Well! If we are all here, I will begin!

Good morning everyone! I’m glad to be here today, let me introduce my group. My name is Nguyet and my partner is Giang. We are students at the faculty of foreign languages. Ok! Today I’d like to talk about studying abroad. Nowadays, many students choose to attend schools or universities outside their home countries, especially in Vietnam where more and more students want to go to abroad to study. As a student, I think there are a lot of advantages as well as disadvantages of studying overseas.

In the first part we will give the advantages of studying abroad.

And the next section we are going to show the disadvantages of studying abroad.

We will speak for 10 minutes, if you have any question, there will be answered at the end.

Now, I will talk about the advantages. I suppose studying abroad has many advantages.

First, you will become more mature. Why do I say that? As you know that when you go abroad, there is no one to take care you. So you have to do everything by yourself such as: cooking, taking care yourself, being responsible for what you do… By this way, you will be more grown up, which will help you in the future, so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

Finally last but not least, this is the way to improve your foreign language (especially English because it’s an international language). If you go oversea for studying, you have to talk in English every day, every month, every year. Thus, your English skills will become better rapidly. As I mentioned in the previous point, the communication skill will also better by this way. You will be more confident when speaking in a large group or in the public.

This is my ideal about the advantages of studying abroad. In the next time Giang will talk about the disadvantages of this situation.
