Despite Scarlett not wanting to help the people who took away someone's child, she knows that the wicked women are far worse. She walks up to Granny's with her mother and walk in to greet the villains.

" So, the rumors are true. You are back from the ashes," Regina says.

" What are you two doing here?" Maleficent asks.

" Making it easier for you. If you wanna try to kill me, I'm right here", Regina says.

" So that's why you think I'm back-- to kill you", Maleficent says as she transports in front of them.

" I trapped you underground for 30 years, and you're not big on forgiveness", Regina says.

" That's true, but what you did is nothing in this grand scheme. There are far worse crimes that must be answered for", Maleficent says.

" Careful, darling. She's thick as thieves with those heroes. Not so sure about little Scarlett", Cruella says.

" Oh shut it, puppy-hater", Scarlett snarks.

" Not by choice. You know how much I wanted my revenge. But in this town, I had to play nice to survive. Alone-- watching them enjoy the happiness that I was denied. If you're planning on destroying some of that happiness, I want it", Regina says.

" You can't expect us to believe that", Ursula says.

" Of course she doesn't. That's why she's here. She wants us to see she's still one of us", Maleficent says, " And what about you... Scarlett?".

" If you can't understand my hatred for Emma Swan, then you clearly don't know the first thing about being a villain", Scarlett says with a wicked grin, " We haven't changed".

" Then let's find out", Maleficent says as she grabs two shot glasses off of the table, " Are you still a couple of bad girls?".

Regina takes one glass, Scarlett the other. They both down the drink, then crush the glasses in their gloved hands.

" The worst."

Their night is spent consuming even more alcohol, not that Scarlett is complaining. She's not one to turn down a drink.

At one point, the women burnt down the Sherriff's car, which is where they find David and Snow.

" What the hell happened?", David asks

" Maleficent happened", Scarlett says.

" And that is her idea of a good time," Regina says as she points to the car.

" Are guys okay? What happened last night?" Snow asks.

" We had to prove our selves. Which meant some drinking, some burning, and lots of destruction", Regina sighs, " Sorry about the car".

" And you really shouldn't be here. Next time, we have to meet covertly", Scarlett says.

" Next time? You didn't find out what they're planning?" David asks.

" It was one night. But we did find out they're hiding something, something incredibly powerful", Regina says.

" Well, what is it?" Snow asks.

" We do not know", Scarlett says.

" So, the only thing you accomplished was property destruction?" Snow asks.

" We accomplished trust", Scarlett says.

" Last time, I had to come to Maleficent. This time, she'll come to us", Regina says.

" Do either of you know where Killian is? I'd like to speak with him", Scarlett says.

" He's on the look for you with Grant. We should probably tell him you're okay", David says.

" Wait, Grant? Why they hell is he helping look for us?" Scarlett asks.

" My guess is that he's trying to do right by Emma", Snow says.

Scarlett rolls her eyes at the thought. She has not had many encounters with Grant, but she knows that she's not very found of him.

And by meeting covertly, the Charmings decide to bring everyone with them to their next meeting in the library.

" I said we needed to meet covertly. Now I see you brought the entire Charming softball team and they're pirate mascot?" Regina asks.

" That's my husband you're referring to", Scarlett says.

" We were worried about you guys", Snow says.

" Well, then worry quickly. We can't be seen with all of you", Regina says.

" Listen to me, this is a bad idea. This woman, this dragon, she's dangerous, and you don't know the first thing about going undercover", Emma says.

" Thank you for the un-needed input, Miss Swan", Scarlett says.

" Maleficent already told me why they're here", Regina says, " Apparently, they're after the author, too. I simply want him to change my fate".

" What do they want?" Emma asks.

" She's getting to it", Scarlett says.

" They want to shift the entire balance so that the villains win and the heroes lose. They feel the only way to get their happy ending is to destroy yours", Regina says.

" Do you think they can find the author?" Emma asks.

" They have a lead, we don't. And tonight, they want me to help them steal it... whatever it is", Regina says.

" I'm telling you, these things never end well", Emma says.

" I understand your concern, but we're in", Regina says.

" Okay, well then, I'm in too", Emma says.

" Shocker", Scarlett says.

" I'm gonna stick by you. I'm gonna get your back while you do this", Emma says.

" No, it's too dangerous", Regina says.

" I said I was apart of Operation Mongoose. I am apart of it. You wanted my help-- now you're gonna get it no matter what it means for us. Whatever she has planned tonight, I'll be there", Emma says.

" For the record: I did not want you help", Scarlett says.

" Scarlett... that's enough", Killian says as he walks up to her

She looks up at her husband and tilts her head. She huffs, but doesn't argue.

Scarlett and Regina go back undercover, but find the wicked women taking over Gold's cabin.

" Breaking and entering now?" Scarlett asks as they walk inside.

" We needed some place out of the way to hang our headdresses and hide our kidnapped puppets, and this little hovel became available to us", Mal says.

" No. Your dark magic... it's not a spell or an object. It's...", Regina trails.

" That's right, deary. It's me", Gold says as he slowly walks into sight, " You didn't really think I'd stay banished for long, now, did you?".

At the sight of her father, Scarlett almost blows their cover. Her eyes soften for a moment, just a moment.

" Papa?" She asks.

" Hello, sweetheart. It's been a while", He says as he gives her a smile, " I learned quite a bit about myself on my little journey outside of Storybrooke. You were right, Regina, sometimes the teacher needs to learn from the student. And sometimes... you need to fall very far... to finally see the light".

And then, Scarlett remembers the very reason she wanted to find her father, and her demeanor changes to a cold one.

" Well, then you've finally accepted the same truth I have. You can't get your happy ending without finding the author. I suppose that puts us on the same side", Regina says.

" I suppose it does", Gold says, just as Cruella and Ursula walk in with Pinocchio, " And now, with the help of the real boy you've acquired, we can take our first steps".

" What are you going to do?" Regina asks.

" Step aside, I'll show you. Or have you gone soft?" He asks.

" Never", Regina chuckles, then steps aside.

" What a relief. You see, we're not gonna ask young Pinocchio here to remember anything. Because he can't. No amount of torture will work on him. But it will succeed on the man he used to be", Gold says, then waves the Dark One dagger, transformer the young Pinocchio into the older August, " Welcome back, August. Now... shall we begin?".
