"Good morning, Dr. Choi. The head of the office was happy to hear your excellent performances these past few months!" A lady in a teal nurse suit beamed, smiling at the tall figure happily.

The young man smiled as well, "really? If that so, then I'm glad." He responded, his dimples popping as he smiled again.

After minutes of conversation, the nurse left, nodding at the tall doctor.

Currently, he was smiling, not just because the head of the office commended him, it's also because today marks the day of something special to him. A day that he will never forget.

"Time flies fast.."

He speaks in his mind, looking at the small frame on his table. It's a picture of him, and an another man, both of them looking happy at the picture.

"Dr. Soobin!" Taehyun laughed, calling as he enters Soobin's office.

Soobin scoffed, "mocking me now, huh?" He dares, glaring at the younger jokingly. Taehyun laughed, then there, another man entered.

"Kai! Are you done talking with Dr. Hwang?" Taehyun questions, looking Kai with his big deer eyes. Kai nodded, sitting close to Taehyun.

The doctor rolled his eyes, "being lovey-dovey in my office, huh!?" He exclaimed, making the two laugh.

"Hey! Hey! What if we invite our old friends back in high school!?" Beomgyu gleefully asked, looking at Taehyun, Kai, and Yeonjun.

The three of them laughs, shaking their heads.

"Come on! Just once! Reunion party, eh?" Beomgyu persisted, making Taehyun nod, which made Kai nod as well.

In the end, Yeonjun couldn't do anything but to agree with his younger brother's plans.

While Beomgyu, and Yeonjun are planning, Taehyun, and Kai are sitting by the balcony.

"Do you think.. Soobin-hyung will come?" Taehyun asks, worried. Even though years had passed, the three of them; Kai, Taehyun, and Soobin knows that Soobin hasn't moved on.

Kai sighs, "that's what I also worry about." He answered, massaging his husband's shoulder. The two of the worries for Soobin.

It was night time, Kai, Taehyun, and Soobin decided to have a drink since Soobin was promoted.

"I'm so proud of you, hyung! After years of difficulties, you reached your dream," Taehyun smiles, in which Kai nodded.

Soobin smiles, "I got everything I want," He laughs, drinking the soju from the bottle.

Kai feels uneasy due to Soobin's sudden drink of alcohol, but still smiled.

Not even an hour, Soobin's face became red, and so was Taehyun's. His husband started become clingy to him, while Soobin started tearing up.

"I got everything. The luxuries, the money, the riches.. but all of them were never enough to fill in the void of my heart." Soobin declares, sniffling. His tears were continuously rolling down his cheeks.

Kai frowned, looking at Soobin. He stayed silent for a while, waiting for the doctor to speak once again.

Taehyun was there, mumbling sweet words to his husband's ear.

"I admit, I miss him everyday. I always look forward waking up everyday because there might be a chance for me to see him. To meet him." Soobin cried, tightening his grip around the soju bottle.

"He even promised to marry me," Soobin giggles at his own words, "what a good memory." He added, drinking from the bottle once again.

And both of them sighed in unison.

"Let's just.. hope.. that things will work out in the actual reunion." Taehyun stated, trying to cheer his, and his husband's mood.

Several days later, Soobin, unexpectedly came to the location. He said that there is a low chance of him attending since he has to work for 12 hours.

"Hyung? Hyung!" Kai calls, running towards the doctor who is wearing a plain white t-shirt, and a brown pants.

"Everyone's here, huh?" Soobin smiled, looking around, but Kai knew who exactly Soobin is looking for.

"He's at the counter, with Hyunnie," Kai scoffs, rolling his eyes.

Soobin looked at him, confused, "who?" He chuckles, making Kai sarcastically laugh.

Not a minute long, Soobin found himself sitting next to the guy he has been missing.

He feels his heart beat speed increase as he sit longer. The doctor doesn't know what to do, shall he talk to him? Or should he wait for Yeonjun to notice his presence?

After contemplating for a while, Yeonjun finally notices him.

"Ah, long time no see, huh?" Yeonjun asks, his eyes not leaving the doctor.

Soobin's heart is now completely beating crazy. He missed Yeonjun's voice, he missed his sly fox demeanor, he missed his smell, he missed Yeonjun.

The doctor nods, shyly, "yeah... it's been a while..." he responded, looking away. Soobin couldn't meet Yeonjun's eyes, because he knew damn well that he will blush like a 17-year-old high schooler.

"How are you?" Yeonjun questions, hoping that Soobin hadn't met anyone yet.

It might have been easy for anyone, but not for Yeonjun. He misses Soobin like crazy everyday, at some point, he would cry, and cry until his eyes are all puffy.

Soobin smiles, "I'm good. You?" He replies, smacking himself internally. He's too nervous that he might burst.

"I'm good as well." Yeonjun replies, wanting to ask something, but is too shy to bring up.

"Shall I ask him? I'm scared, fuck."

Yeonjun, fighting his own voice in his head. He doesn't know what to do, he might do something he will regret.

He still loves Soobin, and will always choose Soobin.

"We only live once, so fuck it!"

He confidently thought, facing Soobin once again.

"Do you have a lover...?" Yeonjun, shyly inquires, his facing heating up.

"Fuck, I sound like a desperate high schooler, what's wrong with me!? I should sound cool.. ugh.."

The man thought, pursuing his lips into thin line. He couldn't afford to look at Soobin now.

On the other hand, the doctor smiled, his confidence boosting at the sudden question.

"You promised me." Soobin mentioned, which made Yeonjun's head hung low in embarrassment. Although he do wanna marry Soobin, but what he did back then was highly embarrassing, and it's something that shouldn't be mentioned.

Soobin laughs, "don't feel embarrassed. I waited." The doctor added, smiling at Yeonjun who's eyes is now focused on him.

Yeonjun looked at him, "then...", "we will start by dating again. From the beginning, until I become your boyfriend, your husband." Soobin interjected, making the elder smile.

"Ah.. love birds.." Jongho suddenly spoke from afar, which made Taehyun, and Kai laugh.
