Shanna/Flamey's pov

I woke up around 9:00 in the morning because I heard someone in the kitchen.

I went downstairs and saw James and Ashe cooking.

"Hey"I said while yawning.

"Hi"They said in union.

"So what are you doing?"

"Oh we are making food for christmas"

"But it's until tomorrow"

"We know"Ashe said while throwing flour to James.

"Ok?"I said confused,I went back upstairs and took a quick shower.

I came out got dressed as quickly as I could and went downstairs while I tied my hair and went to the kitchen.

"Ok so what can I help in"

"Huh?"James and Ashe said at the same time.

"Ya what can I help you guys cook"

"Oh"--James said--"Nothing that I can think of"

He grabbed an egg and aimed it at Ashe and threw it but Ashe dodged the egg.

"Oh come on their must be something"

"Well"--I heard someone say--"You can help me"

I turned around and saw Isabelle with two big boxes filled with decoration.

"Ok"I said going to her,I saw in the box rainbow colors because their was so many decoration with different colors.

There was one in particular that had flowers and a lot more that had butterflies trees and bells on and had a Santa Claus face with glitter on it.

It was amazing decorating and even more fun decorating the christmas tree.

"Hey Isabelle"I suddenly said.

"Are we going to have a christmas tree?"I asked.

"Um sure why not we always have one don't we"

"Ya I know just asking"

"Ok"

"But when are going to cut it?"

"We can do it after we finished decorating the house"

"Ok"I said excited, after 10 minutes of decorating Isabelle and I went outside Ashe and James were still cooking.

I guess they were cooking a lot of food like Ashe always does.

We looked for the smallest but not so small tree and found one after a minute or two.

We started to cut it, it took us like 10 minutes to cut it.

After we went back inside Ashe and James were on the couch watching TV.

We have a TV but since we live in the forest it's kind of hard to see anything but we still have it just in case we get super bored.

I helped Isabelle put it in a good spot in the floor and since I'm able to grow flowers,I could also grow trees.

So I made the tree grow roots so it could stay steady and not fall or something.

James helped us a little but then he left because he was helping Ashe cooking and I guess some of their food was done.

I went outside after finishing decorating the inside of our house and the tree.

It was barely 2:00 pm when I went outside,I started to feel weird like if someone was watching me.

I looked everywhere but nothing seem to be around.

I wonder what it was,I decided to go to the garden where Ashe and me trained before going there I saw it again the red glowing whispers.

"What do you want"I said a bit scared.

Nothing princess I just came to warn you

"About what?!"--"I shouted--"Their is nothing bad in my family or nothing will happen"

Or so you thought

The red light said as it glowed redder.

"What do you mean?"

After your vacation something will happen on the the last week of your school year your mom will turn back the way she was, you will learn a new power but that power you will not be able to control it and your sister Ashe will suffer more than ever

My heart pounded,why Ashe?

"When will this happen?"I said more scared than ever hearing this,that someday.

You'll find out soon enough another thing princess that necklace of yours will save your sister's life one day but very soon I can promise you that,goodbye princess and please keep in mind these words

"Ok"I said trying to process everything and from their the red light disappear.

"The same way your mom was before she will turn back"--I said--"What does that whisper mean"

I took a deep breath because I don't want her,I missed her to much to know that she would,did it meant that she will turn evil again.

No it can't be but why wait it could happen and it will because I remember seeing strips of evil inside of her.

I guess the whisper was right but what about the new power that I won't be able to control and my sister Ashe will suffer more than ever but how when to help her.

"Dammit"I yelled frustrated and punching a tree making a deep hole.

I don't like this but the good part of all of this is that my necklace will save her at the last week of the school year.

I guess I better prepare for that moment to come.

I toughed my necklace and felt good power flowing through it then it started to glow one of the diamonds glowed light green,I guess it was James who was here.

"What is it?"I said while facing him.

"Nothing,just wanted to know where were you going"

"Oh I see so you were spying on me, stalker"I said sticking my tongue out and giggled a bit.

"And no I'm not spying on you it just that when I was coming here to get wood to build a fire,I saw you talking to someone but couldn't see anybody and I thought you were talking to yourself until I see you punch the tree making a deep hole,I guess you were mad of something are you?"He asked.

"No just thinking of something and I got a bit sad and mad at the same time"

"Oh ok so what are you doing here?"

"Just to check on my flowers"

"Oh ok bye then see you later in the house"

"Ok"I said going inside the garden.

James's POV

I entered the house and Ashe was there just playing with a soccer ball.

"Isn't that dangerous"

"Oh yeah a ball is super duper dangerous,oh my gosh so dangerous"Ashe said teasingly while throwing me the soccer ball.

