>THIRD PERSON< 

            Unfortunately after that day at Raging and a night filled with laughter the three friends haven't got to spend much time together at all since Serenade had work all day the next day and Tessa kept pulling her away to help with the song that they had to preform but when she did have a second someone would always pull the two boys away to do something or they would get called away before they could get out much more then a hello. 

 It wasn't long before a whole week had passed and Serenade Touma and Yuuto barely even had a second together it was driving the boys crazy as for Serenade the silence that she had once craved and enjoyed now seems so deafening and lonely she was wanting the loudness and Excitement that Yuuto was and the teasing remarks that Youma made that made her feel so warm and happy inside. She didn't know why the silence made her feel so empty now she didn't know that she had let the two childish and clingy boys get to warm and cozy in her heart, She had thought that she was careful to keep her distance and yet no matter her efforts to keep them away they sneaked in the hole in the walls around her heart she couldn't even deny it anymore the pain and loneliness she felt from this week spoke way louder then the thoughts of denial in her head. 

As she laid in her bed she takes in a deep slow breath to calm the thoughts in her head. "why did they have to get through my defenses I didn't even realize I was so attached to them in a matter of two weeks...those boys are such idiots!" She groans grabbing a pillow and screaming into it as she kicks her legs in frustration. 

Suddenly there was a weight on top of her stomach and a meow coming from the weight, She takes the pillow off her face and makes eye contact with Sammy who had a knowing grin on his face. "What is that look for?" She asks as she rolls her eyes and Sammy lets out a long meow. "Why do I feel like you're being smug and a annoying? I just want to wack ya" She mumbles making Sammy jump off of her and hiss loudly. "relax I said it makes me want to not that I was going to so don't have a furball" She waves his look of annoyance off and gets up stretching. 

Sammy meows in annoyance and paws at her to get her attention. "What is it Sammy? I really must be getting ready for work so I don't have much time to play"  she mumbles as she goes to her closet to change out of her pjs so she could go to work since it was a Saturday again. The cat groans in annoyance and covers his eyes with his paws meowing as if he was complaining as she changed. 

"You can stop complaining now I've had enough I'm dressed and about to go crazy if you meow again" She said sounding annoyed by his constant meowing and noise. Sammy took this as a challenge and lets out another long meow, Serenade growls and jumps on the bed to grab him but he jumps onto the night stand at the last second as Serenade's head hits the corner of the night stand. "Ouch! You're gonna get it now!" She exclaims getting up and trying to grab him but like before he jumps out of the way and onto the bed. "HEY! Get back here!"  She runs to grab him. 

And so started the game of cat and mouse that went on for well over ten minutes of Serenade running around the room trying to grab the cat and said cat always jumping out of the way at the last possible moment. It wasn't until he got on the end of bed that she dives again, she manages to grab him but she over shots her landing and follows of the bed hitting the corner of her forehead on the wooden chest at the end of her bed. "o Ouch" She whimpers letting go of Sammy moving her hand up and gently touching where it hurt causing her to groan out in pain, when she pulled her hand away she saw blood covering the tips of her fingers.  

Before she could even get up to get something to stop the bleeding there was a knock at her door making her look up resting her head over her cut. She got up and grabs a paper towel quickly putting it over her cut to keep the blood from spreading every where before she walks to to the door and opening it. "Who is i~" She got interrupted by someone grabbing her face, she follows the hand up the arm and to the face to see Yuuto standing in front of her with a worried panicked expression.

"What happened?! What do we do?! Do we elevate the head?! NO no we put the head in a cast! No no! We have to take her to the hospital! She could die!!!!" Yuuto exclaims clearly panicking about seeing the girl with blood trickling down her face and a now blood soaked paper towel. 

"Yuuto-san Yuuto-san please calm down I'm fine it is just a little cut it isn't a big deal no need for any of that" Serenade said trying to sound calm as she tries to step away but Yuuto pulls her back so she stayed close to him. 

"No! It could get infected which means you would have to get your head amputated and you couldn't sing because you would have no voice! a and then you would get kicked out of the academy and you would be left on the streets and you would have to quit your job which means no money, no money means no food and no food means no bones and no bones mean you die! And you can't die!!!" Yuuto went on a rant the whole time he had a hold of her shoulders shaking her back and forth leaving her no chance to stop him.

