No one hears a words
"Look."
THEIR voice called out, THEY looked up.
It was a night sky, painted by a vast amount of stars up there, all the way to the horizon, reflecting off the surface of the water, creating an ethereal scenery that is new even to THEIR eyes.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
THEY chuckled, as if THEY were an excited child showing the others what they are interested in, but it is a fact that THEY wanted to show THEM this scenery.
"Such beauty..."
THEY received a reply.
"... I like this."
"Ugh..."
She woke up, it was a pleasant nap that she had, but the dream she vaguely recalled is strange, or discomforting even. She would rather have had a more intense dream like being a princess, trapped in a dark castle guarded by a mighty dragon, awaiting a charming knight to come and rescue her... But it might only be random.
She sat upright and started stretching her fingers, then her shoulders before eventually standing on both her feet, yawning as she climbed down from the tree which she was sleeping on.
With a camera in her hand, she captured the moment present to her : A peaceful scenery of an evergreen grass hill, carpeted by what could be described as a flood of the green, with some dots of cattles happily enjoying their moments around...
"Mhm, this will do." - She smiled as she looked at the picture in the camera. Having been satisfied with this, she turned away and began to walk off, looking for another scenery to capture... "Ahh... I'm hungry, maybe time to go grab a snack?"
She then navigated her way out of the woods, coming to the nearest town in order to grab herself a decent meal which she hasn't gotten in a while due to her photography journey. On the way, she walked past through an alleyway which several weird rustling sounds could be heard coming from.
She peeked in and saw a pair of beautiful legs waddling upside down as they were coming out from a trash can, several pieces of junk and being thrown out here and there. Out of good intentions she hurriedly got in and pulled the person out, thinking that they were stuck.
"Watch it, h- hey!"
Despite the person's resistance and pleas, she still pulled them out from the trash can, using enough force to pull her out like in a cartoon movie, where they fell on each other.
"Ow ow ow... Are you okay?" - She looked up, surprised to see that it is a girl, a fine looking girl with yellow eyes, and gray short hair.
"Hm? You look.. Familiar." - The gray haired girl said, her tone is weirdly calm for someone who was just pulled out from a trash can, and something about her aura that gives off a comfortable feeling... which is familiar to the girl. "Hmm... Nevermind, you know any other trash can spot in the city?"
"..."
Freaked out by this girl's attitude, she stood up and hurriedly to leave before she felt her hand being grabbed from behind. Which made her bolted up for some unknown reason, as if she had experienced this before.
"Hold up, is this yours?"
Stelle showed the girl a camera, which was obviously hers.
"Ah, yes..." - She hurriedly took it back from the stranger's hands, and started to inspect its casing, hopefully it is not broken and then turned it on.
After confirming that there are no damages, she let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness..." She muttered and she looked up to Stelle. "Um... thank you."
"It was basically nothing, really."
Now she looks at the gray haired girl closely... She finds her captivating. She blushed slightly but quickly concealed it by looking to the side.
"Ahem... what were you doing in a trashcan...?"
She started to ask a question that she really wasn't interested in knowing the answer to, but something is urging her to start a conversation with this stranger...
...
Half an hour later, Idrila finally managed to find Stelle after not paying close attention to her for a split second, inside a cafe, happily chatting and munching on some desserts with the white haired girl with a camera.
"You!" - Idrila pointed at the two, her expression definitely annoyed and enraged, which could mostly be aimed at Stelle.
"Ah..." - Stelle smiled awkwardly. "Ehe... So did you find anything yet?"
"You... I spent so much time looking for you already! Now get over here-" - She rushed to Stelle and grabbed her collar forcefully before looking at the girl who sat opposite to her, and stopped paying attention to Stelle as her face expressed awe. "You're..."
...
"Agh... It's in my mouth... I don't like this feeling."
She said, as she tried to spit it out, but can't get rid of all of them, while her companion just laughed by her side as he knelt down next to her, offering her a bottle of water.