I smiled and sat down while spinning the soccer ball.

"I'm bored"Ashe said while playing with her powers.

She grabbed the soccer ball and went outside with me following her.

"Ok ready set go"She said while kicking the ball to me.

I stopped the ball and kicked the ball back.

Ashe smiled and grabbed the ball away from me.

"Hey no fair"I said while chasing her.

She is way better at sports and cooking than anything else.

I grabbed her and put her on my shoulders making her laugh and giggle.

"Why?"

I looked at her and sighed.

"You still aren't with our mom being evil are your?"

"Of course not"She said while squishing my cheeks.

She giggled while tightening my cheeks and expanding them.

"Where's Shanna?"She said while hopping off my back.

"Uh I think somewhere"

"That was very helpful"

"I know hu"

"What do we do know?"I said.

"I have no idea,unless you want to go help the the woman of the pack and take care of the pups"Ashe said excited.

"Fine"I said while following her to a nearby lake where some of the woman from the pack where.

"I thought you were afraid of the water"

"I am but that's why I go over there and bring the clothes or something that doesn't have to do with the deep deep thick watery lake"Ashe said while backing away a bit and looking petrified.

Okay guess her fear is still there.

I grabbed her lightly since she was about to trip.

"Hey Hey it's ok it's just water"

"That traps you into a bubble not letting go until you are unconscious"

"Uhm okay it's not that remember how you use to love to swim"

"No No I can't"

I looked at her and she looked as if trying to remember.

I'm guessing that he erased any memories of her actually being in water.

"It's ok if you never get over it"I said while kissing her forehead.

She smiled and hugged me while we walked seeing what to do with out anything involving water.

"How you take showers then?"

"I don't"she replied while rolling her eyes.

My eyes widen making her laugh.

"Just kidding it's just different,not deep and I can see my feet"

"Well it depends what lake you're in"

"James I don't want to go inside of a lake"She said while breaking free and going to a nearby pot that needed more wood.

She made bows and dumped them making the fire grow.

"You don't have to I was just saying"I said while stirring the pot.

"Ok then,thank you so far you might be the only one that understands"

I rubbed her hair making her pout but smile.

Some of the pups started coming and sitting down making me a bit shock since that is not how we where,well a bit mostly Ashe and Shanna.

I was the one that would fool in front of Mom and Dad while Shanna,Isabelle and Cassy would act formal.

Ashe would sometimes but would sometimes start the childish acts.

The pups started helping wherever Ashe told them to get something and I just stood there watching her stir the pot.

"What is that"

"Laundry why?"

"Uh why are you putting laundry in a pot"

"Uh because... just kidding it's for the deer the hunters are bringing"Ashe said while pointing to a group of men who were coming.

"I'm still bored"I mumbled making her throw ice at me and run away.

I glared at her and ran after her while she laughed and dodged trees that popped up in her way.

We stopped panting with almost no breath.

"I missed you so much"I said while hugging her.

She hugged back tightly not letting go.

"Me too"

"Do you think we'll ever change Ashy whiny"

"Hey!! and no and I'm not whiny"

"Yeah you are"

"This is whiny and I'm not whiny why can't you believe me?"Ashe said dramatically and whiny.

"Great"I mumbled .

"I want to be home,I'm bored James"Ashe continue whining making me sigh in regret.

"Stop whining"I whined making Ashe burst into fits of laughter.

"Damn you"I muttered making her laugh harder.

I sniffed around making Ashe stop laughing and sniff the air too.

"Dammit"Ashe muttered making me laugh.

"You're terrible at leaving no scent behind"

"No not that"

"Then what?"

"The pups came,their hiding right there"Ashe said while pointing at a bush.

"And there"She added seriously with no emotion.

I looked around and saw Ashe laughing, rolling in the snow with laughter making me jump.

"You're going to pay Ashe but first I need a nice relaxing nap"I said while pointing my index finger threateningly.

She smiled and I sighed knowing that she isn't going to stop unless she gets bored.

I left with my wolfspeed leaving her behind just incase she decides to do something.

Ashe/Icy's POV

I smirked,fooling around with people is so fun.

There is this small scent that is here and it doesn't help that I'm barely gaining the ability to smell scents.

Lucky James and Isabelle,they get this ability when they're 13 or 14 since they're hybrids.

I barely turned 16 so this is sort of new.

Supposedly that's how we mate,through our smell but I don't think that will ever work.

"Come on Come on"I said while making my bow and arrows,walking cautiously towards a bush to hide myself.

A small rabbit appeared making me groan there,wait it wasn't the rabbit I was smelling.

