Chapter 6
(Imagine that the purple hair is red and that it's night and the grayish hair is black)
The two children walked down he streets silently but cautiously, not wanting to wake anything that dwelled or walked in the night. The children continued to do so in a pace that should've worried many, but it didn't for a strange reason.
The dark, endless road only seemed to go on into all eternity.
But an eternity was only a moment.
The two children continued to talk and laugh as the endless road winded around the large buildings that pierced themselves into the sky.
They eventually found themselves playing tag nearby a precipice.
"You can't catch me!" the red head shouted.
"I will!" the boy shouted, hand outstretched to tag the girl.
They continued to play tag around the open field.
The duo eventually reached a precipice. The precipice had green fields of nice tall grass that jutted out of the ground. The boy tackled the female and rolled around the area, playing all sorts of games.
Games like Tag, Card games, etc. this went on for some time. Sooner or later, they exhausted themselves.
They laid out a large silver blanket for them to lie down on. They panted, letting out laughs that could be heard for miles on end as they told each other jokes as they were gazing at the stars as they danced across the sky.
"The sky is pretty today." The younger Miranda muttered as she tapped the younger Cyrus's shoulder.
The boy blushed a little as he responded "Y-Yeah, I guess."
"But you know...... This was fun. I've never been outside the castle before. Funny thing though, I see Mark out there in the distance." She pointed towards a far away tree in which her brother hid behind.
"Let's allow him to believe that he hasn't been seen." the boy replied, giving her a large grin.
The girl smiled as she took his hand into her own, causing the boy's cheeks to heat up as he released a vivid blush all over his face as the girl gave him a quick grin.
"Hey Cyrus, do you think we can ever make peace in this world?" she asked.
The boy hesitated at the question before replying "U-uh yeah... Why do you ask that?"
The girl pursed her lips. "Because... It's the fact that the Ylistralans continue to antagonize us, yet there is no war. I'm afraid that if this continues, we'll be in a ho-"
Cyrus pressed a finger to Miranda's lips as to silence her for he knew what words were to come out of her mouth.
"NOTHINGS gonna happen, you hear? There will be no war between our countries." he interjected, grin forming.
Miranda just stared at him, wide eyed as he pulled her in for an embrace.
Both children blushed a deep red (without each other knowing). They pulled away.
But they were interrupted abruptly by some men in black.