"Okay okay stop shaking her before you make her faint" Touma interjects for the first time as he grabs and pulls Serenade way from Yuuto, the poor girl was seeing stars causing her to fall back against Touma's chest the whole room spinning around her. "You're making things worse not helping just go get a wet rag so we can clean the cut" Touma said calmly as he picks Serenade up and carries her back to her bed sitting her down on the edge. 

"O Okay! I can do that!!!!" Yuuto exclaims running into the room finding a rag and running out of the room to get water. 

"Sorry about him usually he is way better at dealing with his panic but for some reason when he saw you hurt he forgot all the ways to do that" Touma exclaims with a small chuckle taking the paper towel and gently dabbing the cut to clean it up.

"I'm telling you it isn't a big deal I have had way worse you guys don't need to worry at all i mean it looks allot worse then it is it just hit a vein that's why it bleed so much" Serenade mumbles as she winces at him touching the cut.

"You can't ask us not to worry. You are our friend of course we worry" Touma gently flicks her forehead away from the cut. "worrying is what friends do dummy" He smiles, Serenade freeze at his words trying to process what he just said. "Let us take care of you Serenade" 

"I got it!" Yuuto exclaims as he runs back into the room pushing Touma out of the way and bending down starting to clean away the dried blood being surprisingly gentle compared to how much of a ruckus he was making seconds earlier. "It will be okay Sere-chan we got you" Yuuto smiles and leans over her softly kissing the top of her head causing Serenade's face to be engulfed in a red tint completely embarrassed.

"I I told you I I'm fine y you don't have to make it such a b big deal" She mumbles shyly as she moves back on the bed to get away from them. 

"And I told you to let us take care of you" Touma said warning as he sits on the bed next to her. "You can't get rid of us" He smiles sweetly. 

"Yeah! You are stuck with us!!" Yuuto exclaims sitting on the other side of her making it where she was trapped between the two boys. Sammy jumps up on the bed and onto her lap and curls up. "Sammy not now we are having a moment!" Yuuto whines trying to push Sammy off  of Serenade's lap but he hisses and nips at him warningly.

"That is a no" Serenade said with a giggle as he pets Sammy's head. 

"oh you're no fun Sammy" Yuuto said with a pout not liking Sammy having Serenade's attention all to himself something was off with that cat it felt like he was competing with another male and he didn't like it.

"So anyway why did you two come to my room?? I was just about to go to work so these better be important" Serenade said directing the attention back to the boys as she tilts her head questioningly. 

"Oh yeah! We completely forgot! My mind went blank went I saw you bleeding" Yuuto said with a blush as he rubs the back of his neck. 

"You have to come with us. We need to show you something and it's really important" Touma said leaving no room for arguing as he got up holding out his hand. 

"I can't go with you I told you I have to go to work!" Serenade rolls her eyes gently pushing his hand away but when she did he grabs her hand and pulls her up making Sammy fall of her lap and onto the ground with a hiss.

"Oh come on you will pass it on the way out anyway just trust us and come on" Touma said with a charming smile that made her heart melt.

"O Okay fine since it is on my way out but past the school gates we go our own ways okay?" Serenade pulls her hand back and crosses her arms over her chest.

"Okay okay sure whatever you say! Just come on!" Yuuto exclaims in excitement grabbing her hand and running out of the room.

"H Hey Yuuto-san calm down!! We don't have to run!!!" Serenade exclaims trying to pull her hand away from him but she couldn't since he had a firm grip on her hand. "What about Touma-san?!?" 

"Oh im right here" Touma said running right beside her making her nearly jump in fright since she didn't see him before. "You can't get rid of me so easily remember that" Touma said with a laugh. 

"So why couldn't you just tell me instead of show me?! and why do we have to run???!!!" Serenade whines loudly. 

"Okay we are here!" yuuto exclaims as he stops running causing Serenade to nearly fall to the ground from exhaustion. "....did I over do it? I shouldn't of run huh? I was just excited" yuuto said as he watches Serenade catch her breath.

"yeah you might of over did it a little but it got us here faster so it is worth it in the long run" Touma said as he shrugs.

