Isabelle's POV

I got up and saw that Ashe was already awake.

Some days she just won't get enough sleep which is what she gets for being a light sleeper.

Ashe was quiet, and looking at her hand.

What in the world?

"What did you do now" I said while getting up and quietly walking to her.

"Nothing" Ashe whispered while looking at the distance.

I sat down next to her but she just bit the inside of her lip and stayed quiet.

"Something is bothering?" I asked.

She glanced at me from the corner of her eye and looked down at her barefoot.

"Did you even sleep?" I said looking at her dry hair.

"It was difficult but that is the least of my concerns" She said while putting her nail between her teeth and keeping it there.

"Well what are your big concerns then" I said while looking at the distance too.

"Not saying what I have to say or what I want to say" She whispered while letting her hand fall to her propped up knee.

"And what is that you have to say" I said in a teasing manner making her lightly smile at me.

"Thank you. For everything, teaching me how to play a few basics in the guitar, learning to deal with all this crazy... and making me stronger physically and emotionally although we sometimes don't get along" She said while turning slightly red.

That hit me, very hard.

"I... Ashe... I..."I drifted off not being able to even begin.

She smiled lightly before getting up and walking away.

I sat there trying to figure out why I didn't say anything.

"That would've knocked the air out of me" James said softly making me look at him.

My eyes still wide, I nodded slowly and he slowly got up towards me.

When he did reach me, he hugged me and I let him.

I didn't push him away like I would usually do to someone.

It felt nice, can't remember why I would never accept anybody's hugs.

"You should get ready" I mumbled tiredly making James chuckle but slowly let go.

"If you're tired then I think it is safe to sleep one more m-"

"Lazy, and I can't think it's safe" I said making him smile and nod.

"Do you want me to go get Ashe?" He asked while dusting himself removing some dried grass from his pants.

"No you're making her choose you for favorite" I said while smiling and getting up.

"But we all know who the favorite is" Shanna mumbled groggily.

"Yeah me" Cassy said while untangling a piece of her hair.

"Uh hu sure" Shanna said while yawning a bit.

"Either way I'll go fine Ashe" I said and started to sniff the air.

I got a trace of her scent and followed it.

Her scent came to a stop making me look around and see her crouched down near the lake.

"You ok?" I asked and she looked at me with wide eyes and everything around her was wet.

"Yeah" She said with a shaky breath.

Scared of water.

I gently grabbed her and pulled her upward while she sighed and bit her lip.

"Come on let's go get ready" I said making her nod.

We super speed to the fire camp and see the others ready.

I looked back at Ashe but see that she already has her warrior outfit on.

I snap my fingers and my outfit is on.

"Let's go before they attack us" I said and started walking to the burn part of the forest.

I look back at my family and see them prepared.

We stopped in the almost barrier which was trees that bloomed and ones that were withered and dry.

"We were expecting you" The Evil Queen said making me grit my teeth.

Ashe and the rest formed a line to my left and to my right making the Evil Queen's minions line up with them.

"Then you must know what we're here for" I stated.

The Evil Queen moved aside and the Evil King was now in view.

He smirked and it started raining.

They're controlling the weather, they can flood this and Ashe will be frozen in place.

Great they're disabling one of us.

I glance at Ashe but she looked perfectly fine.

James saw my eyes and then at the rain and let a small breath go out.

The wind was strong but soft at the same time which moved the rain a bit.

I reached for my pocket but one of the minions growled at me making Ashe growl back.

This is not going to end well.
