In the year 1486, a year after King Henry VII took the throne of England, Katherine Laurent declared war on both the human and monster world.

However no human dared to fight which made King Henry VII furious, but when a man comes to him and says the only way to stop a witch is with an army, an army of creatures just as deadly.

Alexander Coventry, a simple shepherd with noble blood, and a bastardized man was tasked with commanding the army of monsters. Alexander recruited the most fearsome and loyal soldiers that he could find. Thirteen men with extraordinary abilities

They were branded with the name, The Monster Army, by the King and the other Mundanes. 8 months had passed before they got their chance to face Katherine. Four hours later, four dead and nine injured, Katherine was captured.

Katherine Laurent's reign of terror was over. Sentenced to be burn and with one vow, a vow that she would one day return to finish what she started.

The remaining men of the 'Monster Army' were bestowed knighthood for their heroic actions. And with their new founded knighthood, they were granted gifts and a new name. They now known as the Knights of Evercrest, protectors of monsters and mundanes.

The Knights of Evercrest thrived for many centuries but in the shadows. As the world changed, they did to. Future generations were groomed to become knights themselves.

Today, the numbers of The Knights of Evercrest have dwindled drastically but the few that are left are still fighting to keep the world safe, first they have to fight the battles of the modern world and being students.
