"Close the door when you come in" said Mrs.Kidd as I walked into the lunch room. I felt the cold air of the door shut behind me. It was Monday morning at school, and I was already getting yelled at! As I walked by, she gave me the "Yah, don't let me catch you doing that again" look. My friends called my name to come sit with them. "Hey Logan!" Tie said. "Did you bring my book back?" I thought of a funny prank to play on her. "Oh no! I left it at my house, i'm so sorry" I said jokingly. After a couple seconds, she gave me a slap on the arm. "Are you serious! The home work is due today! I need my book!" She sounded like she was going to explode! All of my friends looked at me and her. "Just kidding Tie, I have it in my bag." Her face turned red with relief. I gave her the book and she put it in her bag. "Hey look, it's Liz." Gabby said as she waved to her. "Wow, she came in late." I said when I looked at the clock. It was 8:43, and the bell was about to ring for us to get to 1st period.
