Y/n POV
~Memory~
I remember when I was 4 and in preschool I was new and I instantly made friends with 4 boys their names were Denis, Corl, Sketch, and Sub.

I was meeting my pre-k teacher with my mom for the first time and someone had caught my eye.
It was a boy hiding behind his mom and staring at me with emerald green eyes.

When I caught him staring at me I looked back at him and smiled while waving. He just hid behind his mom again.

I turned towards Corl with a confused face and he shrugged his shoulders.

Later when we were at lunchtime I walked towards Denis and Corl who were waving me over to their table.

When I walked over there, I sat by them and started chatting with them when I saw the boy I had seen earlier.

Denis saw me looking and asked "who are you looking at y/n"

I turned around "that kid at that other table I've never seen him before" Denis looked at him too.

"Oh him he's the new kid his name is Sub" he says casually.

I stand up "Why is nobody with him." Sketch scratched his head and said "maybe he is shy"

Corl says "No he just won't talk to anyone" while biting out of his sandwich I smacked it out of his hands and said "Well I'm gonna go talk to him"

Denis smiles "Yeah we should all go."

Corl picks his sandwich up again giving me the dirty look and says "He seems weird maybe you should go talk to him and introduce us to him"

Denis slams the sandwich out of Corl's hand "That's a great idea!"

Corl groans "Oh come on" and picks up the sandwich again "can I just have one bite without anyone knocki-"

I knocked the sandwich out of his hands and got up "Yeah I'll do it!"

Corl tossesthe sandwich "You know what I'm done with this I'm not hungry anymore" he pouts.

I was walking when a bully Biff got in my way I tried to move to the left he moved again. I put my hands on my hips raised my eyebrow and looked at him.

This was my signature move called the look when I was mad, angry, or didn't believe in someone.

I said "Biff I was going somewhere" I say sarcastically signaling him to move. He says "so you can go talk to the new dork."

I took a deep breath "He is not a dork Biff I bet he is just shy that's all." Biff smirked "so you're gonna go talk to him"

I looked him in the eye "yes now can you please move." He cocked his head "No what are you gonna do about it?"

He kept repeating it over and over again and soon his friends joined in. I grew irritated and kneed him where the sun doesn't shine.

He jumped back in pain and his friends stepped aside and let me walk towards Sub's table.

I sat down next to him and waved at him "Hi I'm Y/n me and my friends were just talking about you" I say pointing to my friends and they waved I signaled them to come over.

He smiles and takes out his chalkboard and writes "I'm Sub" I look at him and say "Don't talk much. He shakes his head.

Our teacher Mrs. Sandra came over and smiled when she sees me talking to him. "Y/n I see you are talking to the new student soon you will become friends" she says we sboth smile as she walks away.

My friends finally came. Sketch asked "Hey I'm Elijah what's your name?" Denis leaned on him and whispered I told you its Su-"

Sketch elbowed him and Denis said "Oooh."

He sat up and said "Hey Denis nice to meet ya this is ma pal Braden" he says pointing to Corl.

Corl waves "hey." Sub smiles and writes on his chalkboard "It's nice to meet you all I am called Sub"

I smiled "Hey Sub wanna be friends" He smiled and nodded. We all did a group hug and high-fived each other.

STILL IN Y/N'S POV
I blinked twice "SUB?!" He smirked and combed his hair with his hand "Y/n long time no see."

I hugged him and he hugged back. "I missed you." I said pulling away from him.

"I missed you too Y/N/N (Your nickname)" he said smiling.

Alex was alarmed and raised his eyebrow "Wait you know her too?"he said. Sub nodded.

Corl spoke "She actually introduced us to him." Alex said "Wow what have I been missing out on?"

Sub turned towards me and smiled nervously (Gotta love his smile though :D ) "So Y/N are you and Sketch back together again?"

There was an awkward silence in the room.

Sketch spoke up "Well we haven't thought about getting back together again yet."

I bit my lip and everyone just stared at each other. In the corner of my eye Alex pulled Corl out of the room.

Corl's POV
Alex pulled me into the room and asked "What the hell is going on?!" I hesitated for a moment.

I then said "What are you talking about?"

He said "When did Sketch and Y/n get together and why is everything so awkward between them?"

I said "It began when..."

*Flashback in Y/n's POV*
When We used to be in High school Biff used to bully me a lot and try to rape me. I could always fight him off until he once caught me off guard.

Afterschool I was at my locker about to get ready to go out and walk home with my friends Zion and Rita when I looked in my mirror I saw Biff behind me.

Before I could react he twisted my arm and held it against the locker.

I groaned in pain and looked around there was no one around so I tried to punch him but he dodged and held me tighter.

He evilly smiled "Miss me sweety" he says.

I arch my eyebrows at him "No get away from me before I rip your hair out and feed it to you"

He twisted my arm again and I winced in pain.

*Sketch's POV*
I had just uploaded a video on to my new account when I saw Sub staring at two people.

I was confused until I saw that It was actually Biff and Y/n I was wondering what happened.

Sub turned towards us and hand-signaled us (By the way when he was in middle school he learned sign language and started to communicate with his friends through it)

Sub was going to go over there but I placed my hand on him. He looked back at me confused but I walked past him and shouted at Biff "HEY PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!"

