thi global

1.Globalization is  a  process  that involves a great deal more than simply growing connections or interdependence between states. It can be defined as: A  historical  process  involving  a  fundamental  shift  or transformation  in  the  spatial  scale  of  human  social organization  that  links  distant  communities  and  expands the reach of power relations across regions and continents.

1. 1.Distinguish the concept of globalization from that of regionalization and internationalization.

Such  a  definition  enables  us  to  distinguish  globalization  from  more  spatially  delimited  processes  such  as internationalization and regionalization.  Whereas internationalization refers to growing interdependence between  states,  the  very  idea  of  internationalization presumes that they remain discrete national units with clearly  demarcated  borders.  By  contrast,  globalization refers to a process in which the very distinction between the  domestic  and  the  external  breaks  down.  Distance and time are collapsed, so that events many thousands of miles away can come to have almost immediate local consequences  while  the  impacts  of  even  more  localized developments may be diffused rapidly around the globe.

1.2. Example

In the capital Paris on 25/9, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Prime Minister Jean - Marc Ayrault has signed a Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of France with the direction and goals about collaboration in Political- diplomat, Defense and Security, economic, trade and investment, culture, education and training, scientific research, law and justice. France and Vietnam in favor of signing a free trade agreement comprehensive, ambitious and balanced between the European Union and Vietnam to improve access to the domestic market on the basis of respect for the rules of the World Trade Organization. The two countries will strengthen cooperation, mutual assistance in the economic institutions, international financial organizations such as the World Trade Organization, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund and regional organizations.

2. 5 main purposes:

To maintain international peace & security throughout the world.

To develop friendly relations amongst nations.

To co-operate in solving international problems.

Promoting respect for human rights,to work together to help people live better lives, to eliminate poverty, disease and illiteracy in the world, to stop environmental destruction and to encourage respect for each other's rights and freedoms.

To be a centre for harmonising the actions of nations.

The United Nations provides opportunities for countries to achieve balance in the mutual dependence on the world level and solve international problems, so that the most important purpose of the UN is to maintain international peace.

3. nature war

War is a phenomenon of socio-political nature of history, the continuation of politics by violence between social groups within a country or between countries or alliances of countries. Characteristic of war is armed struggle organized, according to certain rules and often combined with other forms of struggle (political, economic, diplomatic ). War has some critical elements: First, war is an organized violent activity, waged not by individuals but by men (sometimes joined by women) in groups.•Second, war is a mutual activity; whatever takes place in it relates, or should relate, primarily to the enemy's movements with the aim of defeating him and avoid being defeated oneself. •Third, the conduct of war is conditioned on the hope for victory, or at the very least self‐preservation. Where that hope does not exist there can be no war, only suicide.

I think that The USA will still attack Sirya without UN approval. President Obama announced his intentions to launch a "limited" US military strike on Syria in Aug 31, 2013. Obama said that the Syrian regime had committed the "worst chemical weapons attack of the 21st century" in August.(with the deaths of nearly 1,500 people, including over 400 children ). "Our security and our values demand we cannot turn away from the massacre of thousands of innocent civilians with chemical weapons," Obama explained, adding: "I'm ready to act in the face of this outrage. Today I'm asking Congress to send a message to the world that we are ready to move forward as one nation." Obama also said he had made his decision to ask for a strike "based on what I am convinced is in our best national security interest," and said he was "comfortable going forward without the approval of a United Nations security council that has so far been completely paralyzed and unwilling to hold [Syrian President Bashar al] Assad accountable."
