Breaking The Connection Of The Ancestors
They were now at the Lafayette Cemetery, in the tomb awaiting for the arrival of a thirdy party. Vincent sits on the floor of the tomb within a circle as Jo stands just outside it. Lizzie soon arrives with a snarky comment "Well, there ain't no party like a cemetery party."
"Did you bring it?" Jo asked.
Lizzie pulled out the grimoire with the spell and Jo took it, flipping to the page with the spell.
"So how exactly does a we get to go to witch purgatory? I mean you and I don't go there." Lizzie asked.
"I'll use Vincent as my anchor there. " Jo said.
Jo sits down beside Vincent inside the circle and uses a knife to slice open her palm. Lizzie sits down in the middle of Vincent and Jo and also uses the knife on her palm; Vincent then repeats their actions.
"Once we cross over, we're gonna be in enemy territory. We're gonna have to move quick to get the bomb set. Otherwise the ancestors are gonna shut the three of us down." Vincent stated.
"Okay...Well maybe just make sure that doesn't happen." Lizzie said.
Vincent takes out a potion, Jo narrows her eyes staring at him and asked "Really? Hemlock?"
"Old school...Respect." Vincent said and takes Jo's hand and lays back on the floor of the tomb. Jo also takes Lizzie's hand and lays back with his eyes closed. Vincent begins to chant in order to bring them to the witch purgatory with Jo and Lizzie "Prezeve lyen lavi nou. Prezeve lyen lavi nou. Prezeve lyen lavi nou."
Jo and Lizzie gasps awake a moment later sitting up straight in the ancestral world. Vincent also awakens as they get to their feet.
Vincent is set up just outside the tomb in the dark. He sets up the depot d'argente on a stand by a wall of skulls.
"Here we go." Vincent said.
"You've done enough Vincent. You should go."Jo told him.
"When this is over the ancestors will be cut off." Lizzie said as she steps forward, thrusting him out of the ancestral world. He awakens with a gasp.
Jo and Lizzie placing their on the depot d'agente as they chants the object begins to glow "Rompriez le lien vivant. Rompriez le lien vivant. Rompriez le lien vivant. Rompriez le lien vivant. Rompriez le lien vivant. Rompriez le lien vivant."
Inside the tomb, in the world of the living the walls begin to shake, the floors rumble and the foundation cracks and crumbles.
Suddenly, Jo and Lizzie were back in their bodies and they wake up.
"Uh, guys...Pretty sure that's our cue." Jo said as they quickly get to their feet and the three of them run from the tomb.
The tomb crumbles. Bursts of fire explode from the tombs.
"Go! Go!" Vincent yelled as they take off running.
Jo, Lizzie and Vincent run as the tombs explode.
"Vincent, no one can know Davina is alive."Jo said.
"It's safer if no one knows. Until Davina is ready to come back to New Orleans. We did it to protect their children. Our father could try to kidnap the kids if he get the word that Davina is alive." Lizzie added.
"I won't tell a soul. I promise." Vincent promised.
Jo and Lizzie nodded before walking away.
At the compound, Faye was sitting on the edge of her bed when Elijah enters, emotional and panting.
"Elijah." Faye says softly, as she stands turning to face him
"Forgive me." Elijah cried gasping and dropping to his knees.
"What happened? Tell me, please." Faye whispered.
"It's Marcel. I took his life." Elijah exhaled sharply.
Faye rushes forward to comfort him.
Meanwhile, Lizzie slowly approached Klaus standing silently out on the balcony overlooking the city street.
"Nik. Are you okay?" Lizzie whispered softly.
He grunted still staring at the city.
Gently, she stepped behind him hugging him from him and said "I'm sorry... about Marcel. Elijah and Faye told me."
He places his hands on hers, affectionately rubbing them before twisting around to face her. Tears pooling in his eyes.
"Oh Nik."Lizzie then said, hugging him tightly burying her face in the crook of his neck.
"Elijah killed him. Marcel...he was giving up. He wasn't going to hurt me." Klaus growled angrily.
"I had a vision. Marcel would have plinged a weapon in your chest, killing you. He'd have killed Elijah and..." Lizzie told him as she pulled back.
"You agree with them then..." Klaus told her.
"No. I don't believe Marcel should have died, but he need to be found in case he did have foolish intentions." Lizzie cut off and Klaus rolled his eyes.
"You lost Marcel... I get that. The man you saw as a son. But the second we implanted the fake memories in his head and made him believe that Davina was dead, the girl he saw as his daughter..." Lizzie continued as she place her hand on his shoulder.
"You're saying his grief and anger would lead him to murder our family." Klaus says.
"People can be triggered by all sorts of different things. Believe me, I know." Lizzie shrugged.
Klaus goes silent.
"You should forgive him. He is still your brother." Lizzie cautiously expressed.
"He can rot in hell for all I care." Klaus scoffed.
Lizzie exhaled "Nik after everything that you have done, all the people that you've threatened, tortured, killed, all the pain that you have put him through, he has always forgiven you. You have to forgive him."
Elsewhere, Elijah stands in front of the fire place looking at the flames as Faye enters the room.
"It was the only way to be sure, Elijah; and Klaus I think part of him sees that already. But more than anything you have to forgive yourself."Faye told him.
Elijah turns to face her, tears in his eyes as he walks past her. He then stops and turns back, rushing toward her and kissing her passionately.