He slowly turned around "Hey watch who ya talking to ya twerp"

I slowly took a deep breath "Get your hands off of her or else..." I yelled. He smirked and said "Or else what"

I punched him. Shocked he let go of Y/n and tried to punch me but I ducked and smile. He looked at me like 'Why are you smiling?'

But at that time Y/n slipped out, got on the ground, and swiped her leg tripping Biff. He landed on the ground holding his leg squealing in pain.

I walked over to Y/n and I asked "Are you ok?" She smiled and looked at me, dusting herself off "I'm fine you know I would've taken care of him myself right?"

I nervously brushed my hair with my hand so it wasn't in my face.

She curled her hair with her finger and said "But what you did right now was really sweet so thank you" flashing her crystal-like E/c eyes.

I started sweating and wiped my forehead "S-sure s-so Y/n I w-was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me sometime."

She lifted an eyebrow "Sure I would love to whe-." Her friend Zion interrupted her yelling "Hey girl!"

I looked back at an annoyed Sub and friends and walked towards them waving bye to Y/n she waved too.

*Y/n's POV*
Elijah walked away when my friends Zion and Rita came. Zion was dressed in all pink and was even wearing a pink furry scarf while Rita was all sporty as usual. (XD I had the main character have a tomboyish girl and a girlish boy as best friends hah classic)

Zion started speaking "Oh my gosh someone's got a boyfriend is it me or is it hot in here." He says waving his scarf around, fanning himself.

I chuckled and asked "Where were you guys?" Biff started trying to stand up and I kicked him in the coconuts causing him to lean back towards the ground.

Rita rolled her eyes "I was telling this doofus to stop being such a girl I mean pink is also for boys, I get it but the scarf so unnecessary."

He frowns "Yeah like you would know you don't even act ladylike at all." She crosses her arms "Whatever"

She looked at an injured Biff and said "What's the deal with him? Why do you keep hitting him"

I bite my bottom lip thinking of an excuse "Because it's fun?" I say trying to smile.

She says "Um ok... Let's just get going the sooner I get to practice basketball with ma homies the sooner this nightmare is over"

I just nodded as we all walked home

*2 months later*
I nervously walk around, my hands in my hair, tears streaming on my face. I was going to have to tell him he had a right to know.

Elijah walks in my room and I glare at him as he notices me crying. He opens his eyes, comes over and hugs me.

I look into his eyes as he wipes the tears from my face. He asks "Y/n what's wrong what happened?"

"I'm moving!" I cried. He had a shocked expression. "What?" he says. He holds my hand as we sit on my bed.

"I'm going to New Jersey to stay with my mom, she got a new job and wants me to take over her company" I say through sobs.

He says "Good for you by all means that's amazing." I look at him sadly "b-but what about us?"

He tries to smile "Well about that we should talk about us."

I pulled away in frustration "You don't get it I'm permanently moving away!" I yell at him. He is paralyzed for a minute and stands up "Well I get it but maybe we shouldn't g-"

He puts his face in his hands. I feel sad for a minute say "You're right you are a good boyfriend I am just a bad girlfriend." I say looking down.

I look at him "What did you want to tell me?"

He takes a deep breath "I think I should go."

He starts to leave but I grab his hand and whisper "P-please"

I thought he was going to leave but he stopped "What did you say?" He turns around. I turn away and blush "Please don't leave me you are the only person I can trust with my heart so please please don't leave me"

He tells me "Put on your jacket I want to take you somewhere." I look at him confused but he walks downstairs so I put on this on

And I put my hair in a matching beret.

Elijah was waiting for me outside and grabbed my hand as we started walking there.

I asked "We aren't taking your car?" He replied "No it's just a few blocks away."

When we got there I was in awe. It was a lovely park covered in snow with a blossom tree in the middle. It seemed that the snow had covered the tree's branches and it looked peaceful.

I stared at its branches as Elijah led us to the tree. My eyes grew wide as I stared at the tree's beauty.

He smiled and said "Doesn't it look wonderful" he puts his hands in his pockets and looked anywhere but at me "I wanted to take you here a long time ago but seeing as you are going to leave now is a good time as ever I guess."

I smile "It's beautiful." Elijah sighed "I know" I turned towards him and faced him.

Elijah put his hands in his hair "Look Y/n I don't think this is working out anymore." He says it so bluntly and refuses to make eye contact.

I look at him confused. The confusion slowly turns into sadness as it hits me. "What do you mean?" I knew exactly what it meant.

He sighs again "I don't think we should date anymore." I can tell he is a little heartbroken.

My eyes widen and I am speechless after a few minutes my voice returns "Wh-why?" I turn my head and face the tree. "Um O-ok"

He says "We can still be friends though right?" I looked at him. It took me every urge in my body not to slap him. I nodded "S-sure."

We stared at each other until it was time for me to go home he offered to drive me but I had enough of him and ordered a taxi.

*Flashback ended and it is now in Alex's POV*

I looked down "S-so Elijah broke her heart"

Corl scratched his chin "Yeah from what I heard anyway we should go back."

I was still thinking when he interrupted my thoughts. "Hello earth to Alex" he says waving his hand over my face. "Right coming" I say as we walk out I see Elijah's girlfriend Shirley in the room and she was definitely staring Y/n down like crazy.

"Oh no this isn't going to go well." I mutter to myself

I know it took so long for me to publish this chapter and I am so sorry. I had tons of work to do between class and life. I was literally sitting in my room asking what life was but anyway I will definitely finish this story