"Hahaha..." - He chuckled as she grabbed the water bottle and immediately took a sip, washing her mouth before spitting it all out. "Turns out you aren't really good with the horses."
"Not everyone is perfect in everything..." - She complained as she looked up, as her stead just ran off in the far distance, looking at the both of them from afar, while the other horse of her companion obediently stayed nearby. "But it is fun..."
"Hahaha... But we're close, almost out of the desert, you can sit behind me this time." - He offered her his hand to help her get up, to which she politely accepted with a smile.
"No... I still want to try and learn this, even if I am bad at it."
...
Stelle was flabbergasted, she was not expecting those words to come out of Idrila's mouth, that she somehow managed to find another shard of Beauty, another fragment of the Aeon by herself through pure luck and maybe coincidence, but now the three has gathered on a rooftop to prevent anyone else hearing this.
"So... I am a fragment of Idrila?" - The girl asked, her eyes glancing at Stelle and Idrila, back and forth. "But... no, that might explain these weird dreams I have been getting lately..."
"... Seems like your condition is better than mine at start." - Idrila said. "I can guess the reason too, that body is simply not yours to begin with."
The girl looked at Idrila, surprised by this revelation. "What do you mean...?"
"You should be able to recall your entire life on this planet, from birth until now right? With the feelings being surrounded by the loved ones living here as well... But then these memories, or these weird dreams that came out of nowhere, can't fit into that life, right?"
"...Yeah." - The girl was even more surprised at how accurately Idrila is describing her situation now, it is indeed what she have been experiencing for the past few years... "Now I think of it... I suddenly developed an obsession for photography a few years back... I thought it was normal..."
She looked down and gently caressed the camera with her thumbs. This girl kinda reminded Stelle of March 7th, surely if she was here, she would attempt to befriend this shard of Idrila.
"...so what are we going to do now once we've found the fragment?" - Stelle asked Idrila, who looked at her casually.
"We don't have to work so much... Just..." - She looked back at the girl, who looked confused at first, but then looked up at Idrila with some hope in her eyes.
"... Don't tell me we're going to kidnap her."
"No." - Idrila scoffed. "That was just for your Namelesses, for the Fragments of Beauty however..."

Beauty
"... That's... who I am huh."
She closed the diary and let out a long sigh, then put a hand against her forehead as she was developing a headache, from the amount of information she just took in and how hard it is to process them at first glance...
"... just... how ridiculous."
She wanted to deny it.
She wished to resist it.
Seeing her own story being written out already without remembering a single thing... Is just unfair to her.
She shed a tear... But quickly wiped it away, for there is no reason to mourn, not yet.
But she couldn't run from reality, slowly but surely, memories began to resurface, several of which were exactly as described in the diary. The feelings, the sensations, and even the smallest details in the memories... This all has forced her to accept the reality.
She walked out from her room, heading straight to the bridge.
"Welcome back, Idrila, Aeon of Beauty." - The system's voice greeted her again, as it simultaneously maintained the ship as well as controlling it safely. "Have you successfully learned your identity?"
"..."
She was silent, giving out no answer as if straight up ignoring the system's voice. She walked past the entire command deck of the ship, glancing at everything back and forth, not missing out any details...
"..."
"Do you perhaps like a coffee?" - The system inquired.
"... What happened to Akivili, the Aeon of Trailblaze?"
She asked, the system was in silence for a moment, as if complementing whether to answer the question or not, quite a contradiction to an AI's absolute obedience or refusal.
"According to the latest intelligence from the Cosmos at large. Akivili the Trailblaze is suspected to have fallen." - The system's voice hit her hard as if someone punched her in the gut, she was visibly irritated but suppressed the surge of emotion in her mind, and with a calming mind, she spoke again.
"... I see."
She was awfully calm despite this information.
"I have so much to ask THEM... But yet..."
Her voice gradually grew more quiet until eventually faded into the nothingness.
