Bachelorette party

July 7th, 17:00.
The airport.

After a long flight, David and Melissa Shield's plane had already landed. Father and daughter were happy to be in Japan, where they would meet All Might, Izuku Midoriya and the rest of new Pro Heroes they once met as students.

Melissa was now a stunning young woman, and at that moment she had an important position at her father's company, but one look to the girl's still early career path as inventor and scientist would deny any rumor of nepotism. Her progress as a scientist was worldwide known and her inventions had helped professional heroes from different countries, including the now notorious Deku. She never lost contact with All Might and Class 1A and was excited to spend a while in Japan, where she would meet the girls at Uraraka's party and of course would attend to the wedding. Who would have guessed those two would become more than friends...

"UNCLE ALL MIGHT!" Melissa joyfully run to hug her father's now skinny and not so muscular friend, who had come to receive her.

"WHOA!" exclaimed All Might when the girl landed on his arms. "Take it easy, Melissa, I am not that powerful anymore!" he smilingly recovered his breath as he hugged her. "My God, look at you... the little Melissa is now an all grown up woman".

"You also look great, even as a long retired hero" said David as he reached them.

"DAVID!" All Might shook his hand with enthusiasm. "I can't tell you how I missed you two!"

"We were also looking forward to see you and the rest! I can't believe we are attending to two iconic Pro Heroes' wedding that are also friends of mine!" Melissa's business in Japan could wait. Reunion and a bachelorette party would only be the appetizers.

"Speaking of that... how is Midoriya?" asked the inventor.

"Oh, he's been very busy. Since he is so close to become the Symbol of Peace he can hardly catch a break" answered All Might. "The boy has never disappointed me. Don't worry, I think I managed to make him stay out of work for these days".

"Go easy on him. I still remember when I married your mother, Melissa. All Might had to convince me to just focus on the wedding" David affectionately remembered.

"And I was the one who arrived late because of work..." All Might admitted with  an embarrassed grin.

"That truck would have felt from the bridge if it wasn't for you. There is no need to feel sorry..."

After a while chatting, David told his daughter to stay and catch up with All Might while he would go straight to the hotel. The man declared he needed some rest after the jet lag. All Might agreed. Melissa and him had a lot of things to discuss. And some of them would remain unknown to her father for the moment...

June 8th, 19:30.
Momo's mansion.

Once Melissa had arrived, there was nothing missing. She already knew Momo, Jirou, Tsuyu, Mina, Toru, and of course, the bride, who she happily hugged and congratulated in person as soon as she met her:

"Jeez, I still can't believe you are the first of the group to get married! And with no other than Deku!"

"Thank you, Melissa. It means a lot you are here. These are Camie and Hatsume!" she introduced them. Melissa was pleased to meet another well known hero. It was a bit awkward that she was one of her friends' ex girlfriend, but the girls had convinced Camie to come and have a little fun, now she felt a little better after her break up.

"AAAAAH!! IT IS YOU! MELISSA SHIELD!! FROM I-ISLAND!!" Mei Hatsume took a surprised Melissa by the shoulders and shook her, while she grinned in enthusiasm. "I'M SUCH A BIG FAN OF YOUR BABIES!!"

"Get ready, Melissa..." thought Uraraka, a little guiltly amused.

"My... what?" Melissa asked even more surprised. "Wow, you are Mei Hatsume! You have designed costumes and accesories for almost half of the Japanese Pros!"

It was true. Hatsume's eccentricity was only matched by her skills at the store. Deku's own costume was only a small sample of her talent.

"Nice to meet you, Hatsume" she smiled at the energetic girl from the old Class 1C. "You are also a reference in I-Island. And the gang speaks wonders about you". Well, Iida not so much. He often refered to her as self-absorbed, reckless, inmature and, all in all, some sort of Dr Frankenstein. But there couldn't be too much bad blood, since somehow she was his date for the following day.

"WELL!" Mina called from upside, at the end of the stairs. She was wearing a pack of soda cans in one hand and another of beer cans i the other, looking more than ready for the night. "Now we all know each other... what about getting this party started?"

"We were born ready! Weren't we, girls?" Uraraka lively jumped.

Momo had made sure they had the whole mansion for them. They had time to order pizzas, play with Hatsume's "babies" in the garden, do a dancing contest, playing some truth or dare, and even performing an improvised concert with the instruments Jirou had brought for the occasion. The rocker girl was amazing with a guitar while the rest did what they could, but the time they had was beyond great. Especially a slightly boozy Toru on the mic:

"Zhank you! ZHANK YOU ALL!! What? DO U UANT ANOTHER ONNEE!?"

"Take it easy, Invisible Girl" Mina laughed, bringing her to the coach.

