vacation; happy birthday tyunnie!

Three weeks after the graduation, Kai, and Taehyun decided to hangout at Seokjin's Ramen House. The place was recommended by Beomgyu, he said that he always goes to that place whenever he is hungry.

"Foods here are delicious. Beomgyu was right." Taehyun spoke, then chugging the glass of iced tea. Kai nodded, the delicacies were indeed delicious.

"It's his birthday today, did he forgot about it?"

Kai thought, suspiciously looking at Taehyun who seemed to enjoy a bowl of ramen.

The younger decided to launch a surprise for him, he requested some help from Yeosang, Beomgyu, and Yeonjun. The surprise will happen at night, since Taehyun likes night more than day.

Before Kai could take another sip, his phone ringed loudly.

"Uhm, wait a minute, Tyun! I-I'll be ri-right back!" Kai smiled, dashing away from their table. Taehyun find his actions suspicious, he's been acting weird ever since this morning.

"Is he cheating on me?"

Taehyun thinks, frowning at his own thoughts. Instead of thinking any further, he held his chopsticks, and started eating again.

"No, no, Hueningie loves me so much! He won't cheat on me!"

He thought, munching the ramen. Some customers started looking at him, while Seokjin; the owner of the place, laughs.

"Kai's way too suspicious."

Seokjin thought. He was one of the person who is involved with the surprise. Beomgyu asked him to take care of the two while they prepare the "surprise".

"You okay? You seemed to be eating aggressively." Seokjin asked suddenly, making Taehyun choke on the ramen in his mouth. The owner frantically fetched some water for Taehyun.

As the younger manages to swallow the ramen, he replied, "I don't know, why is my boyfriend like this?" Frowning, Seokjin wanting to giggle.

"Maybe there's something, something he's busy. I must say, that guy won't cheat on you." Seokjin assured, trying to calm Taehyun. The younger nodded, slowly eating again.

"Shit, what happened to the cake!?" Yeosang yelled, getting Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Daniel's attention. The cake was disoriented, frosting everywhere at the box.

"Nooo! We don't have enough money to buy one again!" Daniel cried, lowering his head.

The whole preparation was chaotic. Beomgyu tripping, ripping the "happy birthday" sign, Daniel messing up the cupcakes, Yeonjun getting lost, and Yeosang disassembling the cake.

"Kai's gonna kill us." Yeonjun spoke in a monotone voice, panting heavily. The others agreed, the whole surprise is messed up.

"Are we even kids? Why can't we prepare a nice, proper, birthday surprise!?" Yeosang sighed, frustrated.

"Maybe because, we are.. kinda unfamiliar, and was too excited," Daniel frowned, earning nods from the others.

"Guys! I got message from Kai!" Beomgyu shouted, running towards the dinning table.

if it was truly chaotic, make things right this time. i'll bring him to watch fireworks, i talked with yoongi-hyung abt the fireworks.

"Okay, he said that he we still had a lot of time.." Yeosang trailed, the others thought that it would be another disaster.

The four of them stayed silent. Thinking how they will redo the things.

"Hey! I think someone can help us.." Yeonjun suggested, the three's ears perked up.

"Jimin-hyung.. he's good at surprises!" Yeonjun beamed, earning a smile from the others.

Kai, and Taehyun decided to walk since it was only 1pm on the afternoon.

"I'm already 19, yet I don't feel like it." Taehyun suddenly spoke, voice low. Kai glanced at him, pulling the elder's face closer to him.

Kai's eyes met his, face serious, hands cupping his cheek, and waist, "You're old," Kai giggled, making Taehyun giggle as well.

After, Kai brought their faces close, their lips centimeter away from each other.

"I love you." Kai muttered, then sealed their lips together.

Their lips moved gleefully, the elder melting into the younger's arms.

Thankfully, the area they stopped is quite unknown for most of the people.

Taehyun was the first one to pull out, catching his breath. Kai looked at him, his eyes full of love.

"You're the prettiest." Kai murmured, placing a quick peck on the elder's forehead. Taehyun smiled, he also gave Kai a peck on his forehead.

"I love you more." Taehyun replied, pulling Kai into a tight hug.

A minute and later, Kai silently looked up to sky, which made Taehyun look up too.

5 . . . 4 . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . .

Colorful fireworks flashed to the sky, making Taehyun's heart jump in joy. The younger knew that the elder loves fireworks so much.

"W... wow.. wow.." Taehyun stammered, eyes fixated to the sky, to the fireworks that launches in the sky.

Kai focuses to him, he could see the elder's both excitement, and joy.

"Happy Birthday, Hyunie." Kai muttered, resting at Taehyun's shoulder.

"Where are we going now?" Taehyun asked, wondering. The street seemed to be unfamiliar to him.

Kai smiled, he pulled the elder by his waist.

"To my house, remember the day we did our pair activity there?" Kai asked, that ringed a bell to Taehyun's head. The elder vigorously nodded, smiling at Kai.

"It's been so long.." Taehyun trailed off, a blush appearing to his face as he remembers the time they slept together.

As they arrived by the door, Kai knocked twice, which confused the elder. Suddenly, Kai, and Taehyun heard a knock, thrice.

The younger opened the door, as the door slowly opened, the lights turned on.

"Happy Birthday, our dear Taehyun!"

Taehyun's eyes glistened, observing the area, there is Seokjin, the ramen house owner, Yoongi, the convenience store owner, Jimin, a baker, and the others.

Yeonjun, holding the "happy birthday" sign, and, Beomgyu holding the "our dear Taehyun" on the other side.

"Happy Birthday, baby." Kai whispered to him, placing a kiss on his cheek.

Taehyun darted his eyes towards the younger, although it was filled with tears.

The elder placed a long, but soft kiss at the younger's lips.

"Hey! Eat first before kissing!" Seokjin jokingly complained, making all of them laugh.

a/n : extended this story from 30 to 35. as i read my notes, i found out that i miss a lot of details in the previous chapters, so i decided to make a chapter for 'em! :)