"... This is how it is then... Very well. I accept this journey." - She sighed. "From now on... I will be Idrila." - She then looked up to the ceiling. "What is your name?"
— — — — —
The three arrived at a beach on horsebacks, as Stelle paid for the service at this resort... Which costed her a hefty amount of money but since she has the infinite money generating machine called "Golden Calyx", as well as "Being friends with 3 Stonehearts and Asta", and of course, being the "Shareholder of Penacony", she isn't the one to worry about running out of pocket money.
"We have arrived." - Idrila said as she climbed down from the mount, fixing her clothes as she watches the other two, Stelle was like she was ready to redeem the second dead of the red, while the other girl struggled to keep her horse in check.
"Wah...! Help me...!"
Idrila came over and patted the horse, after a few moments it calmed down, allowing the girl to get down safely.
"...thank you...." - She was in awe at looking how Idrila, supposedly a part of herself being so good at this thing... The entire horse ride reminded her of some dreams as well.
"... Let's go, there's still plenty of time until the sun sets."
The three walked along the shore, listening to the seagulls as the waves clapping, as well as being showered by the gentle breeze coming from the horizon... Of course all can't be that normal when Stelle is the one to cause problems, as she constantly dug around to try and find some clams, or even tried to catch some crabs...
"... Hey, I- Idrila." - The girl called out to her other part, to which she replied.
"Yes?"
"Why didn't you just..."
"I can't do that." - She replied, even before the other part of herself managed to finish asking the question, as if she had long anticipated this. But despite the situation, she doesn't seem annoyed at all, only that she has been more calming and happy than in the town, evident by her soft smile. "The extraction of a shard of Beauty cannot be done forcefully..."
"... I see... then how are you..."
"I have no intentions of harming you or your vessel... Just that... Letting you sit here won't be nice, I'm sure you feel it that way too, right?" - She looked back at her gently. "Besides... I know of a way to do that... It's not yet. Come, we're setting up a camp on the beachside, that place looks nice!"
Meanwhile Stelle collected several nice-looking shells, before being called over by Idrila to help them set up a campfire...
...
Stelle grabbed a piece of gravel and combined it with a piece of steel in her hand.
"Flint and steel!"
...
"It's beautiful here... This scenery..."
She walked over the grassland, as she opened her arms wide, as if embracing the whole world... Simply to show how she appreciates it. Her companion approaches from behind with a smile on his face.
"Told ya it was worth it." - He chuckled. "Now come, we'll settle down for the night over there under that tree."
From the beginning of the journey, when they got off the train, she just couldn't help but to be in awe of the expertise from her companion, she turned back to him. "You sure do have a lot of knowledge about exploring like this... As expected from you."
Her companion does not respond, but just smile.
"I thought you would be showing me the sights of the starry skies or some other planets... But... These normal sceneries..." - She looked at the horizon again.
"It is the aspect of ordinary that makes things like this special, no matter how simple they are. Once you've grown bored of the things you see up there... These will have their own meaning of beauty, completely unique to them alone." - He said, as he started walking over to that tree with the harnesses of the two horses in his hand, alongside with his friend. "That is the Trailblaze..."
...
The fire is lit, as Stelle began roasting some fishes she managed to catch using Mem, Idrila and the other girl sat down as well, the three surrounding the campfire, the sun is soon to settle down.
"You don't like it here?"
Idrila asked, to which the girl looked at her in surprise and shook her head quickly.
"N- No, I... Just that I found these... Somewhat strange and familiar at the same time... But it is nice here..." - She said as she looked up, fixing her hair as the breeze continued blowing a few strands of hair over her face.
"... You haven't told us your name yet." - Idrila said as she closed her legs and soon gathered a few shells nearby on the sand...
"..."
"It's fine... Use the name you feel comfortable the most."
"... Carolina."
"Mhm... Beautiful name." - Idrila looked up at Carolina gently, as her face basked in the warmth of the gentle sunlight... She could be seen blushing slightly.