My breath came out as a small snow cloud making me smile and jump up to a tree.

"I know you're there Ashe"

A small gust came making me grit my teeth.

"Oh good because I don't feel like playing games"I muttered while hanging from a branch with my legs.

"Who said we were playing any games"

I tackle the vampire to the ground although he has more strength well technically I do.

He swiftly swinged me to a tree trunk but I grabbed him by the collar nearly choking him.

I quickly got up and made my sword and swinged it but he easily dodged.

"Stupid vampire"I mumbled while kicking him.

He was about to fall but soon got up and I took advantage and made a dagger but before I could even stab him,he punched me.

A small ounce of pain was what I felt when I hit a tree trunk.

"You're the worst beta ever"He hissed and I stabbed him quickly freezing him.

"That should teach you"I muttered under my breath.

I ran with wolf speed towards the front of the door and stood there looking around.

I went to one of the men that also does patrol making him smile at me.

"Glad to see you Miss Ashe"

"Uh you can call me Ashe"

He nodded although he is family some still address Isabelle,Shanna and me as Miss or Luna well that's for Isabelle for me they call me beta.

"Any signs of trespassers lately"

"No except the vampire that came saying you knew him"

I nodded and left trying to pick any different scents.

The door flew open revealing a serious Isabelle.

"Look who just arrived"

I rolled my eyes ignoring Isabelle's comment and going inside looking at Shanna who looked focused.

"Ah Ah A-"

"Are you going to say something"Isabelle said and I shook my head reaching for the door again.

"I..I'm going to be outside"I said while closing the door behind me once again.

I'm scared of focused and serious,people although I'm one of the most focused person you can ever find.

"Oohlala"I said while jumping to a tree and quickly climbing it to,to find the most unbelievable sight ever.

Wonder why Shanna is so focused,I mean the scents just come she doesn't need to distinguish which one is bad.

My phone ringed and I saw the news about something that is happening once we entered the school.

I rolled my eyes without checking what it was.

Hmm let's check if my back is okay.

I jumped off the branch and reach to touch my knees and I was okay.

My face almost touching the ground I was being held with my feet before I hit my face making me smile.

"I have improved"I said while grabbing the branch with my hands and climbing the tree as fast as I can.

When I stopped my bedroom window was open and I jumped in the sides and entered my bedroom.

"You seriously couldn't do it through the door"Shanna said while crossing her arms.

"Nah that's getting to old"

"What next breaking a hole in the roof"

I made a thinking face making her eyes widen.

"NO absolutely no"Shanna said with a serious expression.

"I was kidding"

"You're always kidding"Isabelle said while appearing near the door.

"Now that's scary"I mumbled while jumping to my bed and grabbing the handles.

"Are you going to lie down or be doing a handstand with the handles"James said while covering his eyes with his pillow.

I layed down on my bed and shot ice at James making him yelp and jerk up.

He glared at me while I laughed a bit.

"Okay just stop"I said while getting up and looking at all of them with the most serious expression I can make.

They looked at each other and then back at me.

"Tell me what's going on and then we could go back to being something that we're not"

"Ah just promise us you'll be safe and defend yourself whenever something is going to hurt you"Isabelle said with the same tone in my voice.

Small swiggly lines appeared before my eyes making me nod quickly trying to take the rainbowy lines go away.

"Fudge I'm going to take a bath"I said angrily,I coughed a bit.

It's just in your mind,just in your mind.

I repeated the same thing in my head trying to make myself feel better instead of feeling sick.

Unfortunately it didn't work,ha then I must truly believe that I'm sick.

I dressed up and tied my hair a bit so it can dry but not be down.

Once I got up I noticed that they were still there making me a bit annoyed but it's not like I can tell them to leave.

"Uhm was that really all?"I asked while creating my sword.

Their eyes looked a bit alarmed making me melt the sword.

Over-reacting,shouldn't say anything though.

"Yes now don't you dare more ask q-"

"You mean don't you dare ask more"

"That's what I said"Isabelle said and I rolled my eyes but nodded.

"Just go to sleep,we'll watch over...everything"James said and I slowly nodded.

Gaah!! Curiosity is eating me.

"Can't I stay up a while longer?"I asked and they shook their heads.

"Why not?"

Okay why am I imagining myself doing accents?

Weird me.

"Because you look pale"Shanna said.

"Maybe because I need to go outside or maybe... I AM PALE!!"I said while laying back in my bed.

"You know what your sister means"Isabelle said while sitting on my bed.

"Uhm yes my skin tone is a shade of white not to dark not to light well besides my cheeks and palms"

Isabelle glared at me but a small smile was seen in the midst of the glare.

