Alex's POV
I checked the mirror and combed my hair. Today was me and Y/n's date and I was getting ready to go pick her up.

I walked out of my room and went downstairs. Everyone was watching TV. Corl and Sub turned around.

"Where ya going all fancy-like Alex?" Corl said smirking Sub smiled before slowly starting to frown and turned back around.

I raised my brow "Sub are you ok? You've been acting really strange lately."

He nodded "Yeah I'm fine" and kept watching the TV. I shook my head in disbelief.

Denis said "Have a nice date Alex" Sketch sighed "Yeah have fun" he said looking at the wall.

I walked out the door and got in the car. I drove to Y/n's house and buzzed her doorbell she came out wearing this:

I blinked twice, she was beautiful.

Y/n's POV
Sofia and Danielle were doing my make up when I received a text on my phone. Sofia nodded at me "Go on pick it up." she said.

I smiled and brushed my h/c hair out of my eyes.

When I finally finished I stood up. My hair looked like this:

I went to open the door for Alex when he saw me he opened his jaw. Snow slipped between us and shut his jaw "Yeah yeah whatever just keep your paws to yourself," she said twirling the keys to her car around her finger.

Alex awkwardly smiled "I will?" he said, uncomfortably pulling on his collar. I sighed "I'm sorry Snow is a bit-" He interrupted me "Territorial?" I nodded nervously "Yeah let's go with that."

He bit his lip "So are you ready to go?" I smiled "Yeah."

We got in his car and drove us to a restaurant. We got out of the car and I stared at the restaurant from outside. "Wow cliche much?" I crossed my arms and raised my eyebrow.

He rolled his eyes and smiled "Well I didn't know where else to go," I smiled "I like it." I said as we walked inside.

A waiter directed us to a free table and gave us the menu. I blinked twice when I saw the ridiculously expensive costs for the food. "I can't pay for this," I say, looking the menu up and down "It's absolutely ridiculous."

Alex smiled "Calm down I can pay for it. Okay?" I nodded, still unsure this was happening "Okay." I said.

The waitress came and said "Good Evening and what can I get for you two today?" I sighed "Um Alex you know you don't have to pay for it all by yourself you know I can also pay for it too." He says "No it's fine I can deal with it." 

"Okay," I roll my eyes. "I'll have the F/F please" I say. "Me too" Alex says. The waitress writes it down "I will be back later with your food."

We literally just sit there for hours staring at each other in complete utter awkwardness. "So..." Alex begins "This has been the most awkward date in my entire life," I chuckle "Me too I am literally just sitting waiting for drama to hap-" 

"Um excuse me is this thing on," We hear the announcement begin "Well now it is officially kissing hours everybody kiss your hubby and if you came with your friends... Well then just hug them no one cares anyway,"

Alex laughed "Looks like you spoke to soon!" I raise my eyebrow wondering what he is laughing about "Your friends are hilarious!" He says wiping a tear out of his eye. 

I wonder 'what could he be talking about friends... What friends? Wait no he can't be serious are they no...NO! WHY CRUEL WORLD WHY?!' 

I pulled my coat on and put my hoodie over my head hoping they couldn't see me but I was too late the announcement spoke again "hey you random stranger that we do not know kiss the boy across from you" I turned around angrily searching the place until I spotted them.

 Snow and Danielle were fighting over the mic and Chloe was trying to quiet them when they all saw me they dropped the microphone and scrambled. I turned back towards Alex and smiled sweetly "I'll be back shortly..." I say, he nods.

"As soon as I kill these idiots" I mutter underneath my breath he nodded again before stopping "What?!" He said but I just angrily marched towards the mic room.

I saw them trying to sneak out the back but I caught them just in time. I put my hands around Snow and Danielle's neck and choked them "Can't... breath" They said wheezing. I was so angry "Why would you try to ruin my moment you swore by a friendships notice that you wouldn't

~What actually happened~
3rd POV
Y/n said "And I'm gonna go on a date with him so please try not to push him off a carnival wheel or into a piranha tank."