Until the moment was interrupted by Stelle screaming as she accidentally burned her arm due to a hot rock popping off from the intensifying flames. She hurriedly jumps into the sea, only to find out that she can't jump nor swim. Leaving the other two girls giggling at this scene...
...
"Mmm... Tasty... Quite different and... Feels more primitive, but this is some really good way to cook your food..." - She complimented the dishes, which is mostly skewer meat roasted over a campfire, alongside some marshmallows.... "You know... This all is too bizarre... No one else would even think that you are an Aeon, for being able to do such things so normal..."
He chuckled. "Well, there is certainly not a rule telling an Aeon must act according to their power right...? I can do whatever I want... Besides, it feels nice." He looked up at the skies, which is now painted with the canvas of the stellar sea... Occasionally there are some comets here and there...
She smiled, it is true and she cannot deny that. It sure feels nice.
"Come." - He suddenly stood up as he pointed over to a big lake not too far away. "I want to show you something else too, we can't miss it so we will have to run!"
The two chased each other through the grass hill without using their horses, only their mortal bodies and strength, the Beauty was having a hard time catching up with the Trailblaze... Until eventually, they stopped atop a slope overlooking the entire lake from above, and they can even briefly see the ocean in the far horizon...
She was in awe of how much more majestic the night could be, gifting her eyes with a feast of these scenes as if watching the paintings of some of the best artists the Cosmos has ever seen... She clenched her fist and placed it on her chest...
Saying it's beautiful is not enough to compliment this sight... As it would insult the scene, she was at a loss for words, which is rare for someone like her... Meanwhile the other Aeon stood by her side smiled.
"Not yet."
THEY said.
"...?"
Idrila was confused, but then she felt a hand placed on her shoulder, it was of Akivili's.
"Look."
Akivili pointed up, followed THEIR finger, Idrila looked up to the skies, and was even in awe that there are waves of comets now washing through the skies, line by line in perfect sync as if this was all orchestrated by man made drones, but it isn't, it is the beauty of the nature...
"It's..." - She even shed some tears just by how beautiful this is. "Beautiful..." - She didn't care if it would insult this magnificent scenery or not... She just wanted to say it out loud, admitting that this is beautiful.
Meanwhile, Akivili smiled, being happy that THEY were able to show a precious companion of this beauty, which will become a core memory for the Aeon of Beauty, and eventually, became a strong manifestation for a fragment to hold on, endlessly cherishing and yearn to witness that again...
But now... She managed to witness it again, the stellar canvas, reflecting off the surface of the water as Stelle threw some Imaginary Hats all over the skies, trying to please Idrila's demand of creating shooting stars in the skies as she wished. (gonna do everything for those stellar jades!)
Idrila looked at Carolina, she had just led her here to the shore, waiting for the perfect time at the night with the clear skies without any clouds, and have Stelle creating the special effects...
Although the shooting stars don't look that authentic... But... It surely reminded Carolina of that feeling in her chest at that exact moment.
"H- how did you know...?" - Carolina asked.
Idrila only smiled in return, the gentle, warm smile was enough to be an answer.
Without wasting any time, she lifted her camera up to the perfect angle and... Snap!
"I... I miss him... Are we going to... See him soon?" - Carolina asked, it was a question with hope in her eyes.
"..." - Idrila's smile faded, as she frowned slightly before answering. "Yeah... But... It will still be a long while..."
She smiled, and then chuckled before crying... Idrila came by and held her close, holding her gently as they both cherished the night...
...
In the early morning, Stelle woke up, she got out from her tent and walked over to check up on Idrila and Carolina... Only to find that Idrila was already up, her hand patting Carolina and... There seem to be a rectangle crystal that lays right next to Carolina, its color is vibrant and magnificent... It can put the Six Phase Ice to shame.
"... Is that..." - Stelle tried to ask, but Idrila nodded.
"Mhm... Her wish was satisfied, and now... She returned."
