturals that have attended. In 1996, Monarch-Belle opened its doors to mundanes as well. It is the only school in the world that caters to mundanes.

"A new school year means new drama." Cameron smiled at Ellie and Cassie as they walked down the steps, books in hand.

"What is it with you and drama, Cam?" Cassie chuckled looking at her friend.

"I can't help it. Drama is the only thing that makes this damn place exciting." Cameron chuckled.

"You're a seer. You can practically see the drama before anyone else." Cassie chuckled.

"You know that's not how my powers work." Cameron smiled lightly.

"Don't forget that the Council is sending over replacements this week. So the only drama that you guys should be worrying about are the newcomers." Ellie said bluntly, stopping dead in her track to at the girls before walking off.

"I forget she has to assess the newcomers as well," Cassie said as she watched the blonde walk away.

"No, she just needs to get laid," Cameron stated bluntly which caused Cassie to chuckle and lightly push her. "What? We both know that it's true."

"Come on, lets go or else she might lock us out of the house." Cassie said before they started to chase after their friend.

Once in the manor, the girls threw their books onto the table before heading down to the basement, and then made their way into the sanctum. Ellie walked down the steps leading into the sanctum, Cassie and Cameron not far behind. Their steps echoed on the stone with each step they took.

Pushing open large metal doors with just a flick of her wrist, she walked into the main room of the sanctum. "Listen up, sometime this week, the Council will send over some replacements for us to assess and validate the ones they have chosen." Ellie said to the seven other knights that were lounging around.

"Let's hope that the new replacements aren't a bunch of sissies. Sure they are the best and brightest of their species but pick people who won't cry every time Ellie yells at them." Nick said chuckling at the last part.

"They should just have them go up against Ellie. She is scarier than any vampire, rougarou, ghoul or demon any day." Dre stated.

"I hope you idiots know that I can hear you." Ellie said not looking up from her grimore. "And thank you for the compliments." She smiled before walking away.

The boys looked at Ellie as she walked away and shook their heads. "She does know that we weren't complimenting her, right?" Dre asked.

Nick raised his arms up slightly in defeat, "Honestly, I don't know about her anymore." He sighed

"Ellie is under a lot of stress with being the leader of the Knights, choosing what missions we go on and then let's not forget it was her decision to go after Rheva and she blames herself for what happened." Cameron said as she moved to sit on the arm
