Chapter 8- Feed You

The twin were finally sleeping soundly for their afternoon nap on the trains blanket I placed on the floor for them.

FINALLY!

I collapse onto the rocking chair. The chair rocks back immediately after I sat down on it. Startled, I grab onto the chair hand just in case the chair falls backwards. It didn't even go that far when the top of the chair hit the wall.

I really wasn't expecting a rocking chair to rock.

After realising that I'm safe from falling, I let out a sigh of relief with my hand on my chest, feeling my heart beat quickly.

The noise of chuckling and a shutting door startles me again making flinch.

"Calm down, it's just me." My stupid butler chuckles again. "I'm not a murderer nor a Leo or Lea, so you're safe."

I smile at his attempt of a joke. "You're not funny, Zayden." I say crossing my arms under my chest. He stares there for a short moment then back at my face with a smirk. "You're disgusting." I roll my eyes and drop my arms.

"I am funny. You're just boring." He places a silver platter on the coffee table and removes the cloche from on top revealing a slice of red velvet cake and some cookies neatly placed on two separate plates.

I gasp and pout. "I can be funny. And no you aren't." I reach over to take a cookie from the plate only to get a slap on my wrist. "Ow.. What was that for?"

He picks up the plate with cake. "The cookies are for the demon kids when they wake up."

"Okay..." I drawl out. "Then give me the cake."

"No."

"What?"

"I said no."

I furrow my eyebrows. "But then why did you bring food here if I can't have any? That's not very polite."

"The cake is for you."

"Then why aren't you giving it to me?"

"I'm going to feed it to you."

"What?"

"You heard what I said." He smirks taking up a fork.

"No."

"What?"

"I said no."

"Then you aren't getting any of the cake." He says with an expressionless stare and shrugs.

I gasp frowning deeply and cross my arms. "You don't show me food and then tell me that I can't have any."

"Then let me fee--"

"No."

He sighs in frustration. "You're so stubborn. Isn't your butler suppose to do everything for you?"

"On my command."

"Well, I didn't bring this cake on your command yet it's for you."

Stupid facts.

I groan in frustration and roll my eyes. "Fine." I mumble biting my bottom lip.

"What?"

"You heard what I said." I mock with a smirk on my face.

"I guess you won't be getting any cake then." He says shaking his head. He then takes turns around and starts to stroll to the door.

"Where are you going?"

He looks at me from over his shoulder. "Returning the cake."

I groan crossing my arms across my chest and pout like a child. "Ugh. Fine."

"I didn't hear you~!" He drawls out the word you.

"I'll eat the stupid cake!"

"But will you let me feed you?" He smirks turning around.

I roll my eyes and nod. "But only once. After that, I'm eating the rest of the cake by myself."

"So you aren't going to let me have piece?"

"Exactly"

"Why not?"

"You're bribing me with cake."

He shrugs walking back over to me. "Sounds fair." He says taking the fork and cuts a bite size piece from the cake calmly despite my glares.

He chuckles with that piece of cake on the fork. "Don't look at me like that."

"These are my eyes not yours. I can look at what I want."

He smirks mischievously arching an eyebrow. "And you chose to look at me?" Then he adds, "Or was it my hair?"

I felt a blush creep up my neck and I forced it not to come any further by folding my lips. I look away still with my arms crossed. "Are you feeding me this cake or not?"

He chuckles again in amusement. "Okay. Okay, princess. You're wish is my command."

I face him again watching him place the plate down. He squats down in front of my a bit lower that my height, since I'm sitting down.

It's makes me feel really short. Or maybe he's just really tall? Either way, I feel short.

I close my eyes tightly and open my mouth slightly ONLY FOR THE CAKE.

When I tasted the red velvet cake on my tongue, I close my mouth feeling the fork being pulled out.

I let out a sound of satisfaction because of the cake's taste. It was so delicious! I wanted more!

I open my eyes to see Zayden staring at me weirdly. I knew I was blushing.

As I said before, I blush at everything.

"What a sound, Lucky. What a sound." He says as he stands up and places the fork on beside the cake, on the plate.

"A sound that you'll never hear again."

He shrugs grinning. "Well I heard it once, and that's good enough for me." He says with a smirk. "So I'm guess Red velvet is your favourite?" I nod. "That means you like chocolate cake too?"

I instantly scrunch up my nose and cringe. "Ew. No. Chocolate cake is disgusting."

Silence.

"Lucky."

I was not going to answer to that name. "Yea?" Screw you mouth. You never listen to the brain.

"You do know that red velvet cake is a type of chocolate cake, right?"

My eyes widen and I blink a few times in shock. "It is?" He nods slowly and gives me a moment to process it.

"B-but... It's so yummy. A-and chocolate cake is so... Ugh." I cover my mouth faking a gag. "I don't care red velvet cake will always be the best." I say as I take up the the plate of cake with a fork and eat another piece.

"Oh my gosh, Maddy. You're so shupid." I hear a male's child's voice say.

"Even I knew that." And there's the female version.

The twin are up.

They are nibbling both on a cookie each with rest of the cookies in front of them on a plate. I sigh as Zayden laughs lightly watching the annoying four year olds. They might look calm and friendly now but as soon as those cookies are gone, they won't be little angels anymore.

"I can't wait until your mother come for you two. I really need to talk to her."

Madison has two characters as her now. Emma Stone and Madelaine Petsch. I'm using both of them. Maddy has green eyes though. You can imagine her as who you want.

So I hope you like this chapter. I felt really weird when writing the part with her eating the cake. 😂
