It took thirty minutes to convince the two to do the song together neither of them wanted to budge but soon they caved not wanting to argue about it any further since they seemed to come to a agreement. They spent the rest of the time practicing their songs and fighting about how it should turn out. By the time the sun started to set everyone was exhausted from practicing and singing all day. 

"Okay that is it for the time. you two should go change into a costume since you are the guests of honor" reiji said with a smile before chugs his water bottle. 

"Yeah that's a no I'm not wearing a costume I see no point" Serenade said coolly as she gets up from off the floor and stretches.

"Oh come on costumes are a must on Halloween! It isn't halloween without some costumes" Reiji said with a smile going over to ruffle her hair but she steps back.

"No it's not halloween was celebrated before costumes were a tradition" Serenade said before grabbing her bag. "See you later at the concert" She waves before she walks out of the room with her bag slug over her shoulder completely exhausted. 

"Wait Serenade!" Akihiko exclaims as he runs after her before matching pace with her. "Serenade-sama they are idols you can't just say no to them" he said with a small pout. "You have to wear a costume that was the only think they ask" 

"I don't see a point besides I don't have a costume that anyone would like so there is no reason for me to waste money and go out in the little time I have to get one when I could rest in that time" Serenade said as she steps side ways to keep distance between them while they walked. 

"Serenade-sama you have a amazing song but you can't be so stubborn if you want people to sing your songs" Akihiko said matter of factly. "Besides take notes on the most popular composer right now, Nanomi Haruka from what I heard she is nice and sweet that is what makes people want to sing her songs. Maybe if you were nicer like her more people would want to sing your songs" His words made her freeze her face down to hide her expression. 

"Don't tell me who I should be like, you don't know me or her so stop acting like you do. You don't know anything so just keep your mouth shut" She said softly but her voice had a edge to it. 

"Geez I was just trying to help I didn't mean to strike a nerve" He said with his hands up but his voice held no remorse for what he did.

"maybe you should take your advice and sh~" She was cut off. 

"SERE-CHAN!!!" Yuuto exclaims waving both his hands to get her attention from where he was standing at the end of the hallway with Touma. 

They run up to her and Yuuto smiles sweetly at Akihiko to stop a glare he wanted to give the boy who was just having a seemingly heated conversation with his friend.

"Hey Sere are you done with practice with the idols? How did it go??" Touma asked calmly as he got between Serenade and Akihiko. 

"Oh yeah we are done till the songs are released" Serenade said slowly her anger was switched to Touma and Yuuto. "Speaking of which...care to explain how you got my song?? I don't leave them around carelessly for anyone to find" She said coldly as she cross her arms making the two culprits freeze and the other boy's mind go blank seeing how scary she was. 

"O Oh um...funny story actually" Yuuto said with a awkward chuckle "Oh um Touma tells it way better then I do! So he will tell you!" Yuuto exclaims as he hides behind Touma and pushes him closer to the girl. 

"Yeah um...We saw a song you left behind in the music room so we looked at it and um....read it! W We thought that it would be a waste if we didn't enter it so uh...w we did??" He asks more then tells as he rubs his neck "I I guess it isn't that funny of a story." 

Her face got red with anger but soon it calmed down as she takes a deep slow breath closing her eyes. "No what it's over now, no point in being angry now" she opens her eyes and stares at the two with a death glare "But if you do it again I will not hesitate to hurt both of you" 

"O okay! I can l live with that!!!" Yuuto exclaims as he hugs her you could practically see his tail wagging happy that she wasn't agree with him. Instead of pushing him away she sighs and hugs his head gently making him blush but his smile grow bigger.

"It will never happen again we can promise that it was a one time thing" Touma said as he smiles and hugs her happy that she was accepting his hugs this time. 

Akihiko who was watching this whole thing unravel like a anti climactic soap opera slowly stepped back. "I'm just gonna go.." He said awkwardly as he slowly steps away from them turn around and start to walk away trying to keep calm when he felt the two death glares baring into his back sending shivers down his spin. 

"why were you alone with that guy?? Was he bullying you? Was he being nice??" Yuuto asks carefully as he pulls away to look her in the eyes. 

"I guess somewhere in between. He was just trying to get me to wear a costume to the bash tonight since the idols asked me to but I kept saying no" Serenade said as she steps away from the both of them. 

"W Wait you aren't wearing a costume?! Come on you have to wear a costume! It's Halloween! You don't want to miss out do you?!" Yuuto exclaims with a pout as he grabs one of her hands. 

"It really isn't a big deal it is just a one night event it isn't a sin if I don't do it" Serenade said trying to get slightly annoyed by everyone telling her what to do.

"Oh come on! Please! Please! Please! Pleaaaasssseee!!" Yuuto whines and begs not wanting to give up. 

Pretty soon Yuuto got Touma into begging Serenade as well so she was hearing please in both ears making it harder for her to ignore it. 

"O Okay! Okay! I'll do a costume just stop it!! I can't hear another please!" Serenade said breaking after five minutes of them saying please no stop. The two look at each other and smile brightly happy they won. 

