❓ Why would God sacrifice His Son?

"For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world, that He even gave His One and only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him as Savior shall not perish, but have eternal life.

❓ Who is the Son?

In the beginning before all time was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
John 1:1 AMP

And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we actually saw His glory, glory as belongs to the One and only begotten Son of the Father, the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).
John 1:14 AMP

For in Him all the fullness of Deity (the Godhead) dwells in bodily form completely expressing the divine essence of God.
Colossians 2:9 AMP

who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it;

I and the Father are One in essence and nature.”

❓ Did He agree to being sacrificed or was He forced?

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on listening, but do not understand; Keep on looking, but do not comprehend.’

Jesus is God in the flesh, having the nature and essence of God and having the body of a human. This is how He was able to die; His body. This didn't make Him any less God. The ultimate and final proof that He was God was when He rose Himself from the dead.

God is One and He Himself gave His life to save ours even though we hated Him.
