Ashe/Icy's POV

One more step and there.

I let go of the two arrows hitting two hunter's legs.

My armor is a bit revealing but I want to survive right now, so l let the armor be.

James looked at the bush and I ducked a bit lower.

One of the hunters yelled making all of them look at him and try to attend him.

I quickly went behind the tree and peeked, seeing that they were too busy with the hunter.

This is my chance, I started running while slowly changing my armor to my hoodie and normal clothes.

I heard footsteps making me look around and hide behind a tree.

"I know you're here, I won't harm you" James said.

Yeah right, they all say that.

I want to run to him and hug him but what if Isabelle's right.

What if they didn't survive...but what if they did.

Ashe focus.

Oh the trees, I quickly climbed the tree and saw James looking around.

Why is he by himself?

So then I saw Shanna about to run for the other direction like acting to be bait.

I peeked a little and saw James and the rest of the hunters going after her, then I saw that she threw fire at them but not to hurt them but to put a wall.

We were safe thanks Shanna for that.

I just heard James and the hunters say damn those kids especially that fire girl.

James just grinned angrily and they left at least we thought they did.

Shanna/Flamey's POV

I saw Ashe getting in trouble,

Damn James was good to convinced Ashe after all he always loved his two little sisters Ashe and me.

But this time he wanted to get any of us, to kill us or at least to do something bad to us.

So I decided to act like bait.

I had no choice I could not stand that my sister was going to get capture.

Well not on my watch!

Not like the last time we were running away and she somehow got captured and was drowning.

I just could not stand that I was going to lose another family member first my mom and dad then my supposedly dead brother James and also my supposedly dead sister Cassy.

Then I started running, blocking Isabelle, Daniel and Angel's shocked yells, enough for James and the hunters to see me running.

I was able to see James pale face like saying what are you doing?, I did not care if it meant I was going to save my sister life.

I was risking it no matter what the cost.

All of the hunters going after me and James was in front of them like ready to attack me but like always, I was faster than him.

To attack I threw fire at them but instead of hurting them I made a long big firewall protecting Ashe, Isabelle, Daniel, Angel, and me.

I felt good, after all it was a long time ago that I used my powers, it felt good throwing them once again to defend the rest of my family.

I heard one hunter say "Damn that girl with the fire powers".

"She's good" said James.

"Better than before what happen to her" He whispered but like me I got that habit of thinking that I am whispering but really I'm saying it out loud.

I felt weird when I heard him say that.

Like if he really was my brother James, I turned around and saw that my sisters and friends were pale like telling me he's our/your brother but that's impossible he's dead.

I felt so nervous I felt myself so weak that's when I hear some of the hunters tell James.

"Hey you know that girl? Is she a one of your lost family members?"

"No!" I hear him shout out." No she's not she just made me remember me of one of my little sister's she was just like her only that her fire powers her not so aggressive to kill or hurt that's all ok"

"Then if you say so" One of the hunters said.

"Let's go back this fire girl won't put this fire wall away until we go let's just get out of here" I heard James say that.

I could not believe that my own brother rejected me. I guess he was right I feel my powers more aggressive than before.

I wondered why I heard no more footsteps so I took a peek out of my fire wall and saw nothing or heard nothing.

So then I whistled to my sister and friends to signal that their were gone I saw Ashe and Isabelle freaking out I guess from what they heard James say.

"We need to move out before they come again"

But that's when from far I heard something and some footsteps but only one I and Icy were able to hear the smallest thing thanks to my mom because she taught us to hear the smallest thing after all she was a Nine-tail fox.

I loved my mom.

"Run for it!" I told Ashe, Isabelle, Daniel and Angel I was going to stay behind to make the fire-wall stronger than before.

I saw my sisters and my friends running for it until I was no longer able to see them just hear them.

I hided on top of a tree to see who it has and saw that it was James only him.

That was a good sign then I felt a lot of wind coming out of nowhere and James put his hands in the middle of his chest and boom my fire-wall was gone.

He was able to cut through it with his winds powers!

Damn!!Why why?!?!

I try to climb slowly and quietly from the tree and I was able to do that, at least but the hard part was making a run for it but I did that anyways.

I heard footsteps behind me and also I started to hear more footsteps.

I turned around quickly to see and saw that it was James and and in front of him was a black wolf and on top of that wolf a crow and that's when it hit to me.

I remember that tattoo that we had on his arm like me and my sisters of our spirit animals, I was shocked I couldn't understand how that happen.

I just felt shocked about that and why would he try to capture me after rejecting me for my powers.

I don't understand him.

I did care at that time and I just ran and ran as fast as i could but suddenly I couldn't see him anymore not even his wolf so I just decide to climb a tree;

I did but that's when I saw his crow flying around, I figured that he was looking for me that's when suddenly I heard someone climbing the same tree I was in.

I looked down and saw James and below him his wolf, I could not believe that he used his crow like bait for me.

I tried to climb down the other way but his wolf did not let me.

"Wait i just want to talk to you I won't hurt you I promise" He said almost begging.

"I don't believe you" I shouted while tears filled my eyes.

"Please just give me a chance"

"Why would I after trying to hurt my sister Ashe and rejecting me"

"I didn't mean to hurt Ashe and I rejected you because I did not have a choice against the other hunters and also because your powers are just to aggressive I did not recognize you"

"Well too bad" I shout out to him.

I started to make a run for it even though his wolf was going after me.

I came upon a river, I just jumped into it and got out near land I turned around and did not see James only his wolf when suddenly I felt hands grabbing my feet.

I tried to throw fire at him but my powers here somehow gone and could not do anything.

"Please" He said while I tried shaking his hand.

"I promise I didn't want to hurt any of you, I just wanted to get information about one of you after all you are my smallest sister, like Ashe I would never hurt you I just want to know if I finally found my family, that's all I wanted to know"

"No" I said I was able to shake him off and he was able to get to land.

"You just lost one" I added trying to hide the fact that my voice cracked, I started running again and hearing.

I heard him tell his crow to chase me.

While he gets his wolf to cross over I ran and ran.

It felt endless but I suddenly stop to catch my breath.

I was so tired I could not move and I started feeling dizzy, so much that my vision started to get a bit blurry.

When suddenly I just felt cold water all over my body and saw myself inside a frozen lake and before I passed out and only thing I saw was my brother James face screaming to me and from their I fainted.
