Levy P.O.V

" GAJEEL!!" I screamed as I caught him. I carefully lowered him to the ground and looked at him. His skin was already sickly pale  and the wound in his chest was turning black with void while he coughed up blood. I put my hands on the wound, half to stop the bleeding and half to make contact. " Water Dragons Cleansing." I choked out between sobs. The wound glowed a pure blue before the void dissipated, but he was still bleeding heavily. I turned to my stunned group of friends and caught the eyed of the small dragon slayer. She shook the shock off before rushing over.

I gasped as the void dragon moved to attack her. A growl rumbled deep in my chest and my form iced over in scales. With speed I wasn't aware I possessed, I launched myself at him, tackling him away from the small girl. " Levy-chan!" Lucy shouted. " This bastard is mine." I growled at her. My anger seemed to give me more energy and I could feel my own magic growing within me. He lashed at me and I rolled to the side, forming my arm into an sheer icy point. "Frozen Water Dragons Lance!" I shouted, shooting of frozen projectiles at the dragon. He rolled to the side but I smirked as one pierced his side.

I unfroze my arm and held my hands out to him. " Water Lock!" he gasped as water surrounded him and he tried breaking freeze. " Ice Needle!" Dozens of frozen points formed inside the water lock, several piercing him. " Spout of the Water Dragon!" The water inside the lock began to swirl and bash the dragon into the frozen point. I didn't stop until the water lock was died red and then I released it, dropping his limp form onto the dirt. The energy that had suddenly risen in me, just as quickly vanished and I found my legs caving under me.

Two slender arms caught me and I looked up to see Lucy. "Gajeel?" I asked weakly. " Wendy stopped the bleeding but we need to get you both back to the guild." I nodded and before I knew it, my world was surrounded in darkness.

Lucy P.O.V

With Theos help I got Levy on my back, glad she was so light. Natsu walked over to the dead dragon, making sure he was down for the count. " Levy-san has so much power."Wendy whispered as she looked at the man and I nodded. "Let's just get them back and let the master know what happened."Lily said as he transformed and tossed Gajeel over his shoulder. We nodded and headed back to the train station,  and from there, back to the guild.

" We just can't get a break can we?" I groaned as I looked at our bashed and battered guild. We pushed inside to find our guild mates in slightly better shape than the guild itself. "And what happened to you all?" The master asked, looking at the two comatose dragon slayers. " The quest was a trap, that void dragon was waiting for us. What happened here?" I asked as I looked around and he was quiet for a moment.

" We are all lucky to be alive. Zeref brought another dragon, in human form.... Acnolgia." I gasped and tensed, nearly dropping Levy. " We managed to hold him off but I'm sure he'll be back. There is still that earth dragon as well." He said quietly. He sighed a little then motioned for us to take them to the infirmary. I followed Lily, placing Levy beside Gajeels bed and tended to her minor wounds. Gajeel was on the pale side and his face had a pained look, Wendy doing what she could for him. " Is he going to be alright?" I asked quietly.

She sighed a little. " Since he took the full hit of void magic, the damage had already started. All I can do is heal what I can." She said, sniffing a little. I frowned and gently pat her shoulder. " He'll be alright Wendy, just do what you can for him." She nodded and wiped her eyes before going back to work. I watched them for a few minutes before going back to the main guild hall.
