I felt something hit my cheast and i barfed up water. I saw ruby eyes and looked at my body. My legs were no longer there. Instead there was a pitch black tail with string around the end. My arm had sea weed on it and my head did to. I unranled the sea weed from my wrist. A set of bit marks were there.

I hit the merman vampire and he look at me. Sadness in his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I could not save you without bitting you. You hit the poisonous rock. Poison can be cured only by the bit on my people." His British accent was there. I put my hand on his shoulder reassuringly. He nodded his head.

"I'm Ivy. "I told him. He looked at me weirdly.

"To My people your name means plant over rock ....Sorry if they don't speak proper English we just....don't. "I almost started to laugh.

"What's your name mate?" I asked.

"My name us Nightcreature." He said. "But you can call me Night." A cute name for a cute boy.

"What do we do know? I can't be a ....what are you? Never mind but I can't be this for ever." I said as a showed him my lower half.

"What is your problem with my kind? Without me you would be dead.!" He yelled at me as he placed his back on a rock.

"Sorry mate. I think your really nice and all but I can't stay this way." I said. I'm Australian and other things but mostly Australian.

"It's fine I was just kidding ....I'm the only one anyway. "Night said.

"What are you? "I asked.

"I'm half vampire half merman." He said.

"How? "I asked.