"I I said no but you don't listen!" She whines, when she finally caught her breath she stands up right again and looks around and sees they were in the main entrance of the school building. "What are we doing here??" 

"Don't be so skeptical! just come on!" Yuuto pulls her to the bulletin board in the main entrance that was used to show the scores on tests but right now it was covered in posters of all sorts from jobs to events. 

"Yeah? We see this every morning what's so important about it?" She questions confused to why they were showing her something that she has seen many times before hand. 

"look! Look!" Yuuto points to the board  as if it was suppose to mean something. 

"Oh yes the all important noodle shop, I've heard it had pretty good yakitori but I've never tried it" Serenade said with a shrug making Touma burst out laughing and Yuuto stomp his foot pouting. 

"N No not that" Touma said wiping away his tears of laughter. "He means this" He points to a Halloween themed poster that had a a lyric sheet on it and s pen with a sign up sheet under it. "Okay....a halloween poster?? what about it?? Why is it so important??" She sounded confused. 

"You are so dense! We want you to sign up for it!!" Yuuto exclaims happily. 

"It's a song writing contest. You enter the song that is either made for two or more people and the winner for the contest gets their song used by  members of Quartet night and maybe some other idols depending on how the song is. If you enter it we both know you would win" Touma explains with a smile. 

"Sign up for it?? Why would I do that?? If it's not a assignment why would I enter myself in a probably rigged contest? I just see no point if my piece doesn't win then it would be out there for someone else to use and that is something I don't want I want credit for all my work so I can be recognized for my work, so it's a hard pass for me" She said with a mere shrug. "I gotta go see you two later and later doesn't mean come to my job if I see you anywhere close to it then I will get revenge so watch it" She said in a warning voice.

"Hey! We just want to support our friend at her job! What's so bad about that!? You don't have to be so mean about it!" Yuuto whines with a pout looking down at her with the saddest eyes. 

"NO! that isn't how this is gonna go. I don't want you near that job it's embarrassing so stay away" She said coldly as she crosses her arms. 

The two boys look between each other before looking back at her and smiling kindly. "Okay we wouldn't bother you at work today we promise to stay away scouts honor" Touma said looking into her eyes. 

".....Okay? That's good now I have to go. See you later"  Serenade said before waving and walking away with a unease feeling but she pushed it away saying it probably isn't a big deal. 

Touma and Yuuto stood there waving as they watch the girl's retreating form get smaller and smaller slowly going out of sight. "......So first one there gets to pick the song?" Yuuto questions looking away from the gates and back to his friend. 

"You know it" Touma gently pushes Yuuto before bolting back the way they came.

"Hey!!! Cheater!!" Yuuto exclaims quickly getting up and running after her to catch up so he had a chance to win. 

It didn't take the teenagers long for them to get to their destination, Serenade's bedroom. They stop right in front of her door to catch their breathes for a second. "Ha! I win I get to pick!" Touma thrusts his fist in the air in a small victory celebration. 

"That isn't fair! You cheated! If you didn't cheat I would of won for sure!" Yuuto exclaims as he pushes Touma down with a glare. 

"Hey you act so different when she isn't around! Besides  If you won you wouldn't of picked a good halloween song creepy is key and more often then not you are not anything halloween" Touma gets up and dusts himself off before twists the door knob and opening the door to her room the first thing he noticed was the cat that was sitting on top of the desk that was starring into them. "Oh hi Sammy, don't mind us" Touma walks into the girl's room. 

"So we have to keep this a secret right?" Yuuto asks as he walks in and starts to look around the room curious to what's inside since he didn't get to look while Serenade was around.

"Well that is a big duh! If she found out what we are doing she would kill us, if she doesn't win she will never find out if she wins she will be less likely to kill us" touma said matter of factly as he rumages through the pile of sheet music. 

"Okay I guess you are right...we don't need to worry besides she wouldn't kill her best friends now would she??" Yuuto laughs as he looks around the room. 

"Yeah i know I a~" He turns around when he heard Sammy hissing and freezes mid sentence. "NO DON"T LOOK IN THERE YUUTO YOU PERV!!"

How did a filler chapter get over two thousand words???  I got lost in the story and just typed away my time....Someone should really take my computer away this was so dumb! T^T  Anyway this is the beginning of the Halloween chapters that are to follow.
