Questions and Flower Crowns (Arcee x Shy!Beat up! Reader)

Jesus! I have been gone for waaaaaay too long! How are you my babies!? It's been a rough while, but I am so excited to be back and posting, like, 8 new stories! It's great to be back!

Now, this is a bit of a concoction of caffeine and neck pain. YO GURL GOT TO SEE SEBASTIAN BACH (Lead singer of Skid Row!) AND THE GREAT WHITE TWO NIGHTS AGO!!! My neck still aches from headbanging so much. But it inspired me to write this, so it was worth it!

Anyways, this is for my dear @TransformerRouge! Sweetheart, I hope you love this! I'm sorry I ran with this, but I might write yours again with just a shy reader!

Enjoy the story!

WARNING: This story contains slight language, a lil bit of gore (I'M SORRY I COULDN'T RESIST!)

Reader's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe this was happening. Not today, of all days! It wasn't supposed to be like this!

It had started out as an average day; Jack came to my house and picked me up on Arcee (Ratchet doesn't play babysitter in the morning), we both went to class, I got my homework perfect, still couldn't ask a question in class. Nothing had seemed out of place. Except for when I went to get into Ratchet to go to the Autobot base.

I had opened his door and was just about to step in when a hand grabbed my backpack and yanked me back, shoving me to the hard concrete. I let out a yelp of pain and surprise as I whipped my head up to identify my attacker.

Vince.

Dammit.

"Going somewhere, nerd?" Vince sneered, leaning near my face. I felt my heart pound as my body began to shake.

"H-home..." I whispered.

"Well, now you're not." Vince laughed, slamming Ratchet's door shut. The medic grunted at the force but said nothing as he watched Vince advance. I felt my heart leap into my throat as I quickly stood and ran. I heard Vince shout at me, but I continued to run as hard as I could. Vince's thundering footsteps followed close to mine. I had almost made it to my neighborhood when Vince tackled me, my face slamming into the concrete below me and smacking into the brick building in front. Vince lifted me roughly, pinning my body to the brick building.

I gasped out as all the air escaped my lungs, my cheek burning as blood dribbled down my chin. I could feel another cut opening above my eyebrow, blood dripping down and running next to my eye. I panted desperately, struggling to get air.

"What the fuck were you thinking!?" Vince spat, smacking me across the face. I let my face swing to the side, biting my lip to silence any sounds. I could feel a panic attack building as I continued to try and control my breathing. Vince growled at my lack of answer, punching me in the face. My head flew back, cracking loudly against the brick wall. I screamed in pain, a loud, shrill wail shattering the deafening silence. Vince flinched, his eyes widening in fear as he let go of me and ran off. I fell to the ground, hands instinctively reaching behind my head to grab the now bleeding split across the span of my head.

Blood coated my hands, creating a slippery mess in my hair. I sobbed as my breathing became rapid and shallow. My thought process became scrambled as I struggled to remember what I should do in this situation. My confusion was solved when Ratchet pulled up a few moments later, quickly ushering me into him as he sped towards the base in a panicked flurry of screeching tires and terrified comms.

"Ratchet to base! Prepare the med bay immediately! (Y/n) is in unstable condition and needs immediate medical attention! Call Nurse Darby at once!" Ratchet asserted, moving the seatbelt strap enough to keep jiggling me awake. I licked my lips nervously, looking at my bloodied hands, watching small drops fall from my face, continuing to stain my red hands. I looked at the radio slowly, barely registering Ratchet talking to me.

"You're gunna be fine, (Y/n). Just... Stay awake okay? Sweet Primus, what were you thinking?" Ratchet stressed.

~At the Autobot Base~

Arcee's P.O.V.

I had been the first to receive the emergency comm and immediately felt terror grip me. Jack quickly dialed his mother, reporting that there was an emergency at the base with (Y/n), and all I could think was why was I not there!?

Of all the stupid, meat bags to be harmed, it had to be (Y/n)? The quiet, shy girl who couldn't hurt others. Scrap, she couldn't even tell people her true opinion, she was too nervous they might get hurt!

I sped back to base, throwing Jack off of me as I raced to prepare the med bay for (Y/n). I knew she hated the hospital, so I hurried to make it as comfortable as I could for her.