James chuckled but kept a serious face.

Shanna looked plainly focused and unaware of what I said.

Hmm what can be going on her mind.

Sometimes I wish I had the powers of the other immortal twins,where they could read the twin sister's mind so they could know what's going on and what their troubles are.

Huh maybe I could ask other twins gain that ability,starting with Angel and Daniel.

Or does it just comes naturally?

I need to know what is bothering Shanna,how how how how?

A time bubble!

Isabelle leaves some by her room,how to get it?

Ice rope?

Nope it would hit the door if I miss.

My bow and arrow wouldn't work either,a spear either or a sword,nope that would make everything crash.

A whip should do,although there would be noise,wait James,Shanna and Isabelle are heavy sleepers.

I meant last time when James first arrived I decided to wake them up with a car horn that I found,that didn't work.

James woke up as if nothing had happened.

"Go to sleep Ashe"Shanna said and I rolled my eyes.

"Finally"I said happily when the rainbow swiggly lines left my vision.

Everyone looked confused but I ignored them.

"Come on Ashe you have to sleep"

"I don't sleep on vacations"

Isabelle sighed frustrated making me squirm a bit away from her.

"You don't feel any sleepy come on,do you want us to rub your forehead like mom did"James said while getting up and sitting next to my head.

I put my head on his lap and shook my head.

Mom,a three letter word that brings back that one unhappy memory.

"James,Isabelle?"I whispered while closing my eyes.

"Yeah we're here"James whispered while rubbing my forehead the way Mother used to do.

I drifted off to sleep before I could even ask my question,leaving my question on the tip of my tongue.

Isabelle's POV

I swallowed quietly watching as Ashe slept without caring much for the world or anything that happened around her.

James tried moving without trying to wake her but she moved and groaned a bit making him chuckle softly and stay in the same position.

"Why didn't you want to tell her?"I ask Shanna who looked at her.

"I-I don't know but one of the reasons is mostly because...you know how she is when something is going to happen she stays more quiet and it's quite disturbing not having her act normally"

I nodded and glanced at Ashe who had tears streaming down her face.

"Ashe are you awake?"I asked but she didn't answer just turned a bit violently.

James was about to shake her but I slapped his arm.

"What?"He whispered and I grabbed Ashe's head not waking her.

"Get up would you"I answer in a hushed whispered.

He got up carefully and I layed Ashe's head back on her pillow.

I rubbed her softly and she smiled between her tears.

"Shsh"I said while taking my thumb away and trying not to wake her.

Once I knew that she wouldn't wake up I raced down stairs with my immortal speed.

"Okay back to the subject,did the red light tell you when it was happening"I asked making her look at me with a seriously look.

I raised my hands up and noticed James trying to ask a question but then keeping quiet.

"Ask the question already"I said a bit irritated.

"Why was Ashe crying?"

"She has a nightmare that sort of comes every once in awhile,when someone tries to tell her to go inside of a lake"

"Oh,I thought she just was too scare"

"She is but somehow hardly remembers the only thing she does remember was when she was drowning"

He nodded slowly and I looked at Shanna who looked a bit shaky.

"Don't worry Ashe would be fine"I said and she looked up and hugged me.

"What's going to happen to Ashe?"Mother asked while appearing.

Dammit,forgot she was even here.

I looked at Shanna who let go and we bowed to her,for respect.

When my eyes met hers I felt a bit of hatred and angriness but tried not to show it.

Shanna was about to respond but I cut her off.

"Nothing that should matter Mother"I said making Shanna nod slowly.

"She's my daughter"

"She doesn't seem to trust you though"James mumbled and Mother looked very angry.

"James sweety please talk to her any of you please"

"I'm sorry Mother but she is too stubborn,I've tried"Shanna said.

"Then I'll go to talk to her"

"No"I said firmly,Ashe isn't the only one that doesn't trust her.

Mother looked mad more than mad but either way she started making her way to Ashe's room.

We all tried stopping her since Ashe was sleeping and we don't want to wake her.

Mother and I both rolled onto the floor making a loud thud.

"Let go Let go"Mother said and Shanna looked frozen so did James.

I looked up and saw a sleepy Ashe.

"What's going on?"Ashe whispered.

"Aww your so cute"I said while getting up and pinching her cheek.

She swat my hands away but giggled a bit.

James and Shanna smiled while pushing us inside and looking the door behind us leaving Mother outside.

We all laughed and hugged each other.

"All that's missing is Cassy"I mumbled and we hugged each other tighter.

Yeah we're older now but we all still have a childish side.

We all slowly drifted to sleep.

I know that we're all safe together although we all have our ups and downs,but that is what makes our family stronger.
