Levy P.O.V

" What the hell!!" Natsu shouted, drawing odd looks from others at the train station. I rubbed my now sore and ringing ears. "Chill Salamander,  if that's what he wants to learn let him." Natsu just gaped at Gajeel before pointing at Igneel who was standing next to a bemused Gray. "A fire dragon learning ice?! What blasphemy is this?!" "Oi!" Gray shouted and I laughed.

Gajeel smirked a little. "You know, having both fire and ice at his disposal could be a great asset." Tsundera said as she stood beside me. Natsu simply grumbled while Igneel laughed and clapped his shoulder. " Relax kid, I'll be back soon." He said with a grin.

He looked to Metalicanna who stood beside his magic teacher, Erza. "Just, don't kill him ok?" Erza smiled a little as she crossed her arms. " No promises." He laughed at the look on his dragons face. They could train here, but Erza said he would have to travel to find the perfect weapons and armor for his arsenal. The only one staying was Grendiney, who was training in plant magic with Droy. Tsundera was off to Lamia Scale to meet with Sherry and learn Doll Magic.

After saying our good byes and making sure they were set, the train left. He took my hand as we followed Grendiney and a steaming Natsu as we headed back to the guild." You alright shrimp?" He asked as he looked down at me. I nodded, tapping my lip with my free hand. " I'm just thinking about where Zeref might be hiding. And something else is bothering me." He raised an eyebrow, urging me to continue. " If he's able to turn other dragons human... What about Acnolgia..." He tensed at my whispered words, pulling us to a stop.

I looked up at him with fear clear in my eyes. He pulled me closer and wrapped an arm securely around me, "Don't worry shrimp, I won't let anything happen to you or them." He said quietly, knowing I would hear him. I chuckled softly as I clutched at his shirt. "You'll be super man huh?" He chuckled. "Gihee, that's right."

It was starting to get dark by the time we left the guild and Gajeel walked me home. Theo was dozing off on my shoulder and Lily was flying close by. We had spent the afternoon watching Grendiney train, and she was catching on easily. As we reached the gates of Fairy Hills I stretched up on my toes and kissed Gajeel softly. " Good night." I said with a soft smile. He smiled back, a sweet smile he saved for me. " Night shrimp. You gonna be ok?" I nodded before kissing him again and walking into Fairy Hills. Once I reached my room I carefully walked over my books to the window, waving to Gajeel before he headed home.

I laid Theo on my bed, where he happily curled into my pillow. I got changed into my pjs, an over sized shirt and some shorts, before grabbing a book and sitting beside Theo. I wasn't reading long when a scent caught my attention. I frowned and breathed deep, wrinkling my nose. I set down my book and headed into the hall, meeting Wendy who was peeking out her door. " You smell it too Levy-san?" she asked quietly and I nodded.

I quietly headed downstairs, Wendy close behind me. A movement outside one of the windows caught my attention and I frowned. I peeked out the front window to see a lone figure with their hands raised. As I caught sight of the green haired figure I suddenly recognized the scent. It was the earth dragon. " Wendy, get all of the girls down here right now." I said quietly. She all but flew up the stairs and went througj, waking up the girls.

I watched the dragon quietly, knowing I shouldn't engage alone. His form glowed slightly and my eyes widened as a wall of dirt and thick roots began to rise and tower over the dorms. I sprinted upstairs and grabbed the group of girls. Theo and Carla were there as well, looking right confused. " Levy whats-" "No time!" I pulled out my old light pen and wrote a quick rune around us, just as the ceiling caved in.

Gajeel P.O.V

I yawned as I walked beside Lily, heading to the guild. "Not getting Levy this morning?" Lily asked. "She said she was going shopping with bunny girl today, so I figured we could go on a short day job." He nodded as we opened the guild doors. " Morning guys, no Levy today?" Mira asked as she cleaned a mug. I shook my head as I sat at the bar. "Where's Kinana? " Lily asked and I realized the purple haired girl was gone. " I think she's still at home. Laki hasn't made it in either."she frowned slightly.

" Would you like us to go check on them? They live st the dorm right?" the exceed ask as I munched on a plate of scrap. " That would be great." she said with a smile. I finished off my scrap before getting up again. " Alright Lil' let's get goin." I said before getting up and heading to Fairy Hills. I didn't know why, but as we got closer, I got a sour feeling in my gut.

And for good reason.

Fairy Hills came into view, and it was completely demolished. It reminded me somewhat of when I had demolished the guild. The three story building was crumpled in on itself, buried underneath a mountain of earth and roots. As the initial shock wore off I found myself sprinting to the ruined building. "Lily go get help!" I shouted back at the exceed as I turned my hand into a pick and started digging through the rubble.

As I broke through dirt and uncovered pieces of building I could hear feet running up behind me. I pulled away chunks of building, making a space big enough for me to get in. Natsu climbed in after me followed by Lucy and Romeo. We were on what was left of the third floor, in front of us the landing was gone, all collapsed to the ground below. I grabbed onto rubble, using it to carefully slide down to the ground. "Levy! Juvia!" I shouted, trying to pull pieces of rubble away.

I could barely make out a slender hand as I dug. "Oi over here!" I shouted to the others who were digging aways away. Natsu and Romeo helped me lift away the rubble to uncover first Evergreen,  then Juvia and soon, all of the girls were dug out. They were mostly unharmed, the last bits of a rune dissolving as they were uncovered. They were unconscious from the fall from the third floor, and a bit bruised but safe.

It took nearly an hour to get them all out, and by the time I pulled myself out they were starting to wake up. Wendy was first, sitting up quickly only to be attacked by a worried Grendiney.  Evergreen was surrounded by the Thunder Legion and Elfman.  I sat beside Levy who started to stir, and she winced as she moved slightly. "Where does it hurt?" I asked, trying to keep the worry out of my voice. " My shoulder... I think it dislocated in the fall..." she groaned as she sat up, leaning against me. I looked up and saw Grendiney kneel beside us. She gentle grabbed Levy and checked her shoulder, I had to bite back a growl as Levy hissed in pain.

" Brace yourself." She said and Levy took a deep breath. With a shove and a quick snap, Grendiney put her shoulder back in place. Once Levy collected herself she let me help her to her feet. " So what happened?" Mira asked as she looked around at the girls. Levy growled angrily. " That damn earth dragon!"she snarled and I was a little taken a back by her anger.  " So they are still in the area," the master said as he approached us. "Are you girls alright?" They all nodded. "What now then?"Evergreen asked as she adjusted her glasses. It was Levy who answered, in a dangerous quiet tone. " We hunt them down, before they kill us."
