He was sitting nervously, anxiety creeping into him as the teacher came in with a thick sheets of paper.

"We have few rules in this competition. No cheating, do not copy from your seat mate and no excuses." Ms. Im spoke, slamming the thick sheets on her desk.

She started giving the sheets one by one, then sat back on her chair after giving all those to the students in the room.

"Hey, wanna team up?" A student suddenly whispered to him. Taehyun shooked his head and raised his cover.

Taehyun glanced at Sunghoon who looks like struggling, the questions was indeed hard.

His heart was racing, the questions wasn't even related to the topic that he studied last night.

At first, he thought of losing, no hope. But then, remembering what he promised the younger, he couldn't bring to lose.

"I can do this, for Huening Kai!" Taehyun whispered, his eyes sharp looking at the answer sheet.

"Good morning, Hueningie!" Taehyun beamed, has Kai's head at his arms, serving as his pillow.

"G-good m-morning.. Tyun.." Kai trailed off, brushing his eyes. The younger was shocked to find himself being awaken by others. His sleep feels amazing.

"It's 4:30am! Come on, let's eat." Taehyun suggested, sitting next to Kai who has his eyes half close.

"Uhm.. Tyun.. aren't you.. uncomfortable around me..?" Kai questioned, hesitating. He was scared that Taehyun might not talk to him after he gets home.

The elder chuckled, "if I'm uncomfortable around you, will I still be this energetic? Don't worry, it's no big deal!" Taehyun smiled brightly, making Kai's heart jump.

The two went downstairs and found mother Kang awake, it seems that Yeosang has a fever.

"Ma, what happened to Yeosang?" Taehyun asked, Kai pulling a chair for him, then the younger pulled for himself.

"He's sick, he went on drinking with his friends. When he got home, he said that his body was aching." Mother Kang responded, placing a pitcher above the table.

Taehyun nodded in acknowledgment, then served Kai a water and placed foods on the other's plate.

"Alright, let's eat well!" Taehyun beamed, looking at Kai who was looking at him.

Ever since yesterday, Kai's eyes never left the elder. A person that something his eyes couldn't leave.

After taking a bath, Taehyun went downstairs and found Kai holding their things. His left hand holding his books and the his bag hanging at the younger's right arm.

"Want me to bring them for you?" Kai asked, his eyes looking like a puppy's. Taehyun shooked his head, "no need."

"Ma! We're leaving!" Taehyun called, earning a loud "okay" from her mother who was taking care of Yeosang upstairs.

Taehyun was walking into his bicycle, being tailed by Kai as if he is his dog.

"Wanna ride together?" Taehyun questioned, immediately earning a nod from Kai.

Kai's silence doesn't bother him, he knows that the other is very shy.

"It feels good to be with him only. I want to be with him forever."

Kai thought while on the way to the university. He feels so comfortable around Taehyun.

"Do you have plans tomorrow? Tomorrow is Saturday." Taehyun questioned, swaying his head. Kai thought first, if he's home, all he'll do is cry and be a burden to his hyungs.

But when he's with Taehyun, he feels happy.

"I.. I wanna.. hang out.. with you.." the younger's voice trailed off, showing that he's feeling shy at the words he said.

Taehyun chuckled, "we can go to park, café, we can go everywhere!" He exclaimed, imagining him and Kai together in the places he mentioned.

Kai smiled, he was also imagining the two of them in the place that the other told. It feels good.

"Sounds good, I want to go with you. I'll pay for everything." Kai blurted, surprising Taehyun. He knows that the younger is crazy rich but he doesn't want to burden him.

"Don't worry, I just wanna be with you. I don't care about the money I'm holding." Kai added, his voice full of seriousness. Taehyun gulped, half afraid, half flustered at the comment.

"A-alright! Le-let's have fun in Sa-saturday!" The elder stammered, earning a light chuckle from Kai.

As they've reached the university's gate, Kai parked Taehyun's bicycle and walked beside him. He was like Taehyun's small puppy.

They've arrive at exactly 5:55am, not much of students around. There were few but not that many.

From what Kai observed, the students who went early is in lowkey relationships.

"We're too early." Taehyun spoke, sighing frustrated. Kai gave him a pat on his shoulder and giggled.

The two decided to stay on Taehyun's secret place at the library. They read books, told stories and secrets.

"So I heard your hyung, Yeonjun has something for Soobin-hyung." Taehyun shared, Kai nodding in acknowledgment.

"So that's why he was crying last time? Did they had a fight?"

Kai's thought run free through his head. Currently, Taehyun is sitting between his legs, the elder's head resting on his chest. His arms around the elder's waist, locking.

"And I heard that it's because Yeonjun-hyung and Soobin-hyung had an argument because of this lady!" Taehyun continued, him playing with the squishy ball they saw.

"Are they fighting for a lady or someone got jealous?" Kai asked curiously, his eyes locked on Taehyun.

Taehyun squinted his eyes, "Yeonjun-hyung got jealous, that's why." He replied.

"Maybe he was overthinking that Soobin-hyung would replace him with a lady."

Kai thought, looking at Taehyun who's playing with his sleeves.

"Will the time comes that Taehyun would fall in love with a lady too?"

He asked himself, already overthinking. He's scared that Taehyun would find someone better than him, or fall in love with a lady.

"If he does, why am I sad? Shouldn't I be happy for my friend?"

Kai again, thought, his heart dropping on every thought that enters his mind. He somewhat feels jealous while imagining Taehyun with someone else, doing the things they do together.

"I won't let that happen."