Why couldn't I have been there to protect her? What even happened? Cons? Car accident? Did she fall? Frag!

I slammed my fist on the control panel, feeling anger bubble inside me. I already understood why I felt the way I felt, Jack explained everything as best he could. But that didn't stop me from being pissed about it and denying it. I cared so much for the human I wasn't assigned to, and I hated not being able to protect her. I despised not being able to be there. June raced through the tunnel, yanking a large med bag from the back of her car as she raced over to me.

"Where's (Y/n)?" June demanded, prepping her tools.

"I don't know, Ratchet should be here any moment." I responded, trying to keep the stress and sass out of my vocalizer. June nodded absent mindedly, still preparing what she was planning on using.

"Do you know what happened?" She quickly asked, stopping to look up at me. I felt coolant begin to fill my optics, but I quickly blinked it away.

"No." I whispered.

June looked at me, sympathy filling her own eyes. She quickly turned away, riffling through her bag once again. Suddenly, a medical siren filled the base. I felt my spark pound nervously as Ratchet raced in.

"She needs help NOW!" Ratchet hollered, stopping just feet from June as he yanked his doors open. The sight that greeted me made me sick.

Red.

Crimson red painted Ratchet's interior, the deepest shades surrounding (Y/n)'s beaten body. I saw Jack choke on a gag as the overwhelming stench of blood filled the room. June quickly grabbed (Y/n), bringing her to the med bay and getting to work on her. I could only stare in horror as June rushed to bandage bleeding wounds, and assessing the growing number of bruises on the girl.

Ratchet stood by, muttering angrily to himself as coolant dripped down his face. I left the med bay in a hurry when June pulled out a needle and thread, telling Jack to comm me the second June was finished.

It took a while for June to fix (Y/n) back up, but it was done.

Jack got me once (Y/n) was presentable, and I raced back to her side. The rest of the team hurried to return when they caught wind of what had happened and now stood around the young teen, watching in scared anticipation. Everyone was feeling the heavy guilt sitting above them as we all stared down at the injured human. She had been beaten pretty badly, the rugged stains of the fight showing in the stitches across above her eyebrow, the shaved part of her hair where June stitched the back of her head, and the bruises that littered her body.

She would no doubt be in a lot of pain when she woke.

That was the new question filtering around the base. She had exhausted her body immensely, and June couldn't put a point on how long (Y/n) may need to sleep.

I remained next to (Y/n)'s side the entire time regardless. I kept the lights turned off for when she woke up, but that didn't assist me. I fought through my own physical exhaustion, forcing myself to stay awake in case (Y/n) woke. I brought my knees to my chassis as I watched my dear sleep. I sighed, resting my head against my folded arms. I felt my eyes closing and, as hard as I tried, I couldn't stop the exhaustion washing over me.

Reader's P.O.V.

I groaned, opening my eyes slowly. The first thing I realized was the absence of light. While I had been expecting bright lights, I didn't expect the tired snores. I turned my head slightly, wincing at the pounding, my eyes locking onto the sight of Arcee, sleeping.

I smiled, feeling my own heart start pounding. Sure, she was a giant robot and a female, but I couldn't help the boiling feeling that filled my blood when I saw her. I just hated the fact that I was too nervous and shy to even talk to her. She picked me up for school every morning, but I only spoke to Jack. She hung around the base a lot, but I was always with Ratchet or another bot.

Suddenly, a light turned on, and I felt myself grunt at the unexpected light. However, I also noticed that I couldn't' see out of one of my eyes.

Jack walked over to me, smiling gently as he stood next to my bed.

"Hey, how are ya?" He asked quietly.

"F-fine, I g-guess." I rasped. I hadn't realized how rough my voice was from lack of use and proper hydration. I licked my lips as Jack held up a single finger, walking away quickly. He rushed back over, a bottle of water in hand.

"Here, drink this. Then, could you tell me what happened?" He insisted, holding out the cold water. I nodded slowly, greedily chugging the water. Jack watched in slight worry and amusement as I pulled the drink away, panting slightly. I swallowed, capping the bottle before hugging it to my chest, the cool spreading against my clothed skin.

"One w-word; V-Vince." I growled, closing my good eye. Jack walked to a corner, grabbing a cair before sitting it by my side.