The next thing they did was to watch a video recording they kept from a Halloween party when they were still in U.A.. Back then Toru had taken advantage of her invisibility to film some really memorable scenes from that night...

VIDEO (FIVE YEARS AGO, OCTOBER 31st, U.A.).

Cut 1:

A spiky blonde haired student dressed in black and orange, with green grenade like bracelets and black gloves was knocking a dorm's door.

"Bakugou?" he asked in a voice that was definitely not Bakugou's. "Are you ready? Come on, I told you: it's going to be fun!"

Then the door opened and revealed a spiky red haired student who was wearing a Red Riot outfit, but looked way too serious to be Kirishima.

"Tse!" smirked the Kirishima disguised as Bakugou. "Trick or treat...
extra?" Kirishima asked faking his friend's always pissed tone of voice and mimicking his combat pose.

"This is beyond stupidity" said the Bakugou disguised as Kirishima. "You at least look like a winner for once".

"You on the other hand... look quite misplaced, my friend.  You see, Halloween is a date to get dressed like... ugly and menacing creatures that would scare the crap out of children..." Kirishima replied, unable to contain his laugh while he pointed himself with both thumbs.

"SAY THAT AGAIN, YOU SHITTY HAIR!?"  disguised or not, now nobody would miss that was Katsuki Bakugou yelling.

"I'M NOT THE SHITTY HAIR, YOU SHITTY HAIR!" Kirishima impersonated him again, making all the girls watching laugh. "And I'll have you know I will be a winner... the winner of the contest for the most terrifying costume at least!" he finally pranked in laughs, running away as the real and mad Bakugou cursed and started to activate his Quirk and chase him.

Cut 2:

"Wow, Deku! I love your look for this evening!" said Uraraka. He was wearing a zombie version of his own hero costume that included a darker green tone, fake blood stains and sewed injuries everywhere, pale make up urden the hood and spooky yellow contact lenses, but somehow Eri still felt safe and happy by his side.

"Thanks, Uraraka!" Oh yes, true, they were still just friends back then. "But I've got to say your costume is the most creative I've seen today" Deku really meant it. Uraraka was dressed as a Gryffindor's Quidditch player and even rode a broomstick that floated thanks to her Quirk.

"Aaaaaand here is the little Eri, ready to ask for candy" said Toru behind the camera. Eri was sweetly smiling in front of the camera, wearing one of Deku's old All Might's onesies he used when he was her age. "Oh my, aren't you cutest thing here?

"We must get going Eri. Togata is waiting for us downstairs" Deku said taking the little one's hand. "See you later, Uraraka!"

"Good bye!" Eri waved a hand at Uraraka.

"Bye, Eri! Bye, Deku!" she responded as they walked away.

"They are adorable, aren't they?" the camera girl asked when they were out of sight.

"Totally. Deku looks a Daddy chaperoning his child..." sighed an absent-minded Uraraka.

"Ohhh, you are thinking about Midoriya with Eri... I was talking about kids in general..." Toru teased dancing around her friend.

"OH!!" Uraraka instantaneously blushed and fell on her ass. "Of course!! Kids are adorable...!!" she got up and compose herself as fast as she could. "WOULD YOU JUST STOP FILMING?! she jumped to the screen and the camera was shaken until the cut finished, while Toru naughtily laughed.

Cut 3:

"TA-DAAA!" Iida (as Phoenix Wright) and Mineta (as the Ice King from Adventure Time) spitted their drinks at the same time when Hatsume made her entrance in the living room dressed like Lisbeth, from Sword Art Online. In the morning Iida would argue why it was outrageous such a mad scientist had chosen the outfit of such a kind and adorable blacksmith.

Cut 4:

This time they could see Kaminari and Jirou talking in private in the entrance of the residence. Toru carefully got close to the scene.

"You know, Denki..." Jirou bit her lower lip trying not to laugh. "Your costume totally suits you..."

"Ha ha ha" Kaminari sarcastically answered. He was dressed as the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz... the character who dreamed of having a brain. "You are also making honor to yours".

"Oh I do what I can" she smirked. She was cosplaying Raven, from Teen Titans, with the dark coated costume that showed most of her legs, the hairstyle and, of course, the sarcastic attitude.

"But you look pretty, really..." his last comment made both of them slightly blush and look everywhere in nervousness, unconscious of the invisible spy filming their conversation.

"Denki... we've already talked about this..." Jirou began. "It's not that I didn't like what happened at the drive-in cinema..."

"I swear I didn't plan it..." Kaminari declared. Seriously, among all the Naruto movies they could have projected... must it be The Last: Naruto The Movie? When they saw that scene with the two protagonists floating in the moonlight... there was nothing else than THAT on his mind.