"Great! Now let's go! We all need to start getting ready! We will drop you at your dorm before we go to ours to get ready! Then we will pick you up at seven thirty so we can all go together!" Yuuto exclaims leaving no time to debate as he grabs both Touma and Serenade's hand leading them down the hall.

After they dropped her off at her room to change they gave her strict orders to get ready and wait for them since they would be back as soon as they were both ready and she wasn't allowed to leave without. She walks into her room giving Sammy a quick greeting and goes to her closet looking into it to try and figure out what to wear and what could pass as a costume. "Why did I have to look into their eyes and hear their pleads? If it weren't for them then I wouldn't be stuck in this situation in the first place!" She groans cursing the two boys who had to much charm to them. "I swear they are witches or something, I'm under their spell that is the only logical reason for me to be doing this!" 

It took her fifteen minutes for her to go through all her clothes over and over again trying on different outfits but she still couldn't figure one out, it wasn't until Sammy jumps off the bed and walks over to her closet pawing at the maid outfit she wore to work. "You want me to wear THAT!? No way! The only time i wear that is when I'm getting paid if there is no money in it then I ain't wearing it" she said without hesitation but he just stares at her. "What? there is probably other things to wear other then that...don't look at him like that! I don't have money to fake confidence with my cat maid outfit! so it's a no for me" She crosses her arms and looks away not budging on it. 

Minutes later a soft knock came from her door and a soft 'give me a minute' from inside the room. After a second the door opened reveal the girl in a maid outfit with pink trim and a puffy skirt that came a inch and half above her knee, she had light pink cat ears on her head with some light make up with a pink heart hair clip pinning her hair back to show her face. 

"Sorry I took so long I had to do my hair" She mumbles softly as she steps out and closes her door gently smoothing her skirt down. When she looked back up she saw a froze Touma in a red plaid shirt and ripped jeans with wolf ears on top of his head and a froze Yuuto who was in a orange yellow plaid shirt and ripped jeans with fox ears on both staring at her awestruck for a second. "...are you two okay??? You seemed shocked" She gently pokes Touma's cheek. 

"o oh!" Touma shakes his head and nudges Yuuto snapping him out of his trance "Sorry you just look really adorable in that" Touma mumbles as he rubs his neck making Serenade blush profusely.

"I It's n not like you haven't seen me i in this outfit b before! Idiot this is my work uniform it isn't anything special" She mumbles looking away to hide her blush as she plays with her hair. 

"Yeah but we've never seen it like....thiiiiisss" Yuuto exclaims as he gestures to her up and down. "Y You look AMAZING! L Like wow! I'm at a lost for words!" Yuuto exclaims as he grabs her hands looking at her in the eyes.

"Wow Yuuto speechless....that is rarer then a blue moon" Touma said with a laugh.

"y you grab my hands a allot when you are excited"She mumbles wanting to change the subject away from her.

"oh" Yuuto smiles awkwardly and let go of her hands and gently scratches his cheek. "I guess i do." 

"So how is it that we all have costumes that kinda match. I mean you two more then mean I guess I missed the memo on doing plaid but still" Serenade said with a laugh making the two boys look at each other with a small blush knowing this was another secret they had to keep from her. 

"Oh I guess it is just friend telepathy or something" Touma said with a laugh.

"Yeah we are getting to know you so well we can pick out small details" Yuuto adds with a smile.

"A Anyway let's go before we are late" She starts to walk shaking her head at their responses "I want to get this over and done with so I can go back to my room" she mumbles making Touma laugh as he and Yuuto follow after her.

"Now there is the Sere we know" touma mumbles to Yuuto making him laugh as well. 

"Oh hush I never even wanted to come if it weren't for you two i wouldn't be stuck going" She said with a eye roll. 

"Yeah it is because of us" Yuuto playfully nudges Serenade "So where is our thank you's??" He teases, Serenade playfully glares and goes to push him but he steps away before she could giving her a childish smile.

"oh no worry your thank you's will be in my eulogy right after my cause of death; annoyed to death by two unnamed boys" Her voice was dripping in sarcasm. 

"If we are the cause of your death alteast you went out having fun!" Yuuto said playing nudging her and despite her efforts she still smiled slightly from his remark.

"Much rather dye in my sleep peacefully then having 'fun' with two halves of a whole idiot" She mumbles more to herself. 

"Le gasp!" Yuuto clutches his heart dramatically leaning against Touma for 'support'. "I'm offended! Is that really how you see us Sere-chan?!" Yuuto exclaims sounding truly hurt by her words.

"N No I'm so~"

"We are two  complete idiots  not each half of one. I can't believe you would underestimate our stupidity so much" Touma adds before she could finish apologizing. 

"yeah! We are our own idiots!" Yuuto defends seeing the look of annoyance and disbelief written all over her face. 

"How can two people simultaneously both annoy and amuse me so much?! It shouldn't be possible" She mumbles more to herself as she walks ahead of them completely ignoring. "They are either really good at acting or so dumb i can't decide"

"hey words hurt you know Sere-chan!" Yuuto whines as he matches pace with her. 