"Care to tell me the whole story? I'm going to help you write a police report." Jack informed me, pulling out my laptop and opening it. I nodded, gulping again. I hadn't noticed Arcee stirring behind me, sitting up and listening intently to me.

"I-I had gone t-to get into R-Ratchet when Vince g-grabbed my backpack and sh-shoved me to the g-ground. I got s-scared, so I r-ran. I got p-pretty far before Vince t-tackled me into th-the side of a brick b-building where he p-proceeded to pin m-me to the building, slap-p me,  punch me in the f-face, and b-bust my head open." I stuttered, absentmindedly running a hand over the back of my head, hissing at the pain as I touched swollen, stitched skin. "A-Also, did your m-mom buzz the b-back of my h-head?" I muttered. Jack looked up at me and laughed at my last comment, nodding slowly.

"Yeah. Hey, since you're stuck in here for a while, want me to bring you some flowers to make crowns? You could make one for everyone!" Jack explained, getting excited at the thought of brightening his best friends day.

"Th-that sound's am-mazing." I sighed, smiling brightly at Jack.

"I'll be back then! Arcee, let's hit the flower store!" Jack called, running towards the base exit. Arcee stood slowly, watching me carefully as she walked away, braving our eye contact when I glanced away, blushing brightly. I looked up when I heard a motorcycle engine rev away. I let out a breath, resting my head as I allowed myself to slip into sleep once again.

I awoke to the rumble of Arcee's engine as her and Jack pulled back into the base, Jack's arms full of bags of flowers. Jack walked over to me with the flowers as Arcee transformed, smiling at the "transaction."

"Will this be enough?" Jack laughed, surrounding my bed with different, exotic flowers.

"M-more than enough! Th-thank you so m-much!" I cried, grabbing a handful to get started. Jack smiled at me before turning to Arcee. Arcee leaned down to him, listened intently to what he said, then walked over to me while Jack walked away.

"I'm being told to stick it here with you." Arcee smiled, sitting next to me. I felt my face heat up, and I nodded quickly before focusing back on my flower crown at hand. I didn't see it, but Arcee's face fell when I quickly looked away. She tilted her body down closer as her eyes focused on my flower crown.

"W-Wanna learn h-how to m-make one?" I whispered, looking shyly up at the female cybertronian.

"Nah, I'm no good with tiny... Organic... Growths..." Arcee attempted. I couldn't help the laugh that bubbled up, hiccups and snorts creating an entertaining noise cluster. Arcee watched me for a moment before joining in on the laughter.

Had the team been there, I think all of their jaws would have hung open at the gorgeous laughter spilling from her beautiful lip plates.

Dammit.

"S-So..." I stammered, still looping the crown together.

"Do you have a mate?" Arcee inquired, her voice firm. Was that... Jealousy?

"H-HAH!?" I cried, whipping to look up at Arcee. "N-NO! I-I'm not r-really into a-anybody here..." I whispered. Arcee leaned back on her servos.

"Do you want a mate?" She asked openly. I felt my face boil in embarassment.

"Y-Yeah..." I muttered.

"Good, cause me too. I want you." Arcee stated simply, shifting her head to look down at me. A light blue tint dusted her face plates, but I was too busy trying to calm my burning face to notice.

"R-Real-lly!?" I stuttered. Arcee nodded. She reached a servo out to me, and I moved into her hand. She lifted me to her face plates. I slowly held my hands out, cupping her cheeks to the best of my abilities, leaning forward enough to press a chaste kiss to her upper lip plate. I could hear her cooling vents kick in as her optics fluttered.

"I love you, (Y/n)..." Arcee whispered, bringing me to her chassis, where I could feel her spark beating rapidly behind the warm metal. I took a shuddering breath, leaning into her.

"I love you too."

And I didn't stutter.

DONE! I'M DONE! FINISHED!

Okay, this is a little messy, but I haven't read through it yet, so deal with it. Also, I'm thinking about starting a tumblr with Transformers Imagines, stories and Scenarios. Would you guys support that if I did start one? Good idea? Bad idea?

Any ways, this was for my baby @TransformersRouge! I hope this was alright for you!

I'm busy watching A Haunting. I'll try to update more now!

Welp, that's all for now!
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I shall see you all in the next chapter!
