Idrila - The Aeon of Beauty

"Are ya winning-" - Silver Wolf opened the door to Firefly's room, only to find that the arsonist, the criminal, a literal warmachine that wrecked the space bugs back in the days is curled up in her own blanket on her bed. "What the hell happened?"

Silver Wolf approached Firefly, who seemed really down for some reason.

"Stelle disappeared... I went to the Astral Express, she isn't there... I asked the others about her... They hadn't managed to contact her for a few days... She didn't read my texts either..." - Firefly muttered from under her blanket, which Silver Wolf heard clearly and smirked.

"Oh well I bet she will be fine... After all ain't no one-"

Then a cat noise came from outside, which Silver Wolf immediately stood up and rushed out to check, only to see that Kafka was holding Elio (the black cat) up.

"Here's what you're going to do, write me some scripts for us to find my precious Stelle, or I will send you to the vet." - Kafka threatened.

"300k is unreachable for me..." - Blade murmurs in the corner.

Meanwhile, on Idrila's ship...

"Hey, yeah, you." - Stelle talked to you. "You might me wondering how did I get myself into this situation."

As the camera panned out and we slowly getting a clearer view of Stelle's surroundings, we get to see that she is still inside the Aeon's room, on the bed, but has a slipper alongside a pistol in her hand, she was laying on her belly and looking down over the edge of the bed, looking for something in the dark.

"It is a dark power, a vile, disgusting creature emerged from it, threatened humankind as a whole, and I was one of those unlucky few to bear the responsibility to fight against it." - Stelle said as she saw something move across the shadows of this object to another, with a formidable speed comparable to that of a Seele.

She pointed her gun at it, but it was too slow even though Stelle equipped herself with a speed boots, the frowned in annoyance knowing that.

"To truly defeat the darkness, one must embrace it first, thus the cover I have over me right now." - Stelle said as she looked around, the lights are all turned off.

"Can you shut up, Nameless? I am trying to sleep here." - Idrila said in annoyance as she laid beside Stelle on the same bed. "You can just forget that mouse, it won't do anything much regardless."

"Nuh uh. I am not going to sleep until I get my hands on it." - Stelle said with a fiery determination in her voice, but then moments later, her exhaustion took over and she lay down next to Idrila, covering herself with a blanket. "Ah... hello darkness my-"

She felt some slight rumblings on her back, something was affecting the bed, more like climbing onto it, so she turned over and sat a shadow on the ledge of the bed, right by her side, she freaked out and sat up once again, but this time, the thing, which is a mouse dropped to the ground and quickly went into hiding, just mere moments before Stelle could use the gun to shoot at it.

"Damn it!" - Stelle yelled as the mouse escaped from her grasp once again. "I shall kill it.. No... killing it would be too merciful, but then again... I will skin it alive... Nail it to the walls and dismember it... that's it..."

Stelle was letting out a scary smile, so much so that Idrila felt much unease. "Ugh..." The Aeon grunted.

Stelle proceeded to stay focused in her position, not even moving a single muscle, waiting for the rat's next appearance so she could kill it on the spot.

"Hey, Nameless. Are you not afraid of me?"

Idrila asked as she looked at the Trailblazer's form, laying next to her on the bed, being all alerted due to a mere presence of a rat, that might not intend to hurt her.

"Why would I be?" - Stelle asked.

"I am an Aeon."

"I have seen them so many times before..."

Idrila chuckled. "You're a funny one... Surely you must have been visited by the Elation?"

"No, not yet."

Idrila smiled gently, as she continued.

"It's rare to find people to casually hold a conversation with me, even back then. Only you Namelesses from the Astral Express are different, just like him." - Idrila said as she laid down once again. But then, irritations started to become visible in her voice again. "... I hated these moments."

"For being treated so lowly? Instead of being treated worthy of someone bearing Divinity like you?" - Stelle asked, looking to her, but the moment she heard something again from under the bed, she looked down with her gun ready.

"..." - Idrila didn't answer that question. Stelle could tell why, for a moment before the thought disappeared from her mind, replaced with the rat problem.

"Besides, you clearly had a thing with Akivili, and I want to know more about the Aeon of the Path i'm currently walking on." - Stelle said as she climbed down from the bed and checked under the bed with the flashlight on her phone.

"Fair enough I guess..."

"..."

There was a silence, even the rat seemed to stop moving, maybe it just knew better to lay down and wait for the conversation to continue, so that the voices would mask its movement and allow it a safer route to travel around the room, especially when there is someone actively seeking it out.

"Is trailblazing... different now?"

"..." - Stelle didn't know how to answer to this question. "Why don't you tell me how it was like back then?"

"..."

Back then...

Trailblazing.

Our way of life.

The Path of the Nameless.

To some, we are heroes.

"Buckle up guys, we're gonna burn the machine monarch." - Those were the words that Akivili the Trailblaze spoke to THEIR followers during their expedition to a system occupied by the inorganic machines of Rubert II.

The Path of Trailblaze is not an easy one as many outsiders would think of, it is not just simply rescuing people from their demise and making a name for yourself, but it is putting in your all to save those unfortunate ones without the intention of benefit from them.

"I am grateful for you to lend your assistance, Aeon of Trailblaze, my people have suffered enough in this war against those machines, it is time that we finally retake our planets. The Ordo Pacificus shall enact the Callestan Protocol to provide you the best of our support."

Akivili smiled as THEY looked over the combined might of the planet's militia alongside with the restorationist, seemingly shadowing over the Nameless and the Trailblazers from the Express.

