A copy-pasted excerpt from the last chapter:
I will be hosting a Q&A about "Version A!" If you'd like to submit questions, please don't hesitate to comment.
Also, this book will be coming to a close. A sequel is in the works, and I plan on releasing it after Season Four of the anime puts out more episodes. For my manga readers, I'm sorry that I can't deliver more than the anime gives!
If you have questions regarding the manga, I'll put them at the end of the Q&A and label them as "Manga Spoilers!"
Moreover, I will be hosting a raffle, as a little thank you notation for how far we've come! The winner of the drawings (one only) will get to choose from two options: a sketch of their favorite MHA character (manga or anime), or a oneshot of a pairing of their choice (OC, self, character, etc.). I will be posting a list on my account board of those who want to participate in the raffle, and you'll get an extra entry if you share/announce the book on your message board!
Thank you all for supporting me through this wonderful journey, and hopefully you continue to read and enjoy the content I provide.
Plus Ultra!

The night after, while all the UA students were getting ready to sleep, wishing each other goodnight and heading to bed, others outside the campus were active, stalking to a meeting spot in the dead of night.
"Why did you call us here, Tomura-kun?" Toga's yellow eyes sparkled in the dim moonlight, sitting atop an old crate. "We usually meet in the bar, and this place doesn't have a heater. It's cold." The bluenette didn't reply, and just waited, thinking about something.
"We need to discuss."
"About what? The people that we're meeting here today?" Magne interjected, curiously peering at the ringleader. Shigaraki merely shook his head, lifting his eyes to glaze over the group before him.
"I've received intel about (L/N)." The team perked up, immediately invested in what he had to say.
"Oh? You mean the student that we captured before?" Compress asked, a hand propping up his chin, "You never told us why you were so interested in them." Shigaraki's hand moved to scratch a bit at his neck, flakes of skin peeling off at his fingertips.
"I'm only interested in them because Master was. He said that they were a good tool, and sometime in the future that they would become a valuable asset to our team," he stated, posture bold and brooding, "That time is now, from what I've heard. They're confused about who they are. Our spy said that now was the perfect time, as the hero work-studies were starting. (L/N), during that period of time, will no longer have that protection they do at UA."
"What about the pro hero? (L/N) will be working at a powerful agency, most likely."
"That's the hard part." The league broke into silence, a familiar tension building up in the air.
"We'll figure it out, somehow, don't worry Tomura-kun!" Toga cheered joyfully, "We'll make sure to recruit a new friend!" Her little hyping session was interrupted by a knock on the abandoned shed door. An impromptu visit that made Toga narrow her eyes, the bright smile falling from her face.
"Oh, they're here."

Friday was finally here, and I finally felt a tiny bit of elation after such a dark period of time. I'd been scheduled to meet with Gang Orca and work under him for the duration of the weekend.
The school day passed normally, with a little bit of chatter, the constant yelling from Bakugo, and whines of complaint that came from students who missed their fellow classmates. Of course, I too was slightly disappointed that Uraraka wasn't here to talk with me about the latest hero news, or gossip about whatever current events there were. Yesterday I'd sent a letter to Gang Orca's agency regarding the hero work studies program, and I'd been accepted, fortunately.
I had a chance to work along with my old friends and colleagues, which was exciting, and with my license I'd be treated as a real sidekick, making a debut in the hero world. When the final bell rang, I wasted no time to pack my things and rushed outside, hurrying to the train station.
As the subway pulled up, heavy breaths racked my chest as I hopped into one of the compartments, panting. With my ticket in hand and my bag on my back, I flopped down into one of the seats, sighing in relief as the doors closed and the train to Kyoto left.
My eyes drifted to the window, the walls of the train station jerking forwards, dissolving into streaks of grey. I finally rested my head on the front of the chair, glad to have finally made it.
"Oh, you're a UA student?" My eyelids shot open again, startled by the sudden voice that appeared. A figure sat in front of me, chuckling a bit at my reaction. It was like he appeared out of nowhere. He was clad in a well-fitting beige coat, formal dress pants and shoes, as well as a tucked-in light-yellow shirt.
"Sorry to startle you, I didn't mean to," he apologized, shifting uncomfortably in his seat.
"Ah, it's okay," I replied, smiling a little bit, "I'm just a bit jumpy, that's all." We both laughed, his brown eyes crinkling in amusement. After a couple of seconds, he asked me another question, though I wasn't really in the mood to answer.
"What are you headed to Kyoto for? I assume it's part of your studies at the hero school, right?" Man this guy was nosy.
"Yeah," I mumbled, grinning awkwardly, trying to move to another topic, "What about you?" The man beamed at me, taking out a packet of cards from his pocket and whipping out a hat from nowhere.
"I'm glad you asked! I'm on a magician's task!" He sure had the personality of an entertainer.
"Oh that's so cool," I said meekly, trying my best hand at complementing him so he'd leave me alone. Alas, my plan didn't work, as he kept bugging me with tricks and trying to impress me with colorful flowers and multitudes of ribbon spouting from his sleeve.
Being polite, I just clapped with a smile plastered onto my features, not wanting to be rude during the short performance. This lasted for the whole train ride, and once the vehicle stopped, I excused myself, partially glad to be getting away from the magic man.
That was exhausting, my cheeks even hurt from smiling so much.
I stepped off the train and looked behind me, expecting to see the guy also get off. Once he did, I made sure he didn't follow me anywhere, cautiously turning my head every so often to peer at him. The stranger stood still for a few moments, typing something on his phone, then wheeled around, strolling the opposite way then turned a corner, leaving my field of vision.
Thank God.
Like something was lifted off of my chest, I could confidently stroll to the bus stop, waiting for the designated driver to come and pick me up.
The feeling of adrenaline was coursing through me, although I was just stopping in place for a few minutes. My feet felt like they were vibrating with how much stored-up energy that they held. Suddenly having an urge to bounce up and down, excitement filling my head and hands, my fingers drummed on the straps of my backpack.
My bus finally pulled up, the familiar flashing sign of '7B' blinking at me. The tips of my lips curled as the doors opened and the driver I had last time glanced at me, eyebrows raised and eyes widening.
"Kid! It's you again!" he heartily chuckled, beckoning for me to come on, "It's not that bad in here, don't be shy!" My face bloomed into a genuine smile as I took the steps onto the platform, scanning my bus pass and walking back to sit. The driver winked at me through the review mirror and revved up the bus. The doors hissed shut with a thud and we took off, bumbling along the road.
Views of the city passed me by without a second thought, and I could only begin to imagine what it would be like. In the moment, there wasn't anything on my mind -- no troubles, no worries, no stress of having to be the model hero. The tire in my muscles faded away, replaced by a sense of serenity and calmness.
Just me in the world.
