life's a party, enjoy every moment of it

It was 4:35pm when Huening Kai had finished his classes. Beomgyu and Yeonjun was waiting for him by the gate, both of them looking worried.

"Huening Kai, we can—" Yeonjun's statement was cut off, Huening Kai placed a finger to his brother's lips indicating for him to shut up.

"No worries, Yeonjun-hyung. You two can go home." The young male interjected, giving Beomgyu and Yeonjun a quick smile. The two were worried but they decided to leave.

"Hey Ningning, Yuna invited us to join her party." Taehyun informed causing Huening Kai to doubt answering. Taehyun noticed that the younger frozed at his position.

"If you don't wanna join, then I'm not gonna join! Come on, come on!" Taehyun smiled brightly, his smiles never fail to make Huening Kai's heart to beat rapidly.

For the last time, Huening Kai looked at Taehyun for confirmation, Taehyun giggled then nodded, "I mean it. Come on, let's go to the place you suggested!" He assured, pulling Huening Kai by the wrist.

As they walked farther, Taehyun suddenly feels that he wants to buy a snack.

"Let's get a snack." Huening Kai suggested, which made Taehyun look at him. His and Huening Kai's eyes met, Taehyun gave him a shock look while Huening Kai was there, puzzled.

The two went to a convenience store close to the university. It was owned by Taehyun's uncle but now his aunt, Seulgi owns it.

"Kai! It's nice seeing you here." A girl spoke, she was supposed to hug Huening Kai when Taehyun suddenly walked pass them.

The girl was taken aback at such movement, on the other hand, Huening Kai moved back a little.

"Well, hello there." The lady smiled sweetly, which made Taehyun confused. He looked back at the younger who was visibly uncomfortable with the lady.

"Please excuse us." Taehyun notified, trying to be kind as possible. He slowly dragged the younger on the stalls of snacks.

"Let's pick, what do you wanna eat?" Taehyun queried, looking Huening Kai who's a little bit clamer now.

Huening Kai scanned the whole stall, he looked for something that he might wanna eat at that place. The younger had earned his composure again, ever since he was pulled by the other away from the girl.

"Uhmm.. let's take this and that, and this too..!" Huening Kai beamed, making Taehyun smile. The two of them bought all the snacks they want and Huening Kai insisted to pay since he has a lot of money with him.

It was 4:50pm when they have reached a small house. It wasn't that small but it was enough for two person. As the two entered the house, Taehyun had his eyes sparkle.

The interior designs were so exquisite and dim, that's why he immediately liked the house. It's only a small house with one room, a kitchen beside the living room- a counter top separating them.

"Take a seat, take a seat." Huening Kai spoke, placing the books above the coffee table. Taehyun placed the bags of snacks at the floor, then he sat at the gray couch.

"So pretty in here.."

Taehyun thought, his eyes still wandering the living room. There's no television but there's an internet. Huening Kai went to the kitchen to prepare the powdered juice they bought.

"Do you have a phone, Ningning?" Taehyun suddenly questioned since he was holding his phone, trying to connect to the internet. Huening Kai shooked his head, then walked back to the living room.

"Ah.. that's why I don't see any social media accounts.."

The elder thought, giggling at his own conclusion.

"I don't like the idea of having phone nor its uses." Huening Kai shared, placing a cloth at the coffee table then the pitcher.

"Give me your phone, I'll connect you here." Huening Kai asked, earning a smile fro Taehyun. The elder handed his phone at the younger, then connected him to his internet.

"You know Tyun, I love being alone." Huening Kai spoke, drawing the attention of Taehyun. "I love being with myself. When I'm alone, I'm at peace." He added, standing up. He paused for a second to fetch some glasses.

As he came back, he placed the glasses at the table.

"I told myself before that no person could make me feel alive, no one could help me." Huening Kai continued, Taehyun's eyes still on him.

"I would listen over a thousand stories from you."

Taehyun thought, him being lost on the other's soothing voice. He felt his heart race and felt more lost the moment Huening Kai's eyes met his.

"... I would like to thank you for approaching me." Huening Kai ended with a smile which made Taehyun smile too.

"Can I hug you?" Huening Kai questioned, eyes on his lap. Taehyun giggled, "you can, don't have to ask me." The elder replied, making the younger squeal.

Huening Kai was engulfed by Taehyun into a warm hug.

"Feels so warm and cozy."

Huening Kai thought, hugging Taehyun tighter. Huening Kai and Taehyun's heart raced as if they both run for meters.

As they parted, Huening Kai and Taehyun giggled happily, forgetting all their problems.

"Come on, let's start putting all our ideas." Taehyun implied, his smile never leaving his lips. He feels so happy and his heart flutter after the hug.

"Sure! After this, let's eat snacks." Huening Kai added, earning a slight nod from Taehyun.

"Tomorrow is Saturday, right?" Huening Kai asked, earning a nod from Taehyun who is busy jotting down a summary.

"Uh.. uhm.. never mind.." Huening Kai trailed off, he maybe got too comfortable with Taehyun. The elder looked at him, confused.

"What is it?" Taehyun asked, closing the notebook he is writing. Huening Kai shooked his head vigorously making his hair bounce.

"Alright then, I will not force you to tell me anything. But, don't be shy." Taehyun advised, earning a slight nod from Huening Kai.

"I can't get too comfortable, he might hate me."

Huening Kai thought, silently distancing himself from Taehyun.

5:55pm when they finished putting all their knowledges together. Both of them were eating, talking about things they love.

"You should head home, it's almost 6pm." Ningning suggested, earning an attention from Taehyun.

"Weird, he's pushing me away."

Taehyun thought but neglected those thoughts, maybe the other was just worried for him.

"Hmm, maybe you are right. I shall head home then. Do tell me if you want me here to accompany you tomorrow." Taehyun suggested, patting Huening Kai's head. Huening Kai nodded at the suggestion and walked with Taehyun until he is halfway from his home.

"Good bye, Ningning..."

".. good bye Tyun, see you tomorrow."

And with that, Taehyun's eyes sparkled. His heart raced once again and went home happily.

Returning home, Huening Kai's heart fluttered. He doesn't want to think of anything now, his mind was filled of their moments from earlier.

"I'm so.. happy.. that I feel alive.."