Surely the enemies mainly consist of the machines from the Mechanical Empire overseeing this system will stand no chance before them, right?

"Regent, if the battle is going to be too costly for you, do not hesitate to retreat, the Nameless will not allow any sacrifice to be in vain." - One of the other Namelesses said, resting her hand on the shoulder of the Regent.

While everyone was getting prepared for the upcoming open conflict, one of the newly embarked Namelesses, one that hadn't experience too much the way of the Trailblaze,

approached Akivili who was standing on a hill, overlooking everyone present, of course, the Aeon noticed her presence.

"How can I help you, dear passenger?" - Akivili turned around and asked the girl, to which she replied immediately.

"You are an odd one amongst the Aeons."

Akivili chuckled lightly, clearly, the Aeon of Trailblaze had gotten that a lot, both from the outsiders and from the Nameless, to the point THEY know all of the reasons that branded them to be odd.

"You are a being of Divinity, below no one and nothing, above all else in this reality. Why do you dedicate yourself to be so close with the mortals? Is it a way to honor your humanity despite the authority you have over everyone else?" - The Nameless asked.

"Well... You are not the first one to ask me this, you know." - Akivili said as THEY turned around again and looked at the people below. "It is true, Aeons can and shouldn't get involved with such mutual matters. Qlipoth, for instance, has stopped all communications with everyone to focus on building that wall. Nous, only granted the privilege of Geniuses to those who were truly worthy of it. There is a delicate balance out there that such beings of Divinity should refrain from interfering with, but I did it because it reminded me that at the end of the day, we are not so different from who we truly are."

"..."

"As for your remaining doubts, come with me, fellow passenger." - Akivili extended THEIR hand to the Nameless stood there in front of THEM, with a warm smile on their face. "I will show you the thrills of the Trailblaze that you will surely never forget."

To some, we are just enemies, a threat to their undivided tyranny.

"I will warn you again, stay out of our Empire, or face the consequences."

It was formerly a truce between the Nameless and the race of humans known as Kastorians, a brutal and ruthless race of warriors who yearned for nothing but to conquer in blood, originally engineered by a surviving branch of the Mechanical Empire, in hope of using the biomass against the biomass during the war, now they are left behind by their own creators as failed products executing their only purpose.

"I'm sorry, Grand Master Astrid, but I cannot sit idly by and watch you destroy yourselves, that is why, let me become your enemy so we can end it all." - Those were the final words the Kastorians received before they were mercifully brought to an end.

And, in some rare cases, the Nameless could be seen... Goofing around.

"You're going to crash the Express!" - Pom Pom was yelling right beside Akivili while attempting to remove the Aeon's hands from the controls, alongside with the help of several Namelesses, some of which had been traveling with them for Amber Eras already.

"Akivili! Stop at once! I beg of you!" - She yelled as she desperately tried to remove THEIR hands, but it was no use as she sees the Aeon of the Trailblaze still has a wide smirk on THEIR face.

"Don't worry! I've got this! I shall show Aha that I can do that drift as he did!" - Akivili said proudly, that is before the brake broke in THEIR hand. "Oh crap."

...

"So? Did you get your answer yet?"

The Aeon asked, to the same girl with the same generic questions back then, now she has changed, she has witnessed the journey of the Trailblaze, a small part of the journey, yet experienced everything inside.

There were departures, ones that she wished hadn't happened.

"Oh, Smith sent us a postcard, hahaha, his daughter can walk now!"

"Get over here and help me prepare for the farewell party! We can't let our dear friend left with an empty stomach!"

There were welcomings, to the new faces, all with the spirit of journeying in them.

"My name is Akivili, Aeon of the Trailblaze, and you are?"

"Atlas. Thank you for saving me."

She thought she had seen everything, but the trailblazing had shown her much more... More beauty in the Cosmos than ever before.

And she gradually grew to understand why the Aeon would lower THEMSELVES to stand side by side with the mortals.

"Yeah, I understood... But still. You really are an odd one, Trailblaze." - She said, as she looked over, looking at the Aeon directly in the eyes, who smiled back at her. "I take it that you knew who I was from the beginning?"

"..."

Idrila then looked over at Stelle once again, after having flashbacks about her journey with the Astral Express... She just couldn't help but to smile, despite the new generations' replacements to that of old, she's just glad to see that some aspects remained unchanged, perhaps that is the nature of the Nameless?

"Forget it, that was a dumb question." - She said before turning over and then closed her eyes. "... I just want to find Akivili again, I didn't want to believe it."

Stelle had just seen the mouse once more and immediately loosened her left boot before kicking really hard at the direction of the mouse, she timed the momentum and the angle so perfectly so the boot went flying straight at the mouse! But it missed, not because it was off from the target, but the mouse managed to hide behind a table just in time, the boot caused the table to fall over instead, and the mouse resumed hiding once more.

"Damn it!"

Stelle tried to camp the spot where the mouse has hidden again, while analysing its potential escape routes from the cover, she pointed her gun at an entrance as she leaned over to look at it.

"Akivili... Have you truly left me behind?"

Idrila mumbled, this is the side she was too afraid to show Stelle, the one that she wanted to express, but yet she can't at the same time, because of her pride as the Beauty.

But fortunately, our precious Stelle heard it well, and had been very attentive to the Aeon's mumblings... She thought to herself...

Should I let them meet...?

Hey guys it's been a while since I last came up with any statement, just wanted to let you guys know that I am doing perfectly fine these days and I have found myself some motivation to write again and managed to sort things out, at least for the time being as long as I have enough ideas in my head I should be able to update frequently.
