i knew i was wrong

It was 5:30pm when Kai and Taehyun had finished hanging out. It was already dark although it was just 5pm.

"Wanna stay for the night?" Taehyun asked cheekily, looking at Kai who's face is now red as tomato. The younger was taken aback at such invitation.

"Your parents will be mad... if I do.." Kai replied, muttering. Even though the younger's voice is becoming inaudible, Taehyun had heard him.

"Nah, mama loves me bringing friends in the house. No worries!" The elder responded, smiling at him. Kai's heart started racing again, this might be an unhealthy occurrence.

Taehyun doesn't want to be denial, he knows himself that he likes the younger and willing to pursue him until he gets him.

Also, he wants the other to feel special and happy.

"O-okay.. I'll g-go.." Kai stammered, his face getting red even more.

Taehyun giggled, skipping all the way home. While Kai was walking nervously, he doesn't know how to face Taehyun's parents.

"Welcome ho— oh! You bought a friend with you? Hello?" Mother Kang greeted them, bowing at Kai's direction. The young man bowed too, stifly. He was nervous, his hands are shaking but managed to smile.

"You can remove your hoodie, it's too hot in here." Taehyun suggested, giving out his hand indicating to Kai to hand his bag.

The younger didn't hesitate and gave Taehyun his bag, he also removed the hood in his head so he would look less scary.

"Here take a sit, handsome kid. You know Taehyun talks a lot about you." Mother Kang suddenly shared, pulling a chair for Kai. The younger smiled at such information, he sat at the chair that Mother Kang pulled for him.

"Ah.. that's really.. good to hear.." Kai replied unconsciously, smiling at Mother Kang. Mother Kang's warmth, a mother's warmth that he never felt ever since he entered the Choi Mansion.

"Mom, please don't tell him any details." Taehyun complained, pulling out some books to do his homeworks with Kai later.

"Fine. Have you guys eaten already?" Mother Kang questioned, her voice still soft as ever. Kai nodded as a response while Taehyun hummed. Mother Kang nodded in acknowledgment.

"Alright, I'll be in my room here. Wake me up if you two need anything." Mother Kang informed, standing up. "It was nice meeting you.." she trailed off.

"Kai." The younger proceeded, mother Kang nodded and left the dining room.

"Let's go upstairs?" Taehyun queried, bowing as if Kai is a prince. The younger chuckled then bowed as well.

"After you, my Highness." Kai blurted, making Taehyun's heart thump rapidly. His hands started to feel weird and his eyes is focused on the books.

"Did I said somet— oh. The 'my' Highness."

Huening Kai smiled, then patted Taehyun's head.

"Come on my Highness, we have to finish our homework." Kai teased him more, causing Taehyun to bury his face at the books he was hugging.

Kai giggled then carried Taehyun at ease. The elder was shocked by the sudden action and also surprised by the younger's strength.

The younger carried him until they've reached the elder's room. Taehyun guided the other to his room so he wouldn't enter the wrong one.

As they've reached the room, Huening Kai didn't let go of Taehyun yet.

"Let go. We have to finish our works." Taehyun whined, him still carried by the younger's strong arms.

"Not yet, but can I hug you?" Kai suddenly questioned, which made Taehyun's face red again.

Taehyun was stunned at the other's straightforwardness but also fluttered for the same reason.

"Sure.. I was just surprised, nothing to worry about." Taehyun replied, smiling at Kai.

Sure they have hugged at Kai's home but there is still the feeling of surprise. Maybe because it is the younger who asked for it.

Kai placed Taehyun at the bed gently, getting the books then instantly burying his head at the elder's neck.

"You're cute, Hueningie." Taehyun spoke, voice laced with gentle. Instead of replying, Kai buried his face even more as if he's entering the elder through his neck.

Minutes had passed since Kai hugged Taehyun. The younger doesn't seem to let go, feeling all the warmth that Taehyun has.

"It's 6:35pm Hueningie. But I'm not complaining, go on." Taehyun informed, causing the other to tighten his arms around his waist.

"Let's start making at 7pm." Kai spoke, Taehyun could feel his breath sending chills to his spine. A kind of chill when excited.

"Mhm, okay okay." Taehyun responded, caressing Kai's hair.

7pm, both of them are sitting at the floor, reading what Mr. Lee had given them.

"Well, I didn't know that this is easy." Kai spoke lowly but enough for the other to hear.

"Yeah, Mr. Lee is kind." Taehyun responded, then started on doing his thing.

Several minutes later, the younger had finished his work, not even opening his notes. On the other hand, Taehyun seemed to forget what they have studied earlier.

"Hmmmm." Taehyun visibly struggling, let out a voice.

Without him noticing, Kai was already at his back. The younger spreads his legs then locked him in between.

"This one goes here. The explanation is on page 56, letter B." Kai informed, his chin leaning at Taehyun's shoulder.

Taehyun could feel his ears burn, given how close they are now. He shrugged off his thoughts, then focused on answering.

As he got the hang of it, Kai suddenly shifted closer to him.

"Shit, too close, too close.. I'm embarrassed how flushed I am right now."

Taehyun thought, his fingers moving in an unknown pattern.

Still him not processing what the other was doing, Kai made a move again that made his heart almost left his ribcage.

The younger placed his head at his neck but he felt Kai's lips touch his neck.

"Shiiittttt, I'm gonna faint."

Taehyun bit his lips harshly, feeling so flustered of what's happening between them.

Kai, on the other hand was oblivious of what he was doing.

He locked his arms around Taehyun's waist and simultaneously placed butterfly kisses at the other's neck.

Realizing, he didn't stopped. He was too confident of what he is doing.

"Shit."

He then slowly left the other's neck as he felt the other tremble.

"N-no.. yo-you can continue.." the elder shyly informed, causing his heart to beat in excitement and happiness.

There, he buried his face again and placed small kisses at Taehyun's neck and nape.

"Tell me to stop when it's not okay." Kai spoke, continuing on what he is doing.

Taehyun nodded in response and continued doing his homework, even though half of his attention is at the man who is kissing his neck and nape.