"I never thought you did, but... hell, I guess we can't keep pretending THAT didn't happen, can we?" Jirou rubbed her forehead. "After all, two pairs of lips are required to do that...". And it was not like hers didn't play a part.

"Kyoka... I know I am the most dense guy in Class 1A. And you are right, the costume defines me very well... only here I am... looking for a heart when I should be looking for a brain..." the boy rolled his eyes. Despite the serious twist the chat had taken, Jirou couldn't help but laugh at his comment.

"Sorry. I can be rude sometimes, but... I also know you are more than the lovable dork of the Class. You can be cool, caring and funny. And you would prove it more often if you didn't try so hard and got less influenced by Mineta. I honestly don't like it when someone sees you just like an idiot with a powerful Quirk" that was no prank and was a fact.

"Actually, when it comes to opinions about me... I only care about what people I like thinks... especially you" Kaminari didn't use to talk like that.

"My God..." Jirou had been unsuccessfully avoiding his eyes, now they had come closer. "If we continue like this, I will be the one in the need of a heart..." her sarcasm didn't sound so natural now.

"Well... if this ends well... maybe I can get you covered on that..." Kaminari was only inches away with the color of his cheeks matching hers.

"This can't end well, Denki..." Jirou had to mutter due to the shorter distance, but she didn't move at all.

"Um... in that case... what about we do our best to... never make it end?" Kaminari innocently asked. That romantically idiotic response made her laugh and melt at once. When he leaned ahead and went for the moment the spectators were anxiously waiting for... the video was paused and the TV turned off.

END OF THE HALLOWEEN PARTY VIDEO SEQUENCE

********************

Jirou had just returned from the kitchen and was standing there with a violent red expression in her face and the remote control in her hand. It was natural. Discovering after five years that such a cute scene had been filmed would likely make her a little mad.

"Aww, come on, we were getting to the best part..." complained Mina.

"So... this is how started your on again off again relationships until today..." Tsuyu found it heart touching.

"TORUUUUU..." she raged as she tried to locate the invisible girl in order to kill her. But Toru had been quick enough to leave her clothes on the couch, which would bring to very long hide and seek game.

After those two made peace, there was not much left to do in the party. In fact, Camie decided she had had enough fun and would go home to sleep. Only a few hours were left before the great day. She thanked Uraraka for inviting her and Momo for being such an amazing host.

"I'm sorry if the video made you feel bad, Camie. I promise we didn't know about that last scene and Toru didn't even remember" apologized Uraraka, while she walked the clear haired girl to the door.

"Don't worry. I wouldn't be here if I couldn't handle it" Camie smiled with affection.

"Are you sure you don't want to have the last one? Can at least I offer you a ride?" asked Uraraka. She was closer to Bakugou, but she also knew Camie would be having a hard time for sure too.

"No, really! I don't live far, remember?" she sincerely thanked her. "Listen, break ups are never easy and I know you are concerned, but I am an adult and I'm facing it very well. You girls are the best for supporting me anyway" she added slightly hugging Uraraka. "See you in a few hours. Your great day is here. And you deserve it, Uravity. Midoriya is a lucky guy".

Uraraka said goodbye to her and watched her leave. As cheerful as Camie was she could only imagine what she would still be feeling inside. She hoped she could have some fun at the wedding too. Now they would all go to sleep... and even if she was getting married in less than 24 hours, she happily wished she dreamed with Deku anyway.

Meanwhile, Camie decided she would have one last drink on her way home. She had felt good for most of the party, but that video had brought her too much memories. Now she absolutely needed a Martini.

End of chapter 10.

And I thought this was going to be less enjoyable to write this chapter! What do you think, readers?

What would Melissa and All Might have to talk about?

Do you think this bachelorette party was good enough?

What about Toru's video about that old Halloween party? If I had Uraraka's Quirk I would definitely have chosen that costume. And you? Did you like the rest of the costumes and references?

If you ship Kaminari and Jiro like I do, don't forget to comment about that last scene! I don't know about you... but I was also a teen that looked for a heart when he needed a brain🙄🙄...

Oh, for Shonaku and the rest of Sonic fans that may read this: I took the idea of that part where Kirishima pranks Bakugou from a Sonic animation by a YouTube Channel named Sasso Studios. If I take inspiration from another person's work I must always give that person the deserved credit. If you don't know those animations, check them: you'll likely love them. Let's see if I remember to put a link...

Honest Fiction thanks you all and will have ready the next chapter as soon as possible. Seriously, the fact that you comment, vote, follow me or simply enjoy the story warms my soul...

I'll read you soon, amigos míos! Good bye!
