The ravenette Crown Prince looked shocked at the being in front of him. He had come to the town to buy some weapons similar to what he had back in his previous life. Which Athan did manage to inform the blacksmith to make a tonfa for him. On his way back to the palace, he had decided to take a nap in the forest; however, he did not plan on meeting a damn Hydra when he woke up. Unknown to him, a place that he had slept, no human has ever managed to stay alive for the air was filled with potent mana and intense bloodlust. However, him being a Cloud guardian in his previous life and having powerful mana in this life was able to keep him alive. So you can imagine how shocked he was when he woke up the first thing he saw was a three-headed dragon, like those in Greek mythology—a hydra.

"It's been eons since someone has succeeded to be our master." The three-headed dragon said as he looked at the shocked Prince. "My name is Ghidorah. What is your name, mortal?"

"Athan de Alger Obelia, Crown Prince of Obelia Empire." Athan bowed his head in respect to the dragon. Something that the dragon did not expect from a human.

The middle head smirked. "Interesting."

"How did I pass?" The ravenette asked.

The hydra looked at him dumbfounded. "Don't tell me you don't know.

The Prince looked at him, confused.

Ghidorah laughed. "Hahaha!"

The middle head looked at him, amused. "You are a very interesting mortal."

The other heads nodded in agreement.

"Very well, then. From today onwards, I shall be your familiar. It's a pleasure to meet you, Prince Athan." The middle head said before turning to a mini hydra and then resting himself on Athan's shoulder.

Throne Room

"Why are you here?" Claude asked coldly as he stared down at the redhead and black-haired intruders.

Andre looked at the Emperor. "We were sent here to look after the Crown Prince Athan de Alger Obelia."

Claude narrowed his eyes. "Hoh? By whom?"

"By Grand Duke Phoenix Andino."

"I see. Very well. Athan?"

Athan narrowed his eyes at them and then nodded. "It will be fine."

"Good. Then from today onwards, you will be the Prince's Knight. You are dismissed for today."

"Blessings and glory upon future sun and sun of Obelia Empire." The two foreigners bowed before leaving. As they left, Lily and Athanasia arrived.

"Blessings and glory upon the sun of Obelian Empire." Lily curtsied.

Claude rested his head in his left palm and stared blankly at the brunette maid next to Athanasia. "Lilian York, long time no see."

"I haven't been able to pay attention to my one and only daughter due to my duties at court—the same with Athan. But still, Athanasia has grown into such a healthy child. The credit belongs to you." Claude said.

Athanasia trembled under Claude's gaze. I'm scared

"Thank you, your majesty." Lily said.

Don't make me laugh! It's not 'haven't been able to pay attention.' It's you neglecting me! You completely erased me from your mind! I bet it's the same with the crown Prince who did not even exist in the novel! Thought Athanasia.

"However, from now on, I will be looking into the princess' well being. There will be no need to worry." Claude said.

"Starting today, Princess Athanasia will be treated as a proper Princess." Claude continued. He glanced at Athan, standing next to him. "Introduce yourself."

Athan nodded and looked at Athanasia.

Athanasia flinched at the cold blue jewel eyes directed at her.

"My name is Athan de Alger Obelia. Crown Prince of Obelia Empire and future Emperor of the Empire. I am also your older brother." Athan said flatly.

Athanasia sweatdropped. It's like he's reading from a manual or something like those call centres in my world.

In the hallways, Lily hugged Athanasia.

But you didn't acknowledge me as your daughter. In the novel, Claude admits that he never saw Athanasia as his daughter...So what on Earth are you playing at here? And why is there a Crown Prince? I've never read anything about Prince Athan appearing anywhere in the novel.

"It's okay Princess," Lily said. "It's alright."

I really hope so too. Athanasia thought

A few days passed, but Athan, Claude, and I stayed the same.

Claude rubbed his chin as he looked down at Athanasia. "I think you got a bit chubbier since I last saw you. Don't you agree, Athan?"

Athan looked at Athanasia and then nodded.

"Hehehe you look pretty too, papa, big brother!" Athanasia beamed.

Felix and Lily sweated while the father and son remained silent.

So far, I've met up with Claude and Athan two times. And had some sweet (and scary) father, brother, and daughter time. Athanasia thought. During these meetings I realized, no matter how pert and insolent I behaved..they didn't try to kill me. On the contrary, the more I behaved like a scared child, the more formal and boring my answers were...Actually, I still feel scared enough to faint. Athanasia trembled underneath Athan and Claude's cold eyes.

Claude turned around. "Follow me."

I survived! Athanasia thought.

Felix and Lily let out a sigh of relief.

I knew it! He's the type who liked those who are aggressively friendly. Athanasia peeked at Athan whose lips were twitching. She narrowed her eyes. Is he...laughing at me?!

Athan turned around and followed Claude. "Hurry up, small animal."

Lightning struck Athanasia. ANIMAL????!!!!!

"I was on my way to the lake. Get ready and join me." Claude said.

Gah! I forgot about the other iceberg!

"Your majesty, I worry the princess being around water is..." Lily said.

"What's there to worry about when she's with Athan and me?" Claude interrupted.

You two! You two are the problem here! Athanasia shouted mentally.

"B-But..."

Athanasia clutched to Lily's dress. Don't fight him, Lily! What if he decided to go after you? I really really don't want to ride that boat either, but..."

Athanasia imagined Claude saying, "You're no fun, die." And tossing her off the boat while her brother would only smirk. She anime cried.

"Don't you want to join us?" Claude asked.

"Yep, Athy wants to go with Papa and big brother, too!"

"Really?" Claude said and then picked her up and then put her on the boat. He then sat on the other side while Athan sat next to her.

Athan ruffled Athanasia's hair and smiled slightly. "I'll protect you, small animal."

Athanasia's eyes widened and blushed at the rare sight of the Prince smiling.

Claude stared at the odd scene and a small scowl formed on his face before looking away.

Wow, what a ride. Athanasia thought as she curiously looked around. Are all the Emperor's boats like this?

Athan closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

But how is it moving? Athanasia looked over the boat. Nobody is rowing this thing.

"What are you thinking about?" Claude interrupted her thoughts.

Don't talk to me. Don't look at me. What should I say? Big brother? She glanced to her side and saw a sleeping prince. Gah, why did you have to be asleep now?! Should I say the weather is nice today? The lake is pretty? Ugh.

"Your hair is sparkly and pretty, papa!" Athanasia chirped. "I like sparkly things! Hehe."

Well, his hair is pretty. Like gold. Am I obsessed with golden things because I was so poor in my previous life?

Claude smiled, making Athanasia flinch.

"That reminds me, you had a jewel pouch with you that day." Claude said. "I kept your treasures safe and sound. why don't you come and retrieve them yourself next time?"

And to that, I can say nothing! I suppose I'm not meant to have a peaceful life.

Athanasia looked at Claude's loose robe that looked like ancient Greece's toga. What clothing is that supposed to be from? Egypt? Greece? The Kingdom of Oil? He looks good in it. Like a sunbathing puma. She looked to where the Crown Prince was sleeping. Brother looks like a sleeping black dragon, unlike him. Seeing them like this, they're not bad to look at. I don't want to admit it...they're the type of man who easily attracts women...I can see why they would get drawn to them. Especially Big brother whose personality is like those delinquent bad boys that's all the trend in my world. Diana really liked Claude as well. I remember reading that from a spinoff of 'Lovely Princess.' Are my eyes the same colour as his?
