Three months later.

Today was a supply run and I had to go this time. I got my stuff all together and I saw Lea was at the door. "You have to go this time?"

"Yeah."

"Just be safe, OK."

"I will be." I said kissing her.

I got outside and put my things in the trunk and waited in the car. Half of our people are coming and the other half aren't for some reason. But I could see why. I checked my gun to see if I had enough bullets when Collin came in. We got this new girl a few months ago, her name is Evelyn. She's good as a friend, but she won't stop trying to make me hit on her. Collin was going to ask her out, but I don't know what happened. "So, you asked Evelyn out yet?"

"Yeah, she said no. I think she still has the hots for you."

"I'll talk to her when we're getting supplies if you'd like."

"Can you. Cause I think I might have a chance with her."

"Yeah I will. And you do have a chance with her, she just doesn't know it."

He smiled and we were off for supplies.

We got to the place and we all went in different directions. I went over to Collin and said "I'll talk to her now. If I'm not back in ten, come check, OK."

He nodded and pretend to look at stuff. I walked over by her and said "Evelyn, we need to talk."

"About what, how you want me badly?" She said coming closer.

"No. Listen, Collin is a..." before I could finish, she pinned me up against the wall. "Come on Grimes, you know you want me." She said kissing my neck.

"No, I don't." I said trying to pull her away.

She stopped and looked me in the eye. She looked down and grabbed my thing tight. "We both know that your lying. Deep down I know you want me badly."

"No I don't." I said pushing her away. "I have my girl back at the hospital and she means the world to me."

"But we know you need someone to fuck cause she's pregnant. So fuck me Grimes."

"No, she still means the world to me. Listen, Collin is a great guy. He's probably one of the nicest people I know. So if you can, take him." I said walking away.

I walked over to Collin and he asked "How'd it go?"

"Well, she was about to fuck me. But I think you have a chance."

He smiled and said "Thank you."

"Any time."

He walked away and I was grabbed some more stuff. I was going to walk back, but Evelyn stopped me and asked "Why don't you want me? I'm everything a man would ever want."

"Well, I'm the kinda guy who gets a women and stays with her."

She rolled her eyes and stomped off. I just chuckled a little and walked to a car.

We got back to the place and I helped then unpack everything. I went to my room to go to bed cause iy was night. I saw Lea was lying there reading a book. "How was the run?"

"Like any other run, boring."

She laughed a little. I lyed down on the bed and asked her "How was your day?"

"Same old same old. Hanged out with Maggie and played with Judith. Which, me and Maggie found something out earlier today."

"What is it?"

She turned over and said "Give me your hand." I did. "Now, close your eyes."

"Do I have to?"

"Do you want to find out?"

I chuckled a little and did. I felt her move my hand somewhere. When she put my hand down, she said "Now, move your hand up and down."

I did, I felt a little bump. "Is that what I think it is."

"If your thinking on a baby bump, than yes."

That was what I was thinking. I opened my eyes and moved the covers and saw the baby bump. I smiled and she did too. I picked her up so her head was on my chest, she fell asleep and I rubbed her belly a little and fell asleep.