"Oh whatever. we are here let's get this over with" She opens the doors showing the courtyard filled with decorations and people all in costumes varying in creativity. The courtyard had a big stage in the center of the yard with the curtains closed, the whole yard was decked out in black and orange streams and halloween decorations making it look like a halloween monster just vomited dark glitter and skeletons all over the place over all your typical halloween bash. 

The three friends walk into the crowd the two boys holding onto the girls hand so 'they wouldn't get separated'. They lead her straight to the table that was filled with snacks and fruit punch. "Wow! they went all out" yuuto exclaims in delight before starting to fill his plate with food along with Touma. 

"you two really like food don't you?" She asks with a giggle. "if you put much more on that plate it will be a replicate of the leaning tower of Pisa" She teased making Yuuto look at all the sweets piled on his plate.

"Well more I like sweets!" Yuuto said with a cheeky smile starting to eat his food.

"Well i guess i don't see a single savior food on your plate so that is true" Serenade comments. 

"I like sweets it's Touma who likes savior" Yuuto points to Touma who was piling one of all the savior food on his plate whistling as he did so. 

"You two truly are complete opposites I never realized. Appearance personality and taste...I bet your taste in girls are complete opposite as well" Serenade said amusement leaking from her her words. The two boys look at each other seemingly having a silent conversation before they both just shrug. 

"Not as different as you think" Touma comments before starting to eat. 

"Yeah we are not as different as most people think we just look different. Which is why people are drawn to us as a pair" Yuuto smiles before grabbing Serenade's hand and leading her to a empty table and sitting. 

"Oh well i guess you are right but you two still seem really different to me" Serenade shrugs and sits down Touma quickly sitting on the other side of her. 

"So! When are you suppose to perform? How did the practicing go?? Was the idols cool??!! Tell me everything!" Yuuto puts his chin on his hand that was resting on the table looking at the girl expectantly. 

"Well...it was pretty boring yet hectic since it took so much time to have them learn the song and have some choreography. It isn't gonna be all out there since there wasn't time so it is just simple story line and dance moves" Serenade shrugs not really interested in telling people since it wasn't a interesting story. 

"Really?? That wasn't what we heard from Suzuka Akihiko said while we were passing him in the dorms.He said that it was such a cool experience" yuuto said sounding confused. 

" 'Oh! it was so awesome! It was life changing! Reiji-sama was so cool and professional! It was a life changing experience! I just can't wait till I'm a idol too! I'll be just like Reiji-sama and Ai-sama!' " Touma mocks in a slightly higher pitched voice keeping his hands clasped together close to his chest. 

"H He doesn't sound like that" She stuttered out clearly trying not to laugh at his mocking act. 

"Oh yeah you're right his voice is higher" Touma replied with a smirk making her burst out laughing with Yuuto. 

"I don't sound anything like that. You make me sound like a girl" A voice said sounding rather annoyed said voice making Yuuto and Serenade jump clinging to each other for a second. Akihiko was wearing a red shirt with a red slash tied around his waist and a pirate hat on crooked on his head.

"Oh Hi Suzuka I didn't see you there" Touma said calmly with a smirk since he saw him walk up it being the reason why he was making them laugh. 

"Oh don't lie it's not very becoming of you" Akihiko said with a eye roll. "Come on Melody we need to go they are about to perform" He said with a smile grabbing her hand to lead her but she flinched and pulls her hand back as Yuuto hugs her keeping her away from him.

"......Yuuto-sama you don't need to hug me....you're kinda hugging me to tight" Serenade mumbling softly trying to get away but he had a firm grip on her. 

"Oh sorry i guess it was just instinct Sere-chan" He said in the sweetest voice with a cheeky smile as he lets her go.

"Oh no it's fine Yuuto-sama you didn't mean to so it isn't a big deal" She smiles back at him before turning to Akihiko and her smile dropping. 

"Oh what? you are lucky it was me and not Reiji-san he would of caused a scene making all the attention on you and him"Akihiki said crossing his arms. "so are you coming or are you backing out or coming with me?" He asks questioningly.

"I'm not backing out just wanted to get here after your song so i didn't have to hear the mess you call a song" She sassed back before walking past him with a huff.

"Oh sure sure whatever you say song bird" He said with a eye roll before starting to walk with her.

He stopped when he felt pairs of eyes glaring into his back. He turned around seeing the two boys the girl was with, he merely smirks at them and sends them a wink before turning back around and running to catch up with Serenade effectively making the girl take a step away from him. 

"I don't like him. I don't like him one little bit" yuuto mumbles with distaste as he eats with a frown and a glare towards the table. 

"I know i don't like him either but soon he will be away from her after the contest is done so after tonight we wouldn't see him near her again" Touma said through grit teeth as he watched the retreating forms of Serenade and Akihiki.

There is another part with the singing that i am going to do then the end of the halloween parts sorry it is so far behind but i still wanted to do it since i like doing halloween chapters they are fun!  Like always comment any ideas or suggestions to the story if you want!