"Well to be honest we wanted to see what your boyfriend that time was doing with you up there. We just wanted to make sure he didn't touch you in any way we didn't want him to. It's not our fault the carnival wheel accidentally wobbled causing him to fall?" Danielle shrugged.

"Yeah and besides your other boyfriend deserved to get bitten by those piranhas" Snow smiled "He kept making fun of them so I accidentally pushed him in to see how they would react to him."   I weirdly looked at her "No one deserves to be eaten by those poisonous fish" I shouted

"More like lovable pieces of my heart" Snow pouted. "You know what Ugh... just promise no funny business" Y/n said while rolling her eyes. They all put two fingers up "Promise," they said in union.

But what Y/n didn't know was that they finessed her. Snow, Danielle, and Chloe all pulled out double crossed fingers from their backs. "Hey Chloe do you think that we are actually going to ruin their date." Danielle said scratching her head 

"Of course not you goofball," Snow said slapping Danielle on the back of the head "What can go wrong?" She said smiling. (Now you should know that whenever Snow smiles she has a terrible idea)

 "Many things can go wrong actually" Danielle corrected her while returning Snow's slap. They kept arguing and slapping each other on the back of the head while Chloe just shook her head. 

She finally slapped both of them on the back of their heads "Calm down guys we will make sure that our best friend will have an amazing date." 

She stopped for a minute "MWAHAHAHAHA!" Snow and Danielle stared at her like crazy but then they shrugged and started cackling too.

~Back to present~

Y/n's POV
I put my hands on my hips and gave them the look "Well?" Snow kicked at the concrete while Danielle looked at the wall.

Chloe quietly spoke up "We thought you would need a little help..." I narrowed my eyes "And what did that lead to?"

Snow curled hair around her finger "Us being in this awkward situation and you staring at us scary" she squeaked.

I nodded and sighed "for the last time girls I have my own love life that I can take care of can you focus on yours."

Chloe thought for a minute "We're sorry we should have talked to you before interfering with your date"

I rolled my eyes while Danielle ruffled through her short blonde hair with pink and purple streaks.

Chloe pulled out her phone and nevously said "Oh well look at the time we got to go somewhere see ya," and before I could say something they ran away.

I rolled my eyes and went back inside. Alex was signing a little girl's autograph and was just waving good-bye.

I try to smile "Sorry for the distractions,"I said scratching the back of my head.

He smiled "I understand anyway the waitress came with our food," he said.

I sat down "So what were we talking about again?"

~2 hours later (Spongebob voice)~

Alex's POV
We got up "I'll pay," I said as I took out my wallet.

We both got up "Well this was a lovely evening" Y/n said, "thanks for taking me out".

"Yeah I enjoyed this date too" I replied, as we walked to the car. I drove Y/n to her house and went back to my home.

I had just walked in when I saw that Denis and Corl were sitting on the couch in the living room. "Hey Alex" Corl turned around and waved.

"Hey Cork um where are Elijah and Sub?" I asked. Denis turned around and smiled "Well Sketch is going on another date with the demon and Sub's in his room," then Corl and Denis gave each other worried glances.

"What's the matter?" I ask Corl scratched his chin "Well Sub has always been in his room lately since you and Y/n um... started going out"

I thought for a minute "Well he is probably tired I'll go check on him," I said, going upstairs. Denis and Corl just switched looks and turned back towards the TV.

I knock on Sub's door. "Um Sub are you okay?" I'm met with silence as I stroke through my hair.

"Sub can I come in?" More silence just great. I lean my head against the door "Sub I'm coming in"

Finally I hear a sigh and then a voice "Hold on I'm coming" he then opens the door and I come in.

We sat on his bed as I looked at him "Sub are you okay? Is there something wrong?"I asked worried.

He shrugs "No everything's fine why do you ask?" though something seemed to be bothering him I could tell by the look on his face.

"Are you sure?" Sub snapped "Yes I'm fine now can you just leave" I stand up and sigh before leaving the room. I really don't get what's the matter what's his problem?
